Thank you for this video. I need more help determining what the Elev Annotation Radius is about. If there is some detailed write-up about the settings under the new Contour feature that would be great. I am very appreciative of the fact the DJI has introduced this contour feature in Terra. Great job team.
Sure, so you can generate elevation points in a CSV datasheet format to annotate elevation on a topographic map. For instance, by setting the Elevation Annotation Radius to 15 meters in Terra, the software will distribute elevation annotation points across the map. Each point will be spaced out within areas defined by a radius of 15 meters, ensuring a comprehensive coverage and detailed elevation representation on the topographic map.
Thank you@@runli9269 for your reply to my posting. What would I do with the CSV file to get the contours annotated? Which utility would I use? Also can you shed some light on ... can the Terra new contour feature automatically put labels on the contour lines for us? That would be great if it could.
No, the contour is separate to annotated elevation values. You can however overlap contour lines, these annotated values, ortho, pointcloud using third party CAD software based on the need.
Very well Run. IF possible, and as a Suggestion for Improvement, please ask if the Dev team can automatically add the contour labeling in Terra. It will be greatly appreciated. I own licenses of Pix4D Survey and the same is being asked in the Pix4D Survey forum from them. And I am not a coder so I do not know about the technical challenges associated with making that happen but from an end-user point of view it will sure make my job easy. I like to get those files as soon as possible to my clients and a labeled contour map is a big step closer to the final deliverable.

Thanks for the feedbacks! I would make sure to let our team know
can i do a lidar point cloud using a dji mavic 3e?
