Did you guys see the tagline in a trailer? It said "A New M. Night Shyamalan Experience".... I'm guessing he's probably going to do something really different with this movie instead of having a twist within a twist.
I maintain that this is a sequel to The Sixth Sense, and we’ll see the return of Cole Sear working with the police to capture the Butcher based on the knowledge of his victims. This was set to be released on the 25th anniversary of The Sixth Sense, before being moved back four days.
This is complete speculation. I have been reading that perhaps the killer is actually the daughter, and the father is cleaning up her mess. Then I thought, "Where is the mother?" Could the father taking the daughter to the concert be a way of getting her out so the mother can do her thing?
The daughter is far too tiny to be able to be constantly subduing grown men on her own. My personal theory is either it's an entire family thing, as in husband, wife and kid are all in on it. Or Josh's character is the spotter for the actual killer who picks the victim and then he just watches. Another theory, daughter helps the killer lure victims at concerts but dad doesn't know this.
Okay so after I've seen the trailer basically him and his wife are separated and he went to go pick his daughter up to go to the concert so then as soon as he get there he started know it's in all the police are showing up and he started getting a little bit uncomfortable so that's when he told his daughter that he's going to go use the bathroom be right back that's when he ran into Jimmy and he revealed that the whole concert was a trap and Lady Raven wasn't aware of this until after her second performance
I think Josh Hartnett's character is a Dexter-esque vigilante, and he went to the concert to set a trap for the Butcher (maybe the daughter is even in on it), and now he has to figure out how to get him past the police. But we'll see. I'm excited for this one.
@TheMovieCouple I still am keeping with my theory that one of the twists might be that his daughter might be involved in being the serial killer or she is the mastermind of it all. Just my opinion
With the twist seemingly having been revealed in the two trailers. I hope there's another twist that we won't see until we're in the theater. Although it does seem odd to me that the twist has been revealed in the trailers. Especially for an M. Night Shamaylan movie, is known for having a twist in his mivies. I'm wondering whether they've put that "twist" in there and edited the clips together to make us think we know what's going on and going to happen before we've seen the movie. But we dont.
Put it down and press it for the father to have his daughter directing a film and then his other daughter a part of a movie pretty damn impressive for Dad
The lines "Monsters aren't real" followed by the dad saying " yes they are" makes me feel like the twist is that the people The Butcher is killing are real life actual monsters (like demons/aliens/etc).
This movie was great imo! Saw it twice already. Caveat… don’t over analyze what the police “would do” or “what the wife would do “. And YES I was rooting for a serial killer to escape, it’s written in a way that allows you to empathize with “Cooper” at times, especially for how he cares about his daughter. It’s a thrill ride to the very end!! One more thing.. I’ve seen the t-shirt vendor get grief by reactors but when you see how Cooper & him interact it’s not surprising that he told him & Cooper was already sus at everything he was seeing police wise.. And of course there’s always a few twists 🤷🏼♂️😂☠️
I watched Hide And Seek to see the father is the crazy one. I watched The Good Son to see Kevin from Home Alone be murderous and Evil. I say ALL the members are killers and this is seen through the father’s POV.

I have a theory that , that guy who was trapped in house is the original butcher and he's protecting his daughter because she was the next one but that guy also has accomplice so dad is trying to lure him out but it's the mother
The twist of this movie is crazy! Seeing this happening in a concert setting is very unhinged since I have been going to a good amount of concerts this summer. 🫣😵💫😬

Stop expecting "shyamalan twists"..this kills the experience as a viewer.
