🤗🤗🤗. Leave it to you Rory and I’m certain your family too for coming up with such a unique idea that help so many people get through these hard times. I remember when Sesame Street came on PBS and wowed us mother’s who needed a great way to teach and supervise our little ones so that we could do some chores and complete them. Soon I’d be sitting as if on a break and watched what had my kids singing goofy songs and dancing with happy feet all day long. Always anxious for the next day and more lessons. So many people are fretting about having kids home and the parents are doing more work than the teachers are doing. I bet they’d be the first to sign up for the forgotten PTA meetings that helped the classrooms as More kids filled them up with no extra help. I hope this one seat fills up fast and what is taught in that One Room Schoolhouse is included in the younger ones curriculum. It may have more value in some areas than others but whoever thought that a show from the slums would capture so many back then. I’m certain there will be an extra seat for us older folks who love the memories we have of long ago and maybe we can learn some new things too. Sign me up and I’m willing to help if you just ask like I’m certain others feel the same too. The schools today need to sign up willing people to help tutor those in need or to give a hand to those families whose parents just can’t do it .....maybe cus they both have to work. That’s the direction our country needs to take with leaders putting out their hands too. It will work if we all quit complaining and do what you have done. Amazing!! This is just what I needed to see today. Outlook of the world has went dark for me as of late. But seeing this post has change me today. I have been a fan since the first time seeing you and Joey on the CMT Duets show many years ago. Since that time I have stayed tuned here and there into your channels and pages. Which this is not the first time that this 49 year old man has cried while watching/reading your post or videos. But today seeing the smiling faces of these small children along with the teachers, farmers, local "HEROS". Regular people enjoying life in a Old School 1 room School House in 2020. This is amazing!! I have a daughter that lives with CP and ID. We have homeschooled for the past 6 years and this will definitely be added to our mornings. Thank you, for sharing, and for taking this Global. So many people are now, newly anointed para-educators, the parents that have teenagers trying to help their kids get through school and College, advanced trigonometry, calculus, algebra, the sciences, subject-verb agreement, what a pro-noun or adjective is, a compound adjective preceding a noun, subordinating versus coordination conjunctions, when they only have an 8th-grade education themselves. The parents... God is saying, "Well done, My good and faithful servant" through my heart, straight from Him to you in this comment. If my old Gumby toy had arms that could stretch from Seattle to you... consider it done, times a bazillion. He is working through and for you. He knows the plans that He has made for you. You (and Indiana!) are both perfectfully and wonderfully made, He knows the very numbers of hairs on our heads (does that include a beard? 🤗 ), every cell of our bodies, and He cries right there with us when we shed every tear, 🎶 and for those tears He died. Hold tight to him, and keep on keeping on with Him, and for this new Season of your life, ok? Praise God! Just a little question? How do you keep the ick from spreading there, in the Schoolhouse? If 1 person comes into contact w 25 people in a given week, then shares those same micro air particles w 25 others, who Comes into contact w 25 others, Who come into contact w 25 others, who come into contact w 25 others... It's not 25 Plus 25 Plus 25 Plus 25 Plus 25, which equals 125, if just addition, right? It's exponential math, stats, pure raw data. 25 times 25 times 25 times 25 times 25... One guy was left w a $1 Million deductible medical bill. Youngest to die from COVID-19 in the United States w pre-existing conditions? 2 years old. No pre-existing conditions? 8.6.2020: 7 years old. Rory, my heart is breaking. Google anything I've written, ok? I am a no nonsense, facts, stats, data person, who is seeing one or more funerals down the road... originating from your schoolhouse...? Are you going to foot the bill for the deductibles? Funeral expenses? The loss of others' or your own child? My heart is with yours, my eternal brother in Christ, just as if I were holding and hugging you right now, hands held praying together on our knees, at the foot of the prayer Altar. Which child of His are you going to sacrifice to the ick? Your own, one of the parents of one of those kids, or one of the other children just to stay open? How do you get a "differently abled" child to wash their hands for more than 20 seconds? Who is going to sterilize the slide and/or other play equipment and other indoor and outdoor surfaces between each child? People are not to share any part of meals. What a dream come true! I’ve always wanted to start a school for kids who had a hard time “fitting in” your typical school and have it farm based with rescued animals where we could all rescue each other. A place where families could be involved in therapies that could help put them back together. You’ve created such a special place!

The parents...
