    I am 34 years old and jumped out of the boat 2 years ago and tore up a ligament in my knee. I second the steps 100 percent. I can’t believe I never thought to put them on until I did.

      It’s so simple you never even think about it! Now I’ll never own a boat without one!

      I tore my ACL jumping out of my Allison onto a concrete ramp. My knee was repaired but still swells 5 years later....get a set of steps...

    You said let me know what you think so here it is. # 1 on your list is the only thing on your list that should be on a top 5 list. The steps work for everyone. # 2 not everyone has a jackplate. # 3 is a gizmo and a dual console ends that location. #4 is brand specific #5 I can't remember and if I go back I might loose my comment. Change the title and you're video is golden. edit: #4 was foot pedal for bare feet. Never in 40 years of fishing have I. So...and #5 was brand specific. Any way I am going to look into those steps because I'm 50 now and they look very handy. I already have that same transducer mount on my jackplate. So good call for those with a plate. Here's my top 5. #1 toilet paper. #2 Change of clothes. If you s*** yourself or fall in. #3 Small basic tool kit #4 extra fuses. #5 jump pack. P.S. #6 Not everyone has the room for this but I carry A pop up poop tent In the bottom of the huge center box of a 521VX. Pops up and fits perfectly on the back deck for those days when the biscuits and gravy just aren't sitting well. So if you see tied off plastic Walmart bag with something in it laying on the bank, don't pick it up.

    That is NOT the TH Marine coolfoot! Central Coast Bass Fishing invented the coolfoot (trademarked) in 2005. TH contacted us in 2014 to buy our Hotpads for their foot throttles and decided to copy us instead. You are using a fake coolfoot!

      @@MattBeckerFishing I believe they are low water anchors. I looked around yesterday and found something similar. I've never seen them before yesterday.

    I paused and stopped watching when you said 5 must have for boat and number 1 is for your trailer. Just saying.

    The paw paw steps are a must have. Age has nothing to do with it.The first time you hit that concrete boat ramp you will see the light.I caught my toe on the Lowrance and it was over. 😄I would also add the TH Troll Tamer to the list.

    • @MattBeckerFishing
      @MattBeckerFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      You got that right! Concrete doesn’t give!!
      I’ve got the Troll Tamer as well!

    Great video ! Just subscribed. You should do a video about your tackle storage and garage. Those never get old to watch and I think everyone likes to see how all the different guys came up with their systems.
