I swear Mike goes above and beyond with his reviews, everyone else is spending 10 minutes unboxing the chairs and then talking about soft/not soft the pillows are. Mike is straight to the important things like real life situations, gamer poses and spill tests. I'm fairly sure now that i'm going to buy the Omega in PU Black. I really like the overall total black out look and the suede trim on the sides. It gets hot in the summer but personally putting on a fan or opening a window is generally enough air to cool me down and in winter I love the feel of cold leather slowly warming up. I can't wait to order one of these chairs! P.S do you have a affiliate link for the Omega? I'd love to pay you back for the awesome review.
Hey buddy! Really glad these vids are helping :) I try answering questions that I wanted to know myself haha. This is my affiliate link for the Omega, thanks for the support bud! bit.ly/MWOmega2020
I just bought two Titan XL's with your link after watching all three of your Secret Labs reviews.thanks for these well thought out reviews my dude! love how you had all different size people in all three chairs and especially how they sat cross-legged!
TriNhil hey man, let us know how you like the chair.... I am seriously in the market as my EWIN racing chair just broke on me this weekend :( ... its a little more pricy that my previous chair but I kinda have the philosophy go big or go home..
I've been using a DXRacer Iron series chair for over 3 years now and it has started to wear a lot on the leather covered parts. Although the chair has helpted me a lot and served me well, I'm dissapointed that the leather wore down so quickly. I'm 178cm tall and I tend to sweaty a lot while gaming, so this video and the one about the different chair sizes really helped me to decide to buy a Titan chair with softweave fabric. I'm deffinetly gonna use you link/code when I buy my chair. Thanks for awsome content!
SecretLab and Dxracer, which brand is better bro. SercretLab still not available in my country, so I dont know about durability PU leather of Secretlab. My Akracing Octane is wore down day by day. Because Im really love House Stark Edition. So Im looking a good reason for purchase PU leather
I recommend if you get the fabric one that you buy a good water proofing spray. It won't change the color but will help it not absorb water if there's a spill. Bonus..you can use that spray on literally anything you want to water proof so a good investment.
Just ordered the D.VA Omega chair and this video made me even happier with the soft weave decision. Looking forward to having a chair where I won’t break my back.
I love my soft weave omega y’all just like being negative. The chair is firm and soft at the time for good back support. I can sit and play for hours. I recommend them
Not sure if he still reads this but I think this video can work for any chair regarding the material, I am recently looking into a new chair for myself (not the secretlab ones) but I needed to know the difference between PU leather and Fabric and this video really helped me out.
I have the PU Leather one, sweat a lot, and use it in a room that gets hot. I tend to only wear shorts at home so I have a lot of skin contact to it and mine has peeled a lot. It is comfortable and feels premium though
buying anything with pu leather is just regret, that shit should be banned on any product. It has no durability and for sure peels which looks like garbage. I don't understand why manufacturers even use it at all.
I went with the leather version. Few reasons: The first being I got the Game of Thrones edition one which isn't offered in the Soft Weave version. With that said, there's more colors and designs available in the leather than the soft weave in general. Finally, the fact that the leather is easier to clean up is a big thing for me. I eat and drink around my computer a lot, so this was a no brainer for me.
Definitely going with PU after thinking about the liquid resistance. I'm a man... in-front of a computer.... yea i dont want to risk a stain from that.
Muchas gracias por la review, I was watching a lot of others reviews but yours was so much better, i'm going for the PU Leather, greetings from Costa Rica!!
Amazing video! Super detailed :) But with all of those things considered, it kinda still makes me torn against the two. My situation is that my room doesn't have the best ventilation (even with air conditioning) unless if the windows are open plus I have the hottest room in the summer and coldest in the winter and I have a kitty and my concern is that she might scratch on the chair. I don't have an issue with seating though. Not sure which is best suitable for me :(
Height measured in cm, weight in lb. Consistent usage of metric systems. Though this way one can display larger numbers, 'cause 180cm looks better than 5'11" (just below 6', the magic number) and 160lb would just be 72kg. Also, of course you're sweating, if you're wearing a hoodie indoors.
