Excellent tips throughout your daily cruise experience, for viewers to benefit from. A positive tip is that It's really useful to know there is a drop-off suitcase procedure with Ambassador Cruises. A negative situation that unfortunately arose for you and you both informing that you had a destination services ticket arrival issue. This raises the point of guests not expecting that all companies are 100% efficient all the time and monitor, than presume they will arrive. It was good to see you both still had a good time independently for your day ashore. Seeing Cobh looked very appealing and one thing viewers all generally find useful, is any mention of public conveniences when you're off shore in any location that we take for granted on the British Isles that is not available easily overseas. We have certainly become more knowledgeable of how this cruise line operates and look forward to travelling with them for the first time, more so since viewing your really enjoyable reviews. We will also watch your Princess Cuise line reviews, this being another cruise company we are contemplating travelling with. Although changes can arise as time moves forward, it is always valuable to have someone else's experience to help viewers along their travel holiday choices for the best experience on any cruise ship, so thank you both and keep cruising . 🛳
Thank you for taking the time to watch. We are glad you have found some useful tips. Princess are a very different offer to Ambassador but we had one our best cruises on Island Princess. Thanks you
We had a great time. We did visit again last year. Here is what we got up to Our day of SHOCKS and SURPRISES in COBH on Island Princess - DAY 3 VLOG th-cam.com/video/646GbNsTVW4/w-d-xo.html
I have been on this ship a few times and always found the crew and entertainments staff most helpful and engaging.A small enough ship that you tend to meet the same people again and again. You produced a good honest review.
Hi guys, great that you visited my hometown. Cork has great history and there's lots to do. Do try and visit Blarney Castle, not just for the Blarney stone as the grounds around the castle are beautiful. There's so much other things to see in the city, but do visit the Titanic exhibition in Cobh.
@@TomandDomTravelIt is certainly true that my native Ireland is very expensive, as I find myself, when I come home from Manchester on the ferry from Holyhead to Dublin - what really drives me mad is seeing tourists and visitors to my home country being constantly ripped off, so where possible I do tell tourists about ways to avoid getting ripped off if I find a better and cheaper alternative 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪❤️
Titanic Exhibition well worth a visit in Cobh. Better than the big London exhibition, we felt. Also, Connie Doolans bar, where the last survivor of the Titanic used to drink and tell her tale.
Thank you for watching and sharing your tips. Titanic Exhibition is top of our list now for Cobh. We will certainly give the bar a try on our next visit as well. 🍻
Cobh (Cove) is a beutiful town I was there a couple of weeks ago....... You must visit the Titanic experience when you go next.... Also walk up to the Cathedral and Titanic memororial garden about 20 min walk..... The Bar under the Titanic experience is great for lunch and a pint.. :)
Another great video and yes you've convinced us to get on board. Just a few questions what decks with ocean views have the life boats obstructing the views? We are originally from the UK but long time Australian so probably will be the only Aussies on board I suppose. We are looking to do the May Iceland tour. Are the onboard tours expensive? Chers guys.
Thank you! You will have a great time onboard 😀 Deck 8 has the lifeboats, but right towards the front and aft you should be ok! You’d be surprised, when we sailed on Ambience there were a few Canadians! We found the excursions to be reasonably priced cheaper than some of the larger cruise lines 😀 Hope this helps!
Another great video. I see at the Buckingham restaurant you had a table for two - when I try on the website to state that as my preference, the only options are for 4,6 or 8 people. How did you get a table for two? Thanks
Thanks for you question, there are a few armchairs and one sofa to sit on in the library. They have a good selection of all genres as well 😀 hope this helps!
Yep, the Republic is a racket for the cost of living, and Cork is one of the worst 🙈💶. Im glad you found Pennys/Primark. Its an Irish business, I know theyve only been in the UK a relatively short time, but the North and South of Ireland, they've been about forever. Primark in the North and Pennys in the South. Dunnes is another brilliant irish business, you get some brilliant bargains in there.

I would have enjoyed Antons show, would have been great if he was there in person.
Hopefully he may make an appearance in person in the future

Kind reminder, if you have cruise cover on your travel insurance you can normally claim for any cancelled port visits.
Good advice 👍🏻
Dunnes stores is Marks and Spencers in Ireland and Spain
Great info

Thanks so much for this. I will be on Ambition in December so it will be good to compare :-) 3:35
Please let us know what you think of Ambition
I'm sailing on Ambition in December, I must remember to say "no gravy" to whatever I order 😂
You never know what you will get gravy with

Thank you for watching. The best advice we can give is to visit the restaurant asap when you board and speak with the restaurant manager.
@@TomandDomTravel thanks, will do
I am new to your channel. Looks fun
Thank you
Would you visit the library and check out the type of books there if there are certain hours it is open and how many seats are there?

More Irish adventures coming as we are back on Cobh on Friday. 😆
Brilliant, I hope you've had a lovely day guys.
