I had an old family friend who was a U.S. Army officer at the Remagen bridge battle, had a fragment of the bridge in glass on his book shelf. Funny old guy, dude had some crazy stories.
This is far more atmospheric than HLL. But this is very story driven, with specific triggers that aid it. HLL is very random due to it being multiplayer.
Battlefield 5 with the HUD off on multiplayer is something else, constant planes flying overhead, bombing, constant fighting and the graphics are great
I am living around there and to this day the bridgetowers are there and the bridge was never repaired. Now there is a way for bikes between Koblenz and Bonn along woth the Rhine right there where the perspective is at around the 12th and 13th minute.

Pretty sure the grenade guild lines were the same back in WW2. If it is outgoing you say, frag out. If it is incoming you say grenade. Games still can’t get that right.
Incorrect front sight on that M1 carbine. Rear sight is also to big. The gun was never manufactured with a last round bolt hold open. Can't feed a scoped gun with a stripper clip. Rear sight on that BAR is a little to big. Casually abandons prisoners. The Thompson our sergeant has is the wrong pattern of the M1928, barrel's to long, especially for the time this battle took place. Your average infantry man would not have been trained to operate a German AA gun. From a gameplay perspective, looks great. I'm just sad that a franchise that prided itself on accuracy has fallen to what it is.
They made a BIG mistake though. It was also attempted to blow the bridge up using the new Arado Blitz bomber, but those bombers were too fast so they missed the bridge and bombed the river.
Tough stages of this game... When I have to destroy 2 tanks one after another, Second, when I have to stop the train. 😂😂😂😂 Both took days. And the flame thrower was the deadliest weapon ever.
Kinda underwhelming to end this game on a bridge. They should of done battle of Cologne or another perspective so we can see battle of berlin. Also would of been nice to see the pacific.

Nope. There were no losses and no big fights during the conquest of the bridge. Only a single machine gun, but without much effect. It was easy and no epic battle like in CoD. The actual fighting began only after the conquest of the bridge on the German side of the Rhine. Trust me, I am a historian and a member of the museum in Remagen. 😉