Just bought the Titan PU leather gaming chair from Secretlab before watching this video lol but I'm glad I still made the right decision because I wanted that premium feel and look for my setup, the only thing I'm kinda dreading now is the summertime since I don't have AC LMAO but I'll be switching chairs to my rusty one that has the soft weave so no worries there. Anyways this was a great video plus I subscribed and turned my bell notifications on! Keep up the great work Mike!! 👌🏻👍🏻
Unfortunately I found this video a day after ordering my Titan soft weave blue charcoal so I cant help on the link. I am glad I found this video though. It helped convince me that I made the right decision going with the soft weave option.
@@matrodriguez at first I thought it was too firm. Now that I've had it for a while, I find it very comfortable and supportive. It has softened up a little but is by no means a "plush" chair. The softweave is very nice and I'm glad I went with it over the p.u. overall the chair is nice and is holding up well to daily use. I'm in this chair roughly 4-6 hours a day, 6-7 days a week. It's not perfect though. The arm rests could be a little longer and they are a bit "loose" on the mounts. The upright is stable but the arm pad itself has some slop. Other than that small complaint, I'm very happy with it and look forward to sitting in it after work. It makes my chair at work feel very inadequate lol.
@@aegixxer1 nice. I currently sit in an IKEA Markus and the cushion has gotten flat over the years I've had it. I'm genuinely curious and hope the Titan isn't too firm for me. I was reading around and many say "plush" chairs are bad for our backs anyway. I work from home and game all day so I'm sitting a ton. Thanks for the response. This helps a lot.
Excellent comparison video! Answers the un-asked question about which material is better for the gamer who sweats a lot when operating their joystick - playing flightsimulators of course. 😏
I just received a Secretlab Titan EVON Titan Leatherette in Black. The box was well padded, instructions were very clear, but what these reviews don’t mention is the formaldehyde like smell from the chair materials. I’m currently airing it out and hopefully the strong nauseating smell will disappear. Overall, the materials are sturdy, good framing, but the lumbar support looks lame. I’ll have to try it out for at least a week or two to determine if it justifies the $580 price tag. Good luck
Mad respects here for being very informative in including the sitter's stats (height, weight, etc.), which goes a long way in helping us viewers make a decision. Thank you!
Got the blue softweave:) So fucking good. Went and saw a $349 random name chair at a store the other day and sat down.. So happy I didn't get some BS brand off Amazon or W/e. Def investing money in a proper chair.
Icei I choose fabric for breath ability. I was sure that pseudo-leather would not feel good to me after extended sitting. I was unwilling to spend even more for real leather.
Does the PU leather make the chair a ton more firm (the seat and all) than the soft weave? Im hesitant that the chair seat and back with PU will be uncomfortably firm and not break in? thanks for any insight
I sweat rather easily and your review directly addressed it--thanks!. I'm undecided between the Titan Softweave or NAPA Leather model (because genuine leather is more breathable). The leather, of course, is considerably more expensive, but I have a long-haired cat. It's a hard choice. BTW, how tall are all of you? I'm 5'8" (about 173cm).
He's 5'7, he said it in another video. He uses the Omega one and well if you have a cat, hopefully it doesn't scratch at the leather if you get the NAPA leather one.
