It was great to see Nat is better, but I think having a meal from a chippy is not the best idea after being poorly. You could have made her a lovely soup or a light healthy meal. Anyway, what did the potato taste like? apart from being hot you forgot to tell us, was the cajun chicken spicy ?
When my chronic pain is really playing up, and I can’t eat, I want safe food to restart my appetite, and chippy tea is safe food. Then the healthy food will follow.

Excellent dish Keith, can't beat chicken and rice, especially tumeric rice. Try this recipe for tumeric rice I got from a Malaysian aunty in Penang. Roast a whole bulb of garlic with oil in foil in oven for 35 minutes. Wash your basmati rice and soak for 1 hour. Fry a small red onion and add rice , roasted garlic bulb then tumeric, 2 whole red chillies, a Kaffir lime leaf, and a pinch of garam masala. Add chicken stock and steam 20 minutes. I add marrowfat peas and a beaten scrambled egg mixed with Maggi sauce. Dress with fresh coriander. Amazing

The chippie by me do those southern fried potatoes, saw some school girls at the bus stop while I was waiting for my bus and heard them say I hope they don't stop doing the southern fried baked potatoes. Never knew it was a thing till then.

In the NORTH We all call our meals Dinner and Tea and NOT the bloody 🙄🙄🤦♀️ Posh way round of Lunch and Dinner because it's Dinnertime and Teatime .. Simple as guys !

Hi keith and nat you get good portions at that chippy if nats is a childs portion i wouldnt like to see an adults one ,at the chippy i go i always get a childs chips and the portion is plenty for me .ive just comeback from paighton in devon and it has a brilliant chips dhop cslled scoffs and the chips have batter on i got a oap special chips fish snd a mug of tea for 7pound 45 pence so keith if you ever gho to paighton go into scoffs you wont be disappointed love fran xxxxxx ❤

Good to see Nat's on the road to recovery, fingers crossed. I'm like you Keith I normally eat one meal a day and a few nibbles. I thought that curry in the little pot was really expensive at £2.40, sod all in there. Loved the idea of the Southern fried potatoes though. 👍

Good way to ruin a wheel...you're not supposed to ride with a flat. I know what the purpose of your channel is...that prices today are through the roof and everyone's struggling...but have you considered how unhealthy these cheap foods are? How are they going to afford medical care?
