Wow high quality voice-work, very nice and professional sounding (but I do miss your accent a bit). This seems like a guide you'd pay for, I'm impressed. Great information too, I sometimes get tunnel-vision and forget to maintain LoS with my supports.
Haha "compliment-bouquet", never heard that before. Took me a second to understand. You deserve every petal, can't wait for the next guide. I'd love to see advanced juking/evasion or some kind of "mindgame" guide if that's something you'd consider.
Seriously, I've watched many tips, tricks and training videos for overwatch. Even by the "pros". But this is by far the most enlightening video I've come across. Finally, someone who doesn't just say "You should use the high ground" but takes the time to explain why. Well done my friend. +1
I love how this is common knowledge in theory but a ton of people don’t take it into consideration. There’s a lot more to it than just "don’t go behind walls" but this video really made it simple to follow.
Nice video, just one tip: When you're bringing up bullet points on the screen don't write the actual whole sentences, only write keywords so the viewer can follow more easily.
This channel is amazing and insanely useful, especially after having a good bit of time in-game without much help. I can instantly see mistakes in my play, and habits of others' that I probably never would have figured out and need to personally adopt. Your voice was great btw, your English is fantastic. But I thank you for giving us Nathan's awesome voice, I am very good with understanding accents, but I had to rewind a lot because you have to give so much information in a concise time. Please don't take offense haha. Again, such an awesome and professional channel, extremely useful information and great editing. Definitely subbed. Keep it up, I'm a fan!
Wow, this is actually one of the most helpful guides that I've seen for Overwatch! Time and time again, I've heard that somebody should work on their positioning if they want to get better, but I've never actually been given a good explanation of what good positioning actually is. This should help quite a bit for when I start to learn Ana (or play any healer in general). First video I've seen from this channel and it's already made me sub. Time to binge-watch a bunch of the other guides that you guys have made, I guess!
Information Quality: 10/10 Voice, Video, the simple but good editing: 10/10 I never clicked the Subscribe Button so fast after one single Video Lets just hope you keep that Quality up :)
This is a perfect video for someone like me. Constantly getting a lot of eliminations means nothing If I also died a lot and ended up losing. Enjoying every video you guys made.
I really enjoyed what was covered here but can we get an Los guide with Flankers like Genji and what we should do at the beginning of a team fight and when to retreat, etc. Oh, and I loved the new voice!
Great video. I tend to heal more than anything else, and in my experience 95% of the time someone complains about not getting healed it is just that I physically cannot heal them due to line of sight. A lot of times, not getting healed is not a problem of the skill of the individual players (whether tank, dps, or heals), but rather a lack of coordination between all players. If you are someone who doesn't heal much, you have to understand that if a healer puts his/herself in a bad position to keep you alive, they are usually punished and die themselves, ensuring the team fight is lost. With all of that said, dealing with flankers is a separate issue and should be communicated by the healer BEFORE they are dove and dealt with as a team. Remember that keeping your own healer alive is just as valuable as killing the enemy healer. =)
That voice is so unique that I honestly thought that It was just one of those text to speech voices but good quality. edit: It kind of sounds like the voice of McCree and Winston combined :)
There is one rather major flaw in your suggestion of keeping FoV on the highest possible setting; the setting alters the percieved depth of what you’re seeing, so setting it to a value far from what you’re accustomed to can actually *worsen* your gameplay, as the altered depth will clash with your reflexes and intuition
This is a really good guide. Even as someone who has hundreds of hours in competitive, and have really good game sense, this is good to prioritize this knowledge. I wish I could've known this when I was rank 30!
Fantastic. I'm primarily a support hero and I have to constantly tell other players that they're out of my line of sight and I'm not going to risk myself and the team by chasing a diving Winston, rein, genji because they decided to dive without saying shit
Great video, really well produced ;) I love the examples with chubby characters on the maps, and I can imagine how much work that takes to do, great work guys.
Newer player to Overwatch here, but this video needs to showed to every player! There’s nothing worse than playing a support hero and having a teammate go crazy cuz they weren’t healed when they flanked around behind the enemy team as Mccree without assistance and got melted.
I'm 98.75% positive that D.Va's ult requires LoS as well, since you can hide behind something as simple as a lamppost and still survive. Thought I would mention that since you didn't include it in the list of LoS abilities towards the beginning of the video.
Todem high risk/low reward tactic, take Gibraltar as an example, you are set up on high ground with rein/bastion/ soldier you are ana, you have a pharah and genji attacking the flanks, genji drops LoS by going around the left flank (defensive right side) and he gets in trouble, it would be preferable to let the genji drop than to maybe save him and expose your only healer and chance losing her, the outcome of a 5v6 with a healer depends on your teams skill, a 5v6 without a healer depends on the enemies skill. now that being said lucio and possibly a mercy (with good awareness) can put themselves in potentially more dangerous situations to support out of position teammates due to their mobility, but the onus is on the dps to be in a position to be healed and not the other way around, this affects tanks to a lesser degree as they potentially create safe positions for support to move into to maintain LoS. Tanks create positions behind them, supports make those positions sustainable, if you leave that space, you cant expect heals.
ok dudes, huge improvement. sounds and looks professional now. I could only suggest less plain text, more visual examples. also info\second ratio is just too quick, I have to pause a lot, which is not good. reading massive text from screen is heavy burden, i've got this at school enough already, right..
might be a bug on xbox but "blizzard" is not a line of sight based ultimate ability I've been frozen through walls and floors when it was on the lower or higher level of the building
In regards to this voice actor, everything is awesome except for one little detail: the enunciation on many word endings such as "ing" and words that end in "s" and "t". A little bit more focused dictation on those words would be the kicker. Still A work, 99% :)
Wasn't expecting you to reply, glad I was able to reach you. Just stumbled across the channel and this was the first vid I saw. Very good voice work, like I said. Keep it up :)
Golden 1984 I doubt it. We get less settings sadly. But we still have the ones we need. But I guessing it's default all the way wide. We're getting new crosshairs setting once Doomfist goes live tho.
Everyone please note this only applies for people if your sr is under 3500(for console that is) as the meta/playstyle for master and grandmaster games is far different
i need to copy this video's link for all the pharahs saying i'm not keeping up when they suddenly drop behind a building, so i can't fly to them, and for all the flankers complaining about no heals when i give them a zen orb and then they run away out of los before it finishes healing lol
thank you I play Ana people get mad that I don't run up there just for them to boost or teleport and ditch me in a battle. line of sight I heal from the back.
Overwatchdojo what pisses me off is the people that jump while I'm trying to heal them or the ones all the way behind two walls across the map yelling I need healing. so you want me to run down there die and still hear complaints about being died when you could've just stayed in line of site and received the healing you need. also why is Ana the only sniper not able to grapple or get up high.
The original voice actor is also the one creating most of the content you see in the episodes. Doing research and trying things out to compile it into an episode. :)
I wish the whole Overwatch community would watch this because too many times I get my team running around like headless chickens, then blaming me for not following them to their death.
This is so perfect because his voice sounds like Winstons so it's like Winston is teaching me how to play the game better
Lol
This mans voice acting is top notch, and works really well with the excellent content!
Thanks, dude :)
Wow is he is real Iostux?
Aggro players breaking their own LOS then wondering why they didn't get support... so true.
:D happens a lot..
Wow high quality voice-work, very nice and professional sounding (but I do miss your accent a bit). This seems like a guide you'd pay for, I'm impressed. Great information too, I sometimes get tunnel-vision and forget to maintain LoS with my supports.
Such a nice compliment-bouquet :)