Thanks, Mike! This vid helped me decide to go with the SoftWeave Fabric. Will use your Affiliate link to purchase. :) (And your 'Secretlab Titan vs Omega 2020 Series Size Difference - Find the BEST FIT for YOU!' pushed me over the edge into buying it, and choosing the Titan over the Omega though we're the same height. @@switchunboxing Really loving it :) I am 243 pounds 5 foot 7 inches, bulky shape and before ordering I maybe wanted to go fir the titan XL was worrying from the measurement that the titan would be too tight for the shoulder but the titan is wonderful :) enough space everywhere :) I find it really confortable but it is a firm confort, if you do not like firm confort I would say pass but I really like that kind of confort in car seat and chair. I have less back pain since I have this chair really helped my posture :). Before that one I had an office chair of around 300-400 $ canadian and don't think I will get back to those. But if possible go to a place where you can try many different kind of office chair, this one is my favorite by far of all those I tried but since the firm comfort space and adjustable posture I think it is not necessarily for everyone but I love it :) . I hope it helped :) If you have other questions I'd be happy to answer them or at least try to ;).
Feinhart well thanks I really appreciate that. I’m really skinny but 6 foot three and I don’t like the bucket seats in my car I don’t like the fact that the sides you know they go in, on the back and the seat. So I’m kind of weary of the bucket seat style here but since I’m skinny maybe it’s good that it’s going to be spacious. Yeah I think I will go try out some chairs today if possible but I don’t think I’ll be able to find this one anywhere. Maybe something similar so I can at least compare the firm vibe. I’m currently working in my bed on my laptop either sitting up with my head we need against the wall or sitting on my side. I think it’ll help productivity to actually have a chair plus it might help me sleep if I’m not working where I sleep plus my body starts to ache I think in bed after working a couple days
@@switchunboxing I too don't normaly like the side that goes in but on the titan I don't feel any preasure, yes I feel where they are but the space of the chair is perfect :) and for your height I think it would be great. They suggest it for people of up to 6 foot 6 inches. Here is video from a guy (Stu) that is 6 foot 8 inches tall (if I remember correctly ;) his videos with those from Mike Wat are those that helped me choose this chair :) ) so you can see better how it would fit your head th-cam.com/video/cLBGKqcqJmg/w-d-xo.html and give you maybe a better idea on long term usage. Also unfortunately when you decide to order a chair from secretlab they are back ordered and right now the one I ordered Titan Fabric softweave Charcoal Blue is set to arrive by 11 november.
@@Feinhart that's odd, on their site right now it says the charcoal blue titan is the only one that's actually shipping immediately. But today I'm glad I decided to go to Staples and I sat on about 10 chairs. Even if I didn't know what I was doing, it let me find out what aspects I like and don't like. I haven't sat in a chair and actually a long long time like a decade and it was a $20 Walmart chair back then. No can-do on my old spine now. My neck is seriously messed up. And my shoulders suffer from squishing forward so my physical therapist has me doing exercises to pull back my shoulders because most people on this planet have an issue of pushing them forward. That's why the bucket makes me suspicious. Sadly I didn't fall in love with any chair I sat on today but I did realize I probably won't like these armrests. When I was sitting down I realized I prefer big puffy armrests where I can lean my entire body on it. If I wanna be in this chair for eight hours, I'm gonna have all kinds of different positions and leaning and just getting very comfortable in it. Seems like I would break a titan that way. But perhaps that wouldn't be good on my body and the Titan is good because it will keep me on a good posture. I don't know. Damn I hope their return process isn't too painful lol
I thought you had the Omega in previous videos. I’m 5’7” 160 lbs so the Omega is sized to me but I like the open seat of the Titan and built in lumbar adjustment. If I recall you were close to my size so what one would you choose? I’m assuming you like the Titan since that was in your video but thought I’d ask now that you have had them for a while. I have the money for either but it’s hard to decide without actually sitting in both. Thoughts? Great channel and content.
