You can say whatever you want about WWII Multiplayer (it was trash for me) but Campaign is awesome! Played it recently on my 4090 + 7950X3D on 4K Ultra and damn.. This game shines!
Call of Duty most of the time does a good campaign. I've never been a fan of their multiplayer but that's just my preference. I'm the opposite with Battlefield LOL I always thought they did a good multiplayer but their campaigns are normally garbage. My dream would be for the two companies to get together and collaborate with their strength

Multiplayer may not have been well reviewed, and the campaign may have had some, odd things. But Liberation Of France, Capture Of Aachen, Germany, Ardennes Offensive, Capture Of the Bridge at Remagen, and an Epilogue of the Holocaust made it one of the most realistic WW2 games I ever played. I also like the fact you play as someone from Longview, Texas in The Big Red One, one of WW2's most legendary fighting forces.
Yes, it looks great. But my point of criticism would be, stupid, clumsy tactics on the part of the Germans. It's literally destroying this whole game. It's way too easy, and Germany had a professional army, who wouldn't make all these mistakes. That is why it is not so realistic after all.
Not sure what this game is being advertised as but he seems more like a CoD style "Superhero soldier sim" rather than any kind of gritty, somewhat realistic WW2 game. Maybe it's just the difficulty to capture the trailer but even with tracer rounds whizzing 2 feet from you it never seems to really "Feel" like you're in huge danger. More like a silly, Hollywood action thing than any attempt at realism which makes sense as it seems to be very similar in style to the extremely linear, set piece filled CoD campaign stuff. No choices, just follow the path and do exactly as you're told.
Animations look really good in this game, but the sounds and weapon design is terrible. Battlefield quality audio and better gun design would make this COD one of the best in the series.
The sound effects are not matching the bloody war action lolllll those airplanes flying low and bombs sound like firecrackers 😂😂😂 maybe the camera man is deaf already.
These sort of staged scenes always look great but the AI is generally pretty basic. There were more than a few bits here when he should have been killed.

I just wished they made like a soviet side as well. Perhaps even make a new campaign and sell it as a DLC. I'd pay for it easily.