I see you everywhere!
Yes, I know you've watched a lot of guide videos. I saw that before :)
Lol I'm such a guide addict. It's unhealthy
I like the new voice but damn I need to stop the feeling that you're trying to constantly seduce me lol
:D And you like it?
hawt
i feel nostalgic. his voice reminds me of those old animal tv shows from discovery channel. wildebeest adventure and stuff.
Nathanael Platier OMG HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Nathanael Platier I would pay you for some co-op videos of some sort. This isnt my main channel btw
Seriously, I've watched many tips, tricks and training videos for overwatch. Even by the "pros". But this is by far the most enlightening video I've come across. Finally, someone who doesn't just say "You should use the high ground" but takes the time to explain why. Well done my friend. +1
Thank you, dude :) By the way we also have highground video :)
This guy sounds like Winston lol, gg
Nobody said that until now :O
Overwatchdojo didn't know winston has youtube channel
I love how this is common knowledge in theory but a ton of people don’t take it into consideration. There’s a lot more to it than just "don’t go behind walls" but this video really made it simple to follow.
I feel like I'm watching a job training video.
Jarrett Martin do true..
Nice video, just one tip: When you're bringing up bullet points on the screen don't write the actual whole sentences, only write keywords so the viewer can follow more easily.
you sound like my public speaking professor
This channel is amazing and insanely useful, especially after having a good bit of time in-game without much help. I can instantly see mistakes in my play, and habits of others' that I probably never would have figured out and need to personally adopt.

