Nice find! I have the same exact generator, bought new at Sam’s club in 2004 while stationed in NC for hurricane power outages. We’ve only used it less than a dozen times in 20 years so it still works and looks like new. I fire it up every 3 months and let it run for a good 15-20 minutes, and change the oil once a year. I found using no ethanol gas and yearly oil changes is the key for long term success. Subaru makes a great dependable engine.
Good quick fix on that gennie!! Don't you wish they were all that easy?? I've got a Troy-Bilt TB 130 with a Honda GCV 160 I took in on trade, gave $25 off of $225 for a TB 240 with the bagger. The TB 130 probably just needs a carb clean to get it running again. It pops with a little happy juice. I had paid $50 for the TB 240, did a carb clean and put a new blade on and an oil change so a decent profit.
Q tip on a drill with polishing compond. Cleans them up

The TB 130 was an easy fix, bad, nasty fuel in the carb and a bad thermo wax on the choke. Weird thing was, good fuel in the gas tank.
Awesome turn around on those units.
Awesome job sir, keep up the great work
i appreciate the encouragement.
Good morning Tommy
Hope it works great and fair profit 😊
doing the job for a co-worker.
Nice
Tommy needs a shop or work bench
Carbs are easy, will someone adjust a governor on this engine
I noticed you work on the ground all the time, seems knee and back would hurt, why not a work bench ??? Or in shop ???😊
