those tires are just pumping out the water! The challenge cars are always so special, they hold a place in my heart. And they got the v6 making beautiful music. You spoil us with amazing test days, especially on the wet/dry days..Out of the last hairpin and down the straight was a favorite of mine. The downshifts into the chicane at 4&5 and back on the power was also very beautiful. The way the car behaves out of 12 and into 13 & 14 was amazing . ( i think i got the corner numbers right?) TY @italiansupercarvideo.
Yes, you understood the number of corners perfectly; the Mugello circuit is a fantastic track in the middle of the hills, with its ups and downs like a roller coaster. I have to tell you that even in the Challenge version, the 296 is impressive; it's a speedy car. I hope to have the opportunity to film them again on a dry track and get a more precise idea of the potential of this new model 👍
I heard this car again in 2023 during the Ferrari World Finals, again on the Mugello circuit. To my ears, it sounds pretty much like the 499P LMH; it is, more or less, the same car: th-cam.com/video/tJqEP9w4RLw/w-d-xo.html
@@Italiansupercarvideo I think that's the peak F163 engine sound coming out from the 499P, the 296 is rather quite dull, the street version have way better tone
Indeed, especially in the GT3 version, Ferrari could have tried to create an exhaust system with excellent sound; among the other racing cars, it sounds like an electric car, its sound gets lost.
I agree with your words; the engines you mentioned are from another planet, especially the sound. I also absolutely love V12s, so you're breaking an open door, as far as I'm concerned. I didn't say that this 296 Challenge has the best sound ever; I said that compared to the 296 GT3, which has a disappointing sound, this one is better 👍
hmmm... if you're talking about the race version I disagree. With the right livery the 296 GT3 is one of the best looking GT cars ever made. The Australian GT livery that they had in this last race they just look like GT racing used to look like.

296 Challenge or MCXtrema soundwise?
@@timo7641 MCXtrema, without a shadow of a doubt, has a sound that is twice as beautiful and powerful, including bangs when changing gear.
@@Italiansupercarvideo guess we can expect good things for the V6 Alfa Stradale 33
@@timo7641 As this Alfa Romeo is a road version and not a racing one, I don't expect a powerful sound.
Yes! I can confirm this:) the 296 Challenge Sounds much better!

Ferrari top motor made Italy Mondial si migliorano sempre che bella e come canta questo🇮🇹V6 😍✊❤️💪✊✊✊
Devo dire che la 296 Challenge fin'ora mi ha fatto davvero un'ottima impressione.
now lets wait for 499P Modificata since it has the same engine as 296

Not impressed tbh. Sounds like most other v6 street cars. Turbo v6's just sound meh.
This is the turbo era. I'm a lover of naturally aspirated engines, I know exactly what you mean.

Das sind tolle Autos. Schöne Ostern! 🥰👋👍
Absolut. Dir auch frohe Ostern 🖐👍
Great
The 296 is a gorgeous car but the engine sounds awful. And its not because its a V6, there are some great sounding V6s.
Indeed, especially in the GT3 version, Ferrari could have tried to create an exhaust system with excellent sound; among the other racing cars, it sounds like an electric car, its sound gets lost.
Sounds Amazing and Look Fast.!!🤯🥰🥰
I disagree, it doesn't sound good. It sounds monotone and boring, it doesn't sing like the previous V12 and Flat 12 engines.

@@Italiansupercarvideo I agree and this V6 is turbocharged not naturally asperated.
Musica per le Orecchie ❤❤❤❤
Not that great.
Que jogo é esse? Não importa, GT7 é mais bonito 😂

I wonder how a V6 can sound this horrid.
It's a twin turbo V6 engine, it can't work miracles. I assure you it's not bad sound live.
