I if I had to choose I’d probably stick with my northstar V8 but for what it is with the v6 I honestly think there’s absolutely no possible way you could make it sound any better so props to you. Hey man I have an STS with the 3.6 with no cats and mufflers, but I really recommend you to put a TOTALFLOW bullet muffler to give it a deeper sound so it won’t make the rattling noise.
@@universe2751 I Put high flow cats, did not remove the resonator, I removed the stock mufflers and put TOTALFLOW 644 mini bullet mufflers 409SS from Amazon.

For some reason, in 2008+ the V6 STS and CTS sound terrible when you straight pipe them, has a worse brappy tone than the older V6 models. Get some high flow 100 cell cats, double x-pipe and Flowmaster outlaws with 2.5" piping It will be ridiculously loud however.
Did you bring it to a shop or did you diy? I have a 05 STS and I wanna get a Similar setup but Idk how to get started with buying the parts let alone finding someone to fit everything
08-11 STS have bigger and different shaped grilles. There's mesh grilles for those years on ebay, Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp. if you want the 05-07 mesh grille you need an 05-07 front bumper
Same chassis and very similar parts so I see why not they would bolt right on. Catback is the way to go if you don't wanna wait and deal with custom bends/welds and stuff.
Cold Air Intake and Exhaust are the easiest ways to get more power. MACE Engineering makes performance parts for the LY7 engine like intake manifold insulators and camshafts. It's crazy

Now that you don’t have cats, try putting it on manual mode and keep it around 2500 rpms and stab the accelerator once. It’ll do the biggest pops ever, I have the same car and I’ve heard it throws some big flames, just haven’t been able to see them myself

Car ended up falling through clunk in rear end. Think it was rear differential bushing. Oh well search goes on. Maybe Mercedes c550 or g35 coupe. Good luck man.
It'll gain a bit more power for sure. Just know you're gonna probably use more gas a little bit and gotta maintain the engine make sure everything runs clean and healthy

Oh I know the 3.6 is good I have it in my 2012 impala with a trifecta tune and custom true dual exhaust from the downpipes back. I know they will hold there on with some v8s. But I'd still rather have that v8 rumble.
Nah I like the extra power and no more of that annoying ticking sound when driving slowly, they were gonna be bad anyway. I'll drive with this setup for 1000 miles to see if the sound improves, only did 300 so far

I did it at a shop. It's your best bet to have a long lasting, good looking and good sounding exhaust

No but the car runs rich and I have to use fuel injector cleaner every other oil change to keep things clean
