@@WCRyder Why not? I mean, there is no mention of the second of Celebrimbor's ring because it was inside of the Mordor and far from the reach of anyone. After they thrown the One in lava and killed Sauron, they have no reasons to be aware of its existence in any way. The only thing that can be "weird" is the fact no one really see Mordor's army are far, far biggers that what they fight during the Return of the King, 'cause they are divided from inside by Talion. I guess Galadriel, Saruman or Gandalf would be aware with one way or another of Talion's work, so this is strange they never mention it. But it's not really incoherent whatsoever. So I find the whole plot of Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War really well written when it comes to be coherent with the internal lore of the films.
Never played AC4, but damn, this game and RDR2 hit different man. Great characters who deserved a lot more than they got, but still gave it all for people who’d never know or never be able to properly thank them for such a sacrifice. and people say video games cannot be art.
in my mind, he is canon to the book universe since everything is way more powerful in the books than the movies, allowing him to exist without being too OP.

I also think the reason some people might get emotional with this song is because if you have played bothe game you get attached to tallion I’ve only played shadow of war but I watched my dad play the first one I’ll miss tallion after I complete act 4
Completed act 4 a couple week ago damm tallion literally went through hell to protect middle earth even in darkness he still kept his promise to free middle earth sometimes you have to become evil to complete your mission I’ve also been thinking he became darkness but then walked through light I think the only reason he was able to do that was because his main intentions wasn’t to rule middle earth it was to free it anyway possible and that’s why he was able to walk through the light and find peace with his wife
if people get emotional they are feeling the harmony and listening to the lyrics which basically reflect our own time, a 'waning light of man', because deep down we all know our prior generations were blind or simply unable to effect the truth of our world. this truth is becoming more and more evident with the moves our actual 'Mordor' is making against us..... funny how these writers thought the villains of the 1940's were the bane of the world, meanwhile we are all living here 80 years later and the world has plenty of darkness to go around. they steal the word 'liberal' out of 'liberty'. that's the real reason why people are getting emotional.
My beautiful and wonderful daughter passed away a year ago. For some reason this music represents my feelings. It says to me that my pain will be there for the rest of my existence and i better be able to handle it whether I'm ready or not
It's great to hear the two versions combined, but there's a persistent kick drum over the vocal sections and it ruins the cadence of the singer's phrasing.
Talion Is dead. He died during the destruction of the one ring. The only loose ends are baranor and idril. Nobody would really want a Eltariel game only.

black flag, red dead redemption 2 and shadow of war are the games that made me cry. these games just hit different.
