The hollow well I'll call him "White" to not spoiler anything will be explained later aswell as fully explained in 2nd season of anime.
Tite Kubo for the question about first guy who saw Byakuya's Senkei, in Klub Outside said that he cannot answer it there. There are few theories on Bleach reddit, so far it might be answered in 2nd season of anime, unless it will be in hell arc manga sequel (yes, not only anime but manga might get sequel too).
For Ichigo having the hollow powers, so far in anime it is "because" he almost turned into a hollow at Urahara's training (Real reason at 2nd season of anime).
The nobility is very different, some are "good" some are "evil", some answers for it are in light novels CFYOW.

Byakuya never said "he would only use one sword", he said "these swords will not attack you all at once".
The blades in the second form of Zembonzakura don’t attack all at once because it only appears when he wants to kill someone with his own hands up close.

As much as the fight was amazing, Ichigo *didn't* defeated Byakuya, he only made Byakuya realise his blade (metaphor for will) reached him
Ichigo outclassed him most of the fight including the ability to kill byakuya in the opening move the only reason he’s alive is that wasn’t ichigos goal
Even at the end ichigo still has his blade and could kill the blade less byakuya ichigo won on ever level multiple times

So I see both sides of the argument because on the one hand yeah I do think them trying to execute rukia was Overkill as it were. I also understand him wanting to obey the law because he's the head of that Noble clan.
Rukia giving her powers or a part of her powers to each Ichigo doesn't seem bad but the reason that law is there is because if it wasn't....
So do you remember the episode where the dude was a serial killer and ended up becoming a hollow and ichigo defeated him and he went to hell?
Not all humans are like Ichigo. Imagine if someone like that serial killer received the power is from a shinigami like a lieutenant or a captain. Not all humans are good. You can't just have powerful shinigami transferring power to humans at will. That's the reason why that law is there. Doesn't justify the rukia thing, but explains why that's a felony.

There is actually a reason why soul society persecuted Rukia for giving ichigo spiritual energy and it has to do with later arcs. Also Byakuya's clan is one of the 4 main noble clans. All 4 of the main clans are in charge of some type of duty given to them by the Soul king. Since it is not much of a spoiler at this point The Kuchiki clan is in charge of upholding the balance and laws of soul society along with central 46 and the gotei 13. With the exception of the 4th clan, Yoruichi's clan is in charge of guarding the Holy weapons granted to them by the soul king along with execution/espionage and the Shiba clan (Kukaku's) is in charge of assisting Squad 0 members & the soul palace. The last clan doesnt make an appearance until the light novels which now have an English translation, they are in charge of archiving information on everything.

Imagine you didn't know anything about Rukia. Imagine you just heard a story about the Soul Society. A girl in one of the richest and most influential noble clans blatantly and unapologetically broke the law, and then her brother, the head of that clan steps in to undo her rightful punishment.
I didn't want Rukia dead either, and I definitely don't agree with the law nor the punishment - but Byakuya doing anything, anything at all, to help her would literally be pure nepotism.
If you think a law is unjust, change it *before* you break it.

The point was that Byakuya, as a wealthy and influential person in the Soul Society is not in any position to interfere, without (justified) accusations of corruption and misuse of power.

About when ichigo cut through byakua sword: As you know, zanpakto has their own consiounsness and character. And Byakua's sword is some kind of samurai, so its not the Ichigo who cut through sword, neither Byakua let him cut. It was sword himself who decide that his owner is wrong here and not worthy to win this battle. Because there is no honor...

Not really ichigo had byakuya beat from the get go his speed decreased with time ichigo was generally above byakuya here as he only started to lose because his own power became to much

The thing there is, ichigo didnt break his sword but byakuya did let him win this battle because he deeply wanted to tell him the truth and stand to his old promise that he made to his wife to protect rukia, as you can see the sword didnt break but it scattered into the petals of senbonzakura, byakuya just lied to give ichigo the victory and left.

@@extreemechicken byakuya is way too proud to loose to a rookie human/shinigami... plus if he internationally broke his sword that won't character development for ichigo who came all the way here to save rukia(that was his goal in this arc) plus after this defeat byakuya got much needed redemption when he saved rukia... although that's how I view the story , you can have different opinion or viewpoint

Byakuya is an extremely well-loved character, and is also one of the best (if not the best) written and developed characters in the series. You will eventually see how much he has grown from this fight and how much of an impact Ichigo had on him throughout future appearances. You might end up really liking him later on like how you ended up liking Renji!

Go look at an actual swastika and compare the two images, you'll see his sword hilt symbol is in the reverse direction of a swastika which is the symbol for Manji, which is a good thing, only ignorant people think it's a swastika. Thats why one of the Pokémon Manji symbol on their stomach got censored out and removed in the US... to avoid comments like these

If I'm not wrong, soul reaper not suppose to let human know their existence, not to mention transferring power. Imagine transfer power to evil human and he start using tat power to do evil stuff in human world. I think they will explain this part later in the story...
