Never could read more than maybe a work or two by the same author before since they would be too similar to the point I felt it was unnecessary. But fujimoto just has such an amazing writing style and has so many different ideas for each story that I just can’t not read all of his one shots. Honestly the best mangaka of our time, no one really comes close imo.
@@wonderchild3879 idk. To me oda puts too many speech bubbles. There’s so much talking in places that, imo, don’t need it. He has to let some of the moments speak for themselves. Also the way he writes his characters is very one dimensional to me. I’ve only gotten to chapter 620 but a lot of the characters feel like all they act upon is their one trait like sanji always lusting for woman, zoro getting lost, nami being money hungry, etc. Its more frequent on some characters than others but it’s a bit annoying when all they do is that one thing. I’ve enjoyed most of what I’ve read from one piece but it has a lot of things that hinder my enjoyment of it.
@@wonderchild3879 oda had too much speech bubble, its the product of oldtimer shounen. Too much talking and likes to stretch the story to the point it become too much, but hey, its my opinion

My favorite part in fire punch was when fire man told the behemdolg "you're about to get fire punched!" And fire punched the fire out of him. Wait didn't this happen?
First time i saw it, was in a meme of Agni's face, at that time i laughed and made a bunch of jokes with that face... After i read every chapter, when i saw that face again, i swear i cried more tears than Denji has said he wants to cop a feel
don't bother, just wait for one piece to end (it should only take about 4 more years)(no i'm not joking, it will probably take 4 more years, maybe even 5). It's kinda mediocre rn.
I'm looking for that manga Tatsuki Fujimoto did about a father and son who record the final days of his mother's life. SPOILER: Then at the fucking end she explodes, and it shows him jumping in a weird comical way from the explosion. But in reality the whole thing was an art project by some kid, and because he got the entire audience so absorbed and emotionally attached to the depressing drama taking place, they chastise him for effectively turning the whole thing in to one stupid joke. I legit think this is brilliant, and I want to read the whole thing.
Great video. Interesting watch after reading the whole thing. Guys, I've read every work of this genius, including every oneshot as well. But when I open the Wikipedia page about him, there are some oneshots that I couldn't find on the internet whatsoever. Not ever mentioning of them anywhere, but the Wikipedia page. I'm just really curious. Perhaps someone noticed this as well and maybe curious too
About fire punch, I think the end was too sad so he changed by just adding a final panel with things getting brighter by a new big band or something lake this
id say goodbye eri is a bigger must read than chainsaw man. chainsaw man is probably second best work. fire punch should be read to roughly the midway point before it spirals out. everything else i read of his is interesting but not must reads. lookback was solid tho
3:23 I would like to protest upon your appreciation, because his work is a huge misrepresentation of what the LGBTQ+ community stands for, we are not lust machines who copulate everyday without end like quanxi in chainsaw man, and his blatant fet*shizing of the trans community by making "genderbend" manga is absolutely disgusting, and uncomfortable. I would appreciate and respect mangaka more if they would just stop involving us and giving us superflous and insincere inclusion. We are humans and demand to be treated as such, not characters to be tokened and made a pedestal of, not people to fet*shize and use for fan service, I do not stand for ANY mangaka when they add us into their manga. Because it is never out of pure good will and intent, and instead is either because they fet*shize us, and or want to make fanservice out of us. I rest my case.
There is no harm intent with the addition of lgbt characters such as Quan Xi, she slowly took her time to realise what gender she likes (9 years) and its pretty clear your a little snowflake who over dramatises anything that includes your beliefs. If, you would be so kind and could kindly provide a response providing what and which mangaka who has used the lgbt to their fan service?
I am grateful for overseas mangaka for not conforming to progressive views like we have here in the states. Because frankly, it's kind of boring. And the larger majority want to read about stories that appeal to them. That's why Shonen Jump is so popular. It's target audience are young adolescents boys.
Video pacing was same as fujimoto's story pacing. Slow start then quick quick quick and Last an elaborated throw.
I only read chainsaw man and fire punch and this is very accurate, later chapters are always like "Random bullshit go"
@@havalkanalismi4045 deadass, I be having to read the chapters all over again but it all just works wellin the end
