Sigewinne is the newest 5 star character in Genshin Impact. She's a healer with some damage potential. In this video, I showcase her with the Recurve bow and with many different teams. I also discuss her viability with Furina and in general.

Exactly,that would have been amazing,for example she provides bond of life when full hp or ho when there's bond of life.
There won't be any healing mechanic without clearing the bol first, for obvious reasons.

That's what I was expecting. That her heals could bypass the heal limitation of bond of life since they werre hyping her as a good support for Clorinde, hence probably to Arleccino too

Ya know what would make her good? Make her a support that increases the max HP for all characters in the party based on her max HP. I think that would fit well with her lore.

You know what would make her good? If she fit her niche. She’s a healer. Does she heal? Yes. Does she heal A LOT? Yes. So.. how is she bad?

because when you only have healing, then even if you heal 90k it won't matter since your characters are already at full hp
baizhu provides a shield and dendro application
kokomi provide aoe hydro application
kuki provides aoe electro application
bennett provides atk buff
yaoyao provides dendro application
mika provides physical dmg buff and normal attack spd buff
xianyun provides plunge attack for everyone and plunge flat dmg buff
though sigewinne provides off field skill flat dmg buff, it's only 10 per skill cast and it gets used up very quickly, she applies mediocre hydro and her burst deals no damage

Pull for her if you want to have fun trapping monsters with her little water bubbles. We don't care if she's broken or not, as long as you have fun with te caracter, it's the most important! Genshin Impact will always remain a very bad and boring PVE game anyway.

@@malvoleus i'd like to remember that diona gives 200em on c6, can give 100em 20%atk with elegy, enables melt, can reliably use instruc or nob, reduces stamina costs, cryo res, heals and shields (thats 420 em + 20% atk on a shielding healer). diona is way above qiqi level

I went for Furina's C2. Increased her damage by at least 57% from C1.
And now my Itto team reaches max fanfare dmg buff by the time I switch to Albedo after Gorou. From full health.

@@jwff7000The difference is Dehya is designed as a standard banner character upon release and she still got a signature set, but Sigewinne is true limited (I’d say every true limited is STILL decent overall at worst) and struggling; if she doesn’t get a fix or an arti set to compensate, this marks the downfall of mihoyo’s QA/care about their character design and will only get worse from here for future characters

Also I'm really getting annoyed at Hoyo putting nice looking special animations (or even special mechanics) into things you literally *never* use .. Yoimiya CA, now Sigewinne CA. Plus we just got Sethos with a cool mechanic and animation that are essentially useless (or so I hear - not building him). I'm sure I forgot a bunch of other characters like that.

Sethos mechanics at least aren't entirely useless, especially if you get his cons. This sigewinne CA is 100% useless
Xiao's normal attacks look freaking awesome when you use his burst. It's unfortunate you have to plunge if you wanna deal any damage whatsoever
Sethos CA is useable for clearing out weak mobs although loses to his burst playstyle in terms of overall team damage unfortunately. Which is weird because both of his passives are focused around his CA only for it to be outright worse than burst + NA until C6, where he gets a free energy cost CA that can also be used before his usual burst rotation.

What a great video! Anyway, still pulling my last constelation of Furina, she's been sitting at C5 since november and I'm finally able to get her C6. I started saving for her when she was leaked all the way back in February 2023, so this 16 months journey is finally over xD (For anyone curious, of the whole Fontaine cast, I got C6R1 Furina and C2R1 Arlecchino, skipped the rest)
Furina C6 is absolutely insane and about as flexible/futureproof as a character can be, have fun :D

Already pulled her and got her to level 90 really fast. Very informative vid, but I never follow the meta to begin with and I'm never looking to do meta damage to enemies honestly so I don't really care if I'm disappointed in her power/kit since the enemies in the game will go down eventually. She already does a good job for my hyperbloom/vape/freeze/melt teams and I just slapped Kokomi's artifact set in her instead. I'm gonna be getting her weapon too for the additional HP boost and maybe her C1.

It's like EVERY PART OF HER KIT is purposely made to be bad.
-has special charged atk, it scales off of atk
-can apply hydro, but barely
-skill can trap enemies, only two enemies and for a short time
-holding the skill increases dmg and healing, by an insignificant maount though
-can give herself bound of life, but she's a healer
-can boost other characters skills, but only if they are off field and only 10 times
Evey single part of her kit is a "can do this but not really". One more character to the list of the worst designed characters together with dehya and alloy
the only reason she can give herself bond of life is for her signature weapon. Which is another note in the book of asshole design in making weapons way too specific for their respective characters.
The worst part about all this is that I've been looking for a character that can make my furina play more comfy. A team wide skill based healer since I lack baizhu. I was like "surely we'll get a newer version of baizhu eventually"
And then we get this... am I really going to have to pull for this?
literally her only redeeming factor is the added damage giving furina a 10-20% bonus. And her comfy team wide healing. As a 5 star I'd expect SOME kind of interesting mechanic besides just "oh makes furina teams heal easy". Honestly her C1 and C2 should have been part of her base kit.

I already pulled for her before watching this video, and i thought she was great. I like the fact that recent healers can do more than just simply heal, and imo her buff is great even at lower HP than i saw on the video. I already have C6 Furina as well, and having her skill do more dmg is satisfying to me.

I don't think she's terrible but her use cases are very slim. She's basically locked to Furina teams in situations where you happen to want an off-field hydro healer instead of a dendro one (Baizhu) or an on field one (Kokomi). In most cases either of those two will slot in naturally already so it's only some specific teams where she would find a new role, but there are a couple situations where that'll happen. For example if you want to play Nilou teams with triple hydro then Sigewinne is the only good option as you only have one dendro unit and that's on field Nahida. Can also see there being some new quicken team variations including her that didn't quite work out before. If you use characters like Yae or Fischl on top of Furina then they'd both benefit from her elemental skill damage buffs too (albeit use up the stacks faster).
Still, a very skippable and niche character. Feels more like someone that'd be nice to have around on an account just in case you end up in a situation where her specific niche seems wanted, but you'll surely always have a pretty easy way to get around it anyway.
she's not essential in furina team. Even dori is much better chara imo

she is the kind of character when you use in early game. she feels op for clearing mobs in camps and her heal is incredibly convenient to use in overworld combat (unlike kokomi)

People who pull for her already can 36* abyss no problem and just want to have fun, otherwise this little girl brings little to no value on any teams that “require” a healer. Hoyo made Sigewinne and said 5% Meta appeal/95% Visual Appeal.
Isn't it weird how they sometimes give support characters a dmg dealing burst for no reason? Baizhu, for instance, also has a team-wide heal on his E but his burst has a refreshable dendro shield niche and some more healing. Why not give her a supportive burst too?

For me heal is meta, so when Furina came, I started clearing Abyss with Koko Furina team, adding Xingqiu or Yelan just makes it more fast. But really, I don't need any other buffer or healer for now, for hydro atleast. I guess more cyro and geo healer buffer are needed.

Calling people insane for liking meta is the crazier deal. Let people do their own thing, geez.
Players who see discovering the landscapes and lore of Teyvat and the stories of their favorite characters as their main end can get annoyed at people who seem to only judge the game (or characters) for combat. I don't have anything against people who want to see big damage numbers, even if that's not what I like to focus on. However, I feel that people who ask for "end-game" or "hard" content while playing meta have an easy way to solve their problem: just go off meta and take off artifacts. Then you can make the game as much of a challenge as you want.
