The food looked great, the pie 🥧 was packed to the rafters and the BLT, chips, coleslaw and salad also looked fantastic! You don't mind paying when it's good stuff 👍

The food did look very nice.
I would say this time next year with the way things are going, that the place will close down if their prices increase much further it's already too expensive a lunch for most people.

Pie of the week ... featuring "A really big sausage with fishy gravy and a small jumping bean". I tried to pick up the jumping bean but it was to wet and slippery. 😂🤣

a pie is actually pastry top and bottom and all around the filling....this is a steak filling with a frozen puff pastry topping.....i used to serve this in a pub back in the 1990's......but looks good.......nice one
I believe a pie dish filled with stew and pastry on top is usually called " A Hotpot"

That is not a pie it is stewed beef with a pastry lid and I hate them, a proper pie has a base and a lid

Nice to se you both out in the sunshine that pie looked so nice I before that stew had been cooking for a long time I love pie and mash Nat uour meals looked lovely too Keith it just shows what a god cafe it was cooking everything from fresh so jt was value for money it was my birthday last Tuesday and we went out for a family meal the was 9 of us and we went to a pub I'd not been in oh the food was home c ooked and we got really big meals me and my brother got gammon and it came with 2 eggs on it the gammon was as nearly as big as the dinner plate it was a bit more expensive than other places but it was value for money love to you both fran ❤xxxx ❤

you paid a lot for it so it better have a lot of meat in it mind she may have seen the camera and given you more
