Rajkapoor specially was paying respect to Mr. Mitra Masai,, great player as I heard him several times. He was done a lot of music with different class one music directors in Bollywood.

I love accordion playing - it is my 'obsessive' hobby and passion. I have played this number a lot of time but some of its 'cuts' I could never play the way the 'original' Shri Sumit Mitra , one of the greatest accordion players of India, has played . And thanks to You Tube - I have learnt how it was played by the great maestro originally. And I always thought that accordion in this song was played by another great accordion maestro- (late) Shri Goody Seervai ! Shri Suresh Yadav is excellent on saxophone and so are other artists. Great performance. Regards.
Sumit Mitra sir is very eminent musician , but credit should gone to greatest ever music Director duo Shankar Jaikishan , SJ did a great job to define what Raj kapoor the Showman is known to us ,SJ is the real emperor of music
What Raj Kapur did in films without SJ,and what SJ did in RK films and non RK flms is an open secret I think RK's role in the great SJ's music is irrationally overrated