I already have the PU Titan but I’m gonna buy the Softweave Version as well for the summer. PU *reflects* the body heat and it‘s simply a catastrophe within any room without AC (german summer). Also I think/heard they‘ll drop more Softweave COLORS in the next future
Hey, im also from germany. Also no AC in my room, just a fan to cool me down. Did they softweave Version help much this summer? I want to buy a Titan for me and am not sure if I should go PU or Softweave. Probably Softweave haha An answer would be cool, thanks in advance :)
I'm getting the Softweave Titan 2020 for WFH thanks to this review, hopefully it doesn't disappoint. I was thinking of getting Herman MIller Aeron but I'm not that rich to splurge $1600 on a single chair, and I got bad experience with all mesh chair. Steelcase Think is my second choice, but for ~$1000; it looks pretty barren and constricted to office use only. This can be used (and abused) for other purposes like slouching, cross-legged sitting, power-napping etc. Really hope this works out since my back has been screaming for the last 3 months sitting in a broken office chair. If it all works out, I'll probably get the PU leather next for my office chair.
I just finished assembling my chair, feels a lot like building Gundam kit what with the pictorial step-by-step and parts fitting smoothly. It's just the parts are pretty heavy :) First impressions: this chair is built like a tank, the seat and backrest feel smooth and well padded. I love the invisible lumbar support and the width of the seat accommodates my wide hip and thick thighs (just like Noah). Also, I sweat a lot in the humid hot weather (again just like Noah hehehe). I'm using this right away for late night work, hopefully the chair lasts a long time.
@@dolyharianto Hi, can you please report as to how you are liking your chair? I'm leaning towards a Softweave too. I'm in Australia so it gets really hot and sweaty! Is it easy to maintain? Gets dirty easy or no? Does it stay cool? What's your experience so far? Comfort level? Good back and neck support? Look forward to your reply. Thanks!
@@LFiers unfortunately it's not as comfortable as I thought for long term work, maybe for gaming but not for typing. I bought Steelcase Leap v2 and it doesn't disappoint. You might want to try Aeron, Mirra 2 or Hag Capisco Puls if you can, all plastic material that can withstand heavy sweating. I use thin towel to cover my Leap v2 because I don't want it to absorb my sweat.
I bought the Titan PU Leather and after unboxing I had to ventilate the room. The chair had a VERY STRONG chemical smell. Is this healthy? I guess not. After 2 weeks of ventilation in the front of the house the chair still smells bad. Do you have the same experience? By the way: The Titan is the best office and gaming chair I have ever sat on!!!
I'm planning to get a secretlab titan, I'm living in a small room with window that don't have A/C. What type of upholstery you recommend for my environment?
its a singapore chair but im watching someone overseas review it haha. more informative than my local youtubers. i think softweave is the way to go in singapore because of the humidity and heat but i feel like it will be hard to clean and eventually the chairs will get dirt and dust trapped in the fabric. i have somewhat sensitive skin so i think in 3-4years, my thighs would probably itch just by sitting on them. whereas pu leather would be so easy to wipe down, but it is the same material that will get me sticky. argh the dilemma
@@moisdawg yea although i mentioned in my original comment that i have sensitive skin and might itch in a few years with the dust and dirt built up, i still got the softweave after trying both of them out. The softweave is just wayyy softer than the pu leather and that meant more comfortto me. Dont get me wrong, pu leather was also soft but just not as. PU feels like a newly bought leather sofa, and softweave like a spongy cushion
@@tenglei2 thank you! it seems like some people thought the softweave wasn't soft/cushioned/spongy enough, but that's just me trying to piece the comments together lol
Pretty sure the 'soft' part refers exclusively to the fabric not the cushion. I think both cushion foams are identical. That said I've only ever sat on this SoftWeave one that I own.
@LFiers I somehow clicked this video again, forgetting I'd commented years ago 😂. Sitting on it right now. Honestly, I think it's exactly the same as it was. There's hardly any wear on it so say it's held up great. I do try to keep it clean though and I'm lucky to have never had any bad spills.
