    what's great about the cast of Seinfeld, is that they own those characters. truly each actor shows pride. even the writers and producers. everyone involved was meticulous in their craft. it is exemplary comedic genius on all levels. that is why it has stood the test of time. there will never be another show like it. the actors were all perfectly cast and blended together so well. ❤

  • @TheBockenator

    A buddy of mine in college reminded me so, so much of Kramer. He'd come over to the apartment at the most random times as if he lived there, you never knew what he was going to say or do next, he always ate my food, and he'd get into the most bizarre, inexplicable situations (good and bad). He even had another set of friends I never met. I always felt like Jerry, sort of watching the weekly spectacle unfold and occasionally getting wrapped up in it...
    We all need a Kramer in our lives to keep things interesting. 👍

    • @Slig1977
      @Slig1977 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've got an ex gf who was just like a female version of Kramer. Did all the same shit your college buddy did and more. "Ya sit around here all day, you contribute nothing to society!" Meanwhile she was unemployed and living with her mom. She'd dump me, a few days would pass then "PLEAAAASE!! I TAKE IT ALL BACK!! I LOVE YOOOUUU!!!"... She didn't steal vinyl from any old people but she did steal records from her autistic roommate (when she did move out of her mom's) only to pawn them off on me. "WE GOT AL JOLSON HERE! AL JOLSON!!"

      The show worked cause you had 2 stand ups writing it, one starring in it, just a simple guy with comedic skills...2 strong actors, George and Elaine, and the physical comedy of Kramer. Okay, if we're all talking about fave scene of Kramer, is at the 17:34 Mark when he starts drinking the beer in a glass mug and smoking a cigarette at the same time, then burping loud after he looks pensively calm at the other actor with no excuse; is pure comic genius. Thanks for keeping it on film to show us his physical gag comedy!

    • @dreamabyss5423
      @dreamabyss5423 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      He did that in the spur of the moment of the scene without preplanning it. I saw an interview with the actor who played the scene with him and he said that Michael was just supposed to take a drink of the beer. Instead, he chugged the whole thing and burped the smoke. The expression on his face after he burps is pure comedic genius.

    Im 31 and remember at times when I stayed up late during the week when my brother was babysitting me watching them with him. I obviously didn't understand what I was watching I just happy to be up this late. later when I was about 16-18 my brother got all the series on dvd and he was watching it again but im really watching for the first time from then I was hooked and immediately got the humor. I appreciate now for what they did for future sitcoms. I live in the UK which it wasn't that big, I can get because it got shown late but when I make references to it, such as daily life of 'nothing' such as I have a friend who dances the way elaine does … cant hit a beat. its because I get it and love it soo much I would show a clip but because I think it was so unappreciated or maybe over shadowed by brit comedy I find it hard when they either don't get it or because they haven't heard of it dismiss the comedy genius that the show is. this is my appreciation from over the pond to one of the top shows ever. I love it and I still cant stop watching and finding it hilarious, purely because it was life and real to a degree and most people can relate to it , either if it strikes the same opinion about a scenario or its happened to them. I appreciate my brother for bringing it to my full attention.

    Kramer was always my favorite character in Seinfeld, and always will be. Michael Richards brought something to that show that I think made it as great as it was. If not for him and how he did that character, I don’t think the show would have been as big, as funny, or as legendary as it became. Larry David and Michael Richards were the real components that made it so great.

    • @gutenbird
      @gutenbird 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael Richards certainly was a great part of the show but take out George and you pretty much don't have a show. Take out Kramer and you still do. Not as good but you can't still have something. Kramer removed the tension George brought into the room. But without the build up, the Kramer character wouldn't be as funny. They worked great as a team.
