Ciao.
PS: in sintesi , erano solo piu economici i Breda.

Hello from America. It was wonderful to see that the work of building steam locomotives is very similar all around the world. And that the same work is still needed to repair them is still in existence in 2021, for locomotives used on special excursion trains. But the several differences are: in America and Britain and other countries they use Fractional measurements, however in many European and Asian countries they use Metric, thus, the USA track is 4', 8&1/2". Then Italy it is 1435mm. Also there are narrow guage tracks, in USA with 3', and many European track are 1 Metre. And many others. Also the engineer/driver/ mechanistic, MEKKANISTA,....AHHHHH!!!!! OPERATES the 🚂 locomotive on the left side, or the right side. And, the locomotive in your video is called a 2-10-2 SANTA FE-type in the USA, that had become a very popular type in 1916, then 1953 with the Greek locos built by Breda. And in the 1980s with the Q.J. class built in Datong, 🇨🇳 China. And several have been exported to the 🇺🇸 USA, like number 6088 that is running occasionally on the "IOWA INTERSTATE RAILROAD" in the Mid-Western state of Iowa in the farming area that grows 🌽 corn. And, I have seen vintage photographs of the Italian steam locomotives that use the Special "FRANCO-CROSTI" type of boiler, when the hot gasses from the coal fire, pass through the superheaters, and exit out through the chimney located back nearby the firebox. This kind of loco was seen in the 195s Hollywood movie called "VON RYANS' EXPRESS" with Frank Sinatra". Please take ❤ care. GOD BLESS YOU, IN JESUS'S NAME, BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, 🙏 AMEN.

One significant difference in construction technique is that by this time, the US had been building locomotives on one-piece cast frames with integral cylinders for about 25 years. These locomotives were constructed on fabricated frames, riveted and bolted together and the cylinders and the saddle were individual castings. These locomotives, Hellenic State Railways class Μα, were the largest locomotives ever used in continental Europe. 2 remain in existance, one at the station of Rouf in Athens and the other neglected and rusting away in the old freight yard in Thessaloniki. They were built as war reparations from Italy to Greece. I saw one running light through the Larissa Station in Athens in 1970, while on a visit to Greece with my grandmother. I was 13 years old. I never got to hear their whistles until stumbling upon this video. What a pleasant surprise to find that they were equipped with chime whistles instead of the peanut screamers that were very common throughout Europe.