Cool review I got the cyberpunk edition and it's very comfy the seat part is comfy enough but not so much that you sink tremendously. It's just the right firmness and soft enough to be comfy. You might get lines and creasing on any chair if your doing crossing your legs and squatting in it,you'll get creases like that with any fabric and leather. It's not made for that..it's made for sitting comfy in for gaming and productivity for work, not for sitting around a campfire. If your gonna use it for any other way other than sitting normal on it. Of course it'll prematurely lose its form..all depends on how you use it. We all sweat, but not sure it's entirely accurate that someone with a beanie on,wearing shorts, and a zipped hoodie, sweating on pu leather. Maybe if you tested with a baseball cap and a t-shirt on you wouldn't sweat so much?
@@milescatalan994 oh man that chair is amazing but it's crazy how the lumbar pillow helps the most haha..just a heads up that box is heavy I feel bad for the delivery guy that had to bring it to the 2nd floor of my apt
How is the chair holding up?? I'm honestly really torn between the Cyberpunk Edition and the Black Softweave...they both look so good but right now I can only afford one.
@@alexvswrld it's holding up good, I don't really throw my leg on this chair often, cause it's not a lounge chair. It's a work chair for me,. but to each their own. There's some creasing on the material but nothing crazy. It's firm enough for work but not soft either. To me it's just right to keep me working. The lumbar pillow that goes on the lower back really helps alot and super soft. Sometimes I wish the color matched everything else. I haven't used the head pillow often and don't really put this chair flat and fallen asleep on it. It's held up well.
Mike Wat love your videos dude! I have ordered a 2020 omega chair I’m excited for! Also some RGB lights for my videos. Like your style and humble fun approach! I’m currently just using an iPhone 11 for my content but am looking into other camera options that are not too expensive. What’s your option on a Logitech brio webcam instead of a camera? Is the canon powershot g7x an affordable way to go. I need a good quality close up camera as I zoom in on darts. Appreciate your thoughts and time.
Hi; great video thank you; quick question; i am 6ft and 159 lbs which one would be better for me (for lumbar support or in general) the OMEGA or TITAN? Thank you
Another thing to consider is if you have dust mite allergies or not. If you do then the leather option will be better for you, because the sofweave version will be full of mites after a while if you use it a lot. Mites love dark, warm and moist fabrics. Dust (human remains) will not pass through leather ;-)
That's a nice review. Just watched your titan vs omega video as well. Titan is definitely for me. My old DX race servedme well, but after 10 years it's time to change. (195cm and 110 kg) Also want to make a desk upgrade. What kind of desk lift do you use?
You didn't talk about longetivity of the chair.. In the long run the softweave fabric will outlast the PU leather.. PU leather will start to crack and flake off after a few years of usage
Are you sure? because on their site they say the PU leather is more durable and it makes sense for me. Im about to buy a chair but cant decide which1 to choose.
@@mehdinuri1409 it is the most common issue of PU leather flaking of after a few years. Lol whatever they say durable etc.. it's part of marketing. Watch more reviews of the same chair with PU leather and you'll know
I think my only option are the Softweave ones to be honest. I live in a country where its summer all-year long and it gets humid here unless I turn on my air-condition each time i'm using the chair.
THANKS I needed a rewiew just like that I wanted to buy a secret lab chair in the future and I wanted to know witch one is better I will choose... Leader
Been trying to get a softweave titan xl for months now but always unavailable :( definitely want the softweave though because I hate that sliding feeling in the leather chairs
@@melo3427 Well it is really comfortable on my back but it all depends if you like hard chairs or not really as I don’t so for me on it’s uncomfortable after long hours on my legs
Does anybody know what state this review took place in? I feel it'd be helpful to know how hot their summers tend to get and how cold their winters tend to get.
I live in Clearwater, Florida. Am I screwed if I get the PU 2.0, its what I'm leaning towards the most even though FL hot and humid as hell? I still like the soft weave though!

