The quality of your bbq and videos are next level mate!! I am super happy to see how far your channel has come. I know you will go much further with it too. Keep up the amazing work you do mate
Thank you for showing us this. I'd suggest that you also make another video that tells people how to trim the Brisket, which used the first part of this video. This info was not easy to find.
@@LownSlowBasics Or, just chop that part out and re-upload it to explain "How to trim Brisket and separate the Flat from the Point". That's a good title -- just trying to help.
@@LownSlowBasics Also, be nice if it has PROS and CONS of it. Because I think it'd cook quicker and risk less because you're not cooking big piece of meat -- if you make some mistake. Like my STUPID ASS did over Memorial Weekend (05-30-2022). My cooker went off in the last 2 or 3 hours, and meat got cold. So, we finished it in oven, because it was wrapped. But, for some reason, the fat didn't render right and some is perfect, but other parts of it is very hard. So, it's VERY, VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE dog food now. [He he he]
Awesome timing, I just bought my first ever full brisket to do one of your cooks on the weekend and now I've got a burnt ends recipe for it as well. Cheers legend!
@@justhoon Congrats to you. I know how it feels good. And, it's so much cheaper to do it at home now, especially with how things are more expensive now.
You must be a mind reader mate because I was literally thinking about cooking some brisket burnt ends this weekend as I’ve never had brisket burnt ends and then bam I got a notification for this video!!! Awesome vid mate and well timed 🤣
My wife and I just got brisket at $ 2.99/lb from Krogers for Memorial Day (5-30-2022). So, this is first time that I've been able to afford BBQ meat, and it'll be first nice piece of meat in quite a while that we've cooked. It's been a lot of pork and hamburger meat for us. It's 9:31pm and it's out cooking in the Traeger. I'm gonna do LSB's burnt ends after it gets done.
Idk how the beef market is in Australia, but it's bonkers here in the US. Nice to watch videos on brisket since I'm stuck cooking pork for the foreseeable future 🥲
@@LownSlowBasics I have a farmer friend here in the south and he says they're not seeing a penny of it. Haven't looked into it myself, so it's a mystery to me 🤷♂️
@@AntsBBQCookout Yeah, it is expensive & crazy. But, wife and I just got brisket at $ 2.99/lb from Krogers for Memorial Day. Looks delicious mate. I have to give this a crack myself. If i buy a whole brisket and separate like you did, do the cook up with the burnt ends and leave the other chunk of brisket, how does the chunk of brisket go being frozen then cooked up when needed in a few weeks time? Cheers
Best smoking channel on TH-cam easy to follow straight to the point. No long dragged out explanations. Keep em coming 👌🏻
Thanks heaps mate! I try to teach the way I learn myself 🔥

What firelighters do you use mate?
Just redheads from memory
Ripper again mate! One question - do you need to rest the point before cutting into cubes?
I don’t normally.
SPEECHLESS IS CORRET VERY NICE
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Oh man, just had dinner but not we are hungry again!
I’m not sorry. 😝
Is it possible to smoke chuck steak?
Absolutely
How was that total cook Bro?
Around 7 hours
@@LownSlowBasics Cool and then you can just the other part like a normal Brisket? Could you in theory do both at once? On say like a kettle webber?
@@michaelfordyce9160 you absolutely could do it whole, one point and flat is done, take point off and sauce etc at end :)
Going to give it crack tomorrow morning wish me luck
And I'm having soup tonight. 🤦🏻♂️
Made me hungry for beef now.
😅
Just stop it. Please stop it.. LOL!
It's a shame that today's pitmasters don't have a freaking clue to what real burnt ends are. They keep making these which are NOT burnt ends
