Thank you for showing us this. I'd suggest that you also make another video that tells people how to trim the Brisket, which used the first part of this video. This info was not easy to find.

@@LownSlowBasics Or, just chop that part out and re-upload it to explain "How to trim Brisket and separate the Flat from the Point". That's a good title -- just trying to help.

@@LownSlowBasics Also, be nice if it has PROS and CONS of it. Because I think it'd cook quicker and risk less because you're not cooking big piece of meat -- if you make some mistake. Like my STUPID ASS did over Memorial Weekend (05-30-2022). My cooker went off in the last 2 or 3 hours, and meat got cold. So, we finished it in oven, because it was wrapped. But, for some reason, the fat didn't render right and some is perfect, but other parts of it is very hard. So, it's VERY, VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE dog food now. [He he he]

My wife and I just got brisket at $ 2.99/lb from Krogers for Memorial Day (5-30-2022). So, this is first time that I've been able to afford BBQ meat, and it'll be first nice piece of meat in quite a while that we've cooked. It's been a lot of pork and hamburger meat for us. It's 9:31pm and it's out cooking in the Traeger. I'm gonna do LSB's burnt ends after it gets done.

Idk how the beef market is in Australia, but it's bonkers here in the US. Nice to watch videos on brisket since I'm stuck cooking pork for the foreseeable future 🥲

Looks delicious mate. I have to give this a crack myself. If i buy a whole brisket and separate like you did, do the cook up with the burnt ends and leave the other chunk of brisket, how does the chunk of brisket go being frozen then cooked up when needed in a few weeks time? Cheers

It's a shame that today's pitmasters don't have a freaking clue to what real burnt ends are. They keep making these which are NOT burnt ends
