I’ve loved the Syntakt since you guys released it, most notably because it takes some of the best parts of other machines and combines it all into one. Thanks for this latest update!
@@cockur Not as much in their recent boxes, the digitone has largely remained the same except for features like song mode, they could easily add more sonic possibilities there and same with the model cycles. I’m glad they’re continuing to update syntakt though because it has the potential to eclipse the monomachine and become one of the all time best grooveboxes but as it launched it felt like there were big limitations like no portamento and being able to do supersaw sounds and more analog sounds is great.
All I want in the RYTM is the portamento function, but I'm afraid with the improvement in the analog parts of the Syntakt that feature will never get to the RYTM, but a man can dream.
Thanks Ricky! from Germany many thanks for you,re Turtorial Elektron is the best what i ever had .I love all Maschines from Elektron and you,re turtorial man ythanks for you,re doing.
@@vincent_us well yes, but you didn't clarify that did you. also you commented that on a demo of a machine, so logically you can assume you were talking about granular synthesis, rather than granular delay/reverb.
These things are on sale right now, and I'm broke. :( Elektron produces amazingly well thought out products. Glad to have Ricky show this off. He speaks "musician" which I really appreciate.
The most logical thing for Syntakt would be ability to sample analog machines internally. If I create great kick drum which will stay the same during performance, I would like to sample it, play it on digital track with Sample machine, and release that analog track for something else.

@@ronsone8373 don’t give up. We have to petition via the comments lol. That’s all I really want. I know Octatrack is still very popular but no overbridge is no bueno. great vid! possible to request a video? how about a video with Ricky explaining the Elektron LFOs/options, would be a great resource given its on basically all the machines

Elektron is there any chance you could release an OS update that adds some effects? Much as I love Ekeltron boxes, I can never understand why they are so lacking in common performance effects - chorus (Digitone excepted), flanger, phaser etc. Doesn't have to be a cornucopia of effects like a Roland box, but ~£900 it would be nice to have at least some.
Love your channel bro. Been a big supporter for a couple years now. I have a question I can’t figure out though. When you change your filter type between HP LP BP ect, is there a way to automate when those filters kick in? I think it’d be cool if part of my song started with a high pass filter then when I want a low pass to kick in to get that full sound. Is this possible on my Syntakt. I’ve even been struggling on my MPC as to how to automate when my insert fx kick in. Appreciate any help and always love brother.
Elektron are pushing a lot of melodic updates on their machines.... One thing that would go well with that is some longer patterns....128 pattern length pleasseee. :D
@@Claidheambmor How do you establish that it's subtractive? By definition, there is nothing in the DVCO/Raw in itself that constitutes subtractive synthesis. The only thing in the Raw machine that stands out to me is the noise level, so if you say they differ in "most" respects, I disagree.
I'm thinking of buying the syntakt, and at 0:16 it looks like you're using an arpeggiator while in all of the reviews they say there isn't one, is there an arpeggiator on the sytakt?
I love how much attention Elektron gives to these boxes post release. Keep the new Syntakt machines coming Elektron!!!!
Agreed!
Indeed, some more digital hi-hat and cymbal (or shaker) options would be my No.1 request. All of the cymbal sounds are way too harsh and metallic. 😢
Love to see Ricky demoing Elektron!
Ricky tell them that they should implement chorus effect to be available for audio input! Great video!
Great call hiring Enrique! Your updates to this new box have been impressive
Love this!! Makes the Syntakt a real keeper for those of us wanting to craft sounds along with rhythm

Bit of brightness for us today. Thank you Elecktron!
You are now with Elektron!!!!! Congratulations! It’s been awhile since I’ve tuned in so this was something I didn’t know 😃
I really didn't expect new machines to be added, this makes me VERY happy and I cannot wait to finish my shift and check these out!

Congrats

Congrats with new job Ricky!
Well, this is handy a year later for the Rytm 1.70 update... Nice!

Great update. Also there is supersaw as well. Now pass it down to other boxes please if possible. A4/Rytm need some love too.