9:28 Best asmr i've seen all year
I love my soft weave omega y’all just like being negative. The chair is firm and soft at the time for good back support. I can sit and play for hours. I recommend them
Really love your videos :) and the fact that you show many different views of different peoples it's great :) I sub
Not sure if he still reads this but I think this video can work for any chair regarding the material, I am recently looking into a new chair for myself (not the secretlab ones) but I needed to know the difference between PU leather and Fabric and this video really helped me out.
Still reading :) glad it helped!
I’ve got the softweave charcoal and I love it. I haven’t tried the P.U.
Great video, liked having the two people in the middle of the video give their opinions of both materials.
Definitely going with PU after thinking about the liquid resistance. I'm a man... in-front of a computer.... yea i dont want to risk a stain from that.
Based coomer
Amazing Video!
It awesomely showcases every positive and negative aspect depending on different people.
Muchas gracias por la review, I was watching a lot of others reviews but yours was so much better, i'm going for the PU Leather, greetings from Costa Rica!!
They seriously need to make these chairs softer. Put a layer of something softer over the hard as a rock coldcure foam.
Not sure which is best suitable for me :(
Am enjoying your reviews a lot. And glad u brought in john and noah again!
Thanks. I'm the same size and weight as your brother and since he loves it, I opted for the Titan.
Great video. Really well rounded, enjoyed the perspectives of the two guys swapping to the opposite to what they had.
Great comparison video bro!
Wow you make great reviews! Keep it up
This video amazing! Def getting the XL
Although still debating on leather or fabric haha
Great informative video! Just ordered a Omega SoftWeave after watching your video
thanks for the sub buddy!
Unfortunately I found this video a day after ordering my Titan soft weave blue charcoal so I cant help on the link. I am glad I found this video though. It helped convince me that I made the right decision going with the soft weave option.
How do you like your titan softweave? I just ordered. Is it too firm or is it a good chair
This helps a lot.
u just earned a sub for producing quality content
Great video Mike!
Thumbs up :D
I would buy the Soft weave if it has a black and gold color that would look so clean but the Pu is great with the carbon fiber build it looks amazing!
Excellent comparison video! Answers the un-asked question about which material is better for the gamer who sweats a lot when operating their joystick - playing flightsimulators of course. 😏
Fantastic review. Well done.
Honestly the pet argument helps ALOT.
was about to buy a soft one but definitely gonna go leather so the titan doesn’t become a furr ball.
Good luck
Dude thanks for making this video! I needed this, been trying to decide if I want soft weave or PU leather. I’m going soft weave!!
Glad it helped buddy!
Mad respects here for being very informative in including the sitter's stats (height, weight, etc.), which goes a long way in helping us viewers make a decision. Thank you!
That ASMR at the end made my hands feel tingly lol
Great reviews on your channel. What does your brother think of the Titan XL size? Would he prefer the Titan or the Titan XL?
Got the blue softweave:) So fucking good. Went and saw a $349 random name chair at a store the other day and sat down.. So happy I didn't get some BS brand off Amazon or W/e. Def investing money in a proper chair.
thanks, bought the titan blackout. really happy with it.
I bought the softweave. No regrets. Good breathability. If I start getting warm I don’t overheat.
Icei I used a fabric office chair for nearly 20 years. Did not not smell terrible.
Icei I choose fabric for breath ability. I was sure that pseudo-leather would not feel good to me after extended sitting.
I was unwilling to spend even more for real leather.
Icei hope it works out for you! Should be great as long as you do not spill a lot of food and drink on it.
Thank you so much, man. It really helped me to decide... Keep it up the great content!
Softweave is better for people with cats as well if they tend to dig their claws in. Better some loose threads than holes lol.
100% agree
Does the PU leather make the chair a ton more firm (the seat and all) than the soft weave? Im hesitant that the chair seat and back with PU will be uncomfortably firm and not break in?
thanks for any insight
Wich one is softer??? Wich one is more confortable???
(And your 'Secretlab Titan vs Omega 2020 Series Size Difference - Find the BEST FIT for YOU!' pushed me over the edge into buying it, and choosing the Titan over the Omega though we're the same height. Subbed, keep up the awesome content!)
