There is word that Jesse Johnson may B re-releasing this masterpiece of an album. I hope so, as this is a guitar masterclass of an album. If U like serious axe slaying, then get hold of this album
Absolutely a monster. I saw the Prince 1999 tour and the Time opened for Prince and that night after they did "777-9311" everyone even Prince, Dez and their die hard fans knew that Jesse Johnson was the baddest brother on guitar in that building on that night. He does not get the props he deserves.
I HAVE to get this album! Jesse can really rip on a guitar. Love it. This album is really rare and hard to find for digital download though. It is not on itunes and I don't trust the other sites I have found with my CC info. This sucks.
Record companies don't want Black rock acts! The only one I can recall who had a bit of success was "Living Colour" with their hit "Cult Of Personality"!

You should look deeper Michael. Yes Prince was rnb, but he was jazz, rock, funk, pop as well.