Liked your video. I found you looking for desks. What kind of lumbar support pillow do you use if you don’t mind me asking
Just bought the Titan softweave charcoal blue with your link to the titan :) I am really glad I discovered your channle yesterday :) and on the way to maybe buy a monitor like yours :) your reviews, videos and the way you show why you bought what you bought is a breath of fresh air thnak you congratulation and keep on the good work :)
Im about to maybe get that one but apparently there are rally good office chairs for 250. How do u like yours
Damn I hope their return process isn't too painful lol
used your affiliate link!
really helped my decision
both me and my brother bought a chair!
Thank you so much for making this video it really did help to pick with hearing both their opinions and sitting habits 👍
Brother John, soo.... which one is more comfortable?
I thought you had the Omega in previous videos. I’m 5’7” 160 lbs so the Omega is sized to me but I like the open seat of the Titan and built in lumbar adjustment. If I recall you were close to my size so what one would you choose? I’m assuming you like the Titan since that was in your video but thought I’d ask now that you have had them for a while. I have the money for either but it’s hard to decide without actually sitting in both. Thoughts?
Great channel and content.
What did you decide? Im having the same problem :)
Your are to short . Your feet dont touche the ground with the titan
But its your money dude
I already have the PU Titan but I’m gonna buy the Softweave Version as well for the summer. PU *reflects* the body heat and it‘s simply a catastrophe within any room without AC (german summer).
Also I think/heard they‘ll drop more Softweave COLORS in the next future
Hey, im also from germany. Also no AC in my room, just a fan to cool me down.
Did they softweave Version help much this summer?
I want to buy a Titan for me and am not sure if I should go PU or Softweave. Probably Softweave haha
An answer would be cool, thanks in advance :)
@@paulsaalfeld9844 Hi, did you buy the Softweave or PU leather one? How did you go with it?
@@LFiers I bought the Softweave. I like it. But no Summer, so I cant say something about that.
And I obviously have no comparison to PU Leather.
And?
Excellent video. I'll be coming back
I'm getting the Softweave Titan 2020 for WFH thanks to this review, hopefully it doesn't disappoint.
It's just the parts are pretty heavy :)
First impressions: this chair is built like a tank, the seat and backrest feel smooth and well padded.
Hello, new Fan here! I am currently 5'4 height , so is it the Small size will fit me? or regular one?
Great comparison, thanks much!
Thanks man another great video on the secret labs.
Glad you enjoyed it bud! :)
its a singapore chair but im watching someone overseas review it haha. more informative than my local youtubers.
i think softweave is the way to go in singapore because of the humidity and heat but i feel like it will be hard to clean and eventually the chairs will get dirt and dust trapped in the fabric. i have somewhat sensitive skin so i think in 3-4years, my thighs would probably itch just by sitting on them. whereas pu leather would be so easy to wipe down, but it is the same material that will get me sticky. argh the dilemma
did you end up getting one?
@@moisdawg yea i got the softweave
@@tenglei2 i don't live in singapore but i'm curious if you liked the properties of the softweave
Your set up looks cool. Whats your lighting like? I think mine needs work.
Pretty sure the 'soft' part refers exclusively to the fabric not the cushion. I think both cushion foams are identical. That said I've only ever sat on this SoftWeave one that I own.
My guess is that the material on the soft weave is a lot more flexible, making you be able to feel the foam more :)
@@MikeWat However it works its the perfect combination of support & pressure relief 😅
@@PongbyAtari it sure does ;)
Hi, how is your Softweave holding up so far even since you've had it?
Just ordered the cyberpunk edition as well. Appreciate your feedback. Excited for it to arrive!
Enjoyed your videos on the Secretlab chairs. What do you use to film your videos on camera wise?
Used the Canon EOS R on this one
Mike Wat love your videos dude! I have ordered a 2020 omega chair I’m excited for! Also some RGB lights for my videos. Like your style and humble fun approach! I’m currently just using an iPhone 11 for my content but am looking into other camera options that are not too expensive. What’s your option on a Logitech brio webcam instead of a camera? Is the canon powershot g7x an affordable way to go. I need a good quality close up camera as I zoom in on darts. Appreciate your thoughts and time.
Great video mate. Will go for the pu leather 👍
Great video, but put the music volume with one idea down, because your voice is the important thing.
thanks for the great vid!
Hi; great video thank you; quick question; i am 6ft and 159 lbs which one would be better for me (for lumbar support or in general) the OMEGA or TITAN? Thank you
Titan would probs work better for ya
@@MikeWat Roger that; thank you so much for getting back to me
Another thing to consider is if you have dust mite allergies or not. If you do then the leather option will be better for you, because the sofweave version will be full of mites after a while if you use it a lot. Mites love dark, warm and moist fabrics. Dust (human remains) will not pass through leather ;-)
2 years later this comment decided my dilemma for me, never even thought of it. Thanks man!
That's a nice review. Just watched your titan vs omega video as well. Titan is definitely for me. My old DX race servedme well, but after 10 years it's time to change. (195cm and 110 kg)
Also want to make a desk upgrade. What kind of desk lift do you use?
Hey buddy! I use a standing desk from autonomous, also made a review of that here: th-cam.com/video/bD2vEruYcIQ/w-d-xo.html
You didn't talk about longetivity of the chair..
In the long run the softweave fabric will outlast the PU leather..
PU leather will start to crack and flake off after a few years of usage
But he did tho
Are you sure? because on their site they say the PU leather is more durable and it makes sense for me. Im about to buy a chair but cant decide which1 to choose.
@@mehdinuri1409 it is the most common issue of PU leather flaking of after a few years. Lol whatever they say durable etc.. it's part of marketing. Watch more reviews of the same chair with PU leather and you'll know
@@tenandzen ya i know its a part of marketing thats why im researching everything, Thanks
Why is everybody using the word leather for it?
It's not leather, it's special plastic, that's all...
Really good review thank a lot.
the EFFORT!!! appreciate it
I think my only option are the Softweave ones to be honest. I live in a country where its summer all-year long and it gets humid here unless I turn on my air-condition each time i'm using the chair.
THANKS I needed a rewiew just like that I wanted to buy a secret lab chair in the future and I wanted to know witch one is better I will choose... Leader
Been trying to get a softweave titan xl for months now but always unavailable :( definitely want the softweave though because I hate that sliding feeling in the leather chairs
lol i be sliding out my leather chairs while studying
I have the soft weave omega and it’s like sitting on a brick wall
@@melo3427 Well it is really comfortable on my back but it all depends if you like hard chairs or not really as I don’t so for me on it’s uncomfortable after long hours on my legs
What about tue arm rest? Are they the same? Are they comfortable?

Does anybody know what state this review took place in? I feel it'd be helpful to know how hot their summers tend to get and how cold their winters tend to get.
this was in Vancouver BC - highest gets up to like 40 degrees celsius and lowest is -10
This is going to be completely off topic, but what speaker set up is your brother using? (with the center channel and all)
on the softweave chair can i spray it with crep protect to stop thee water absorbing
Great idea
Did you try to ask to their suport? I'm interested aswell!
Tere mius no not yet I didn’t think to
Are you going to review the new Pixel Buds?
Unless you can afford one piece leather, generally avoid any PU leather in general. It will inevitable flake. Period.
Is it worth it though for double the price? I really want to splurge and buy the $800 leather one but it just sounds like a crazy higher amount
They updated the leather and why tf would I pay so much more for a little different leather
I live in Clearwater, Florida. Am I screwed if I get the PU 2.0, its what I'm leaning towards the most even though FL hot and humid as hell? I still like the soft weave though!