Production value is top notch! Great video!
Best Overwatch Guide I've ever seen! And the voice actor... great work.
Thank you, dude! :)
Bro, you have the most soothing voice i have ever heard. Awesome video. subscribed.
Wow, this is actually one of the most helpful guides that I've seen for Overwatch! very informative, well organized, and well illustrated. looking forward to more top quality guides like this one!
The quality of this channel just keeps going up!
Thank you, mate :)
This is my first video from you guys, and it's very helpful and informative! Will watch more.
A amazing explanation ,seriously i won't find anything better .
Thank you, mate! :)
THIS IS THE CHANNEL I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!!!
:) Welcome here!
this is my first time watching this channel. and ireally like it. its really proffesional and informational
Information Quality: 10/10
Voice, Video, the simple but good editing: 10/10
I never clicked the Subscribe Button so fast after one single Video
Lets just hope you keep that Quality up :)
Huh, wow. Thank you :)
This video is the best general positioning guide I've ever seen.
Huh, such a nice compliment, thank you!
I really like the new voice!
Nathanael Platier damm your voice doesn't match your face
This is a perfect video for someone like me. Constantly getting a lot of eliminations means nothing If I also died a lot and ended up losing. Enjoying every video you guys made.
Really appreciate! :)

Nice video! good quality, good voice actor and sure the info is very helpful
This is a really good guide. Even as someone who has hundreds of hours in competitive, and have really good game sense, this is good to prioritize this knowledge. I wish I could've known this when I was rank 30!

they way this dude says "sight" at the end of a sentence is so calming I could sleep to that voice
These vids are amaizing, keep up the good work
Thank you, dude!
I want this guy to read me bedtime stories
Great video, really well produced ;)
I love the examples with chubby characters on the maps, and I can imagine how much work that takes to do, great work guys.
Thank you!
Bro you can become a therapist with that voice
:D good idea!
70 points away to master dude i was plat last season and i improve so much because of your channel thanks a lot
Just keep it up! :)
*most habilities need to have los on enemies in order to work* well.... that doesnt apply to hook 1.0
Newer player to Overwatch here, but this video needs to showed to every player! There’s nothing worse than playing a support hero and having a teammate go crazy cuz they weren’t healed when they flanked around behind the enemy team as Mccree without assistance and got melted.

When i have 103 fov, often I can hardly see the enemies if they are too far away. I dont know if this happens to everyone. I have 100 fov know.
Really not used to the new voice @_@ but it's great :D
1:45 the way he says torbjorn reminds me of that Onio meme (the guy who says onion ''Onio'')
hes a good tip if someone breaks out of line of sight, move where you can see your allies. last time I checked supports can move
For supports, make sure you don't stay too far back. When you get dove, call it out so your team can turn around and dispatch the enemy flanker.
Yep, you are right totally! :)
Great new voice for the channel! I have a request though, could you maybe do a Winston impression whenever you talk about him?
I love this videos i learn soo much and in a friendly way for begginers thanks :)
The pleasure is ours! :)
This is really concise and very informative. Ty
The pleasure is ours! :)
ok dudes, huge improvement. sounds and looks professional now. I could
only suggest less plain text, more visual examples. also info\second
ratio is just too quick, I have to pause a lot, which is not good.
reading massive text from screen is heavy burden, i've got this at
school enough already, right..
Just found this channel and I love the content... and your voice 😄
Thank you, just check all videos :)
Overwatchdojo I will!
Holy.. This is so good.. Nice vid.. I don't think you can change the fov on console though..
Thank you for the feedback! :)
I feel like this guy is about to tell me about an old animated movie "just released from the Disney vault"
Goob job! :) Keep it up!
Why do I feel like I went into work and watched an annual corporate video?
And you enjoyed it? : )
Is coaching available for consoles (PS4)?
I'm just going to point out that the default FOV is 103 not 100, I never changed that setting and it always was on 103
Can't mei's ultimate freeze you even if you're out of LOS? Or is he just talking about the little projectile she throws?
Really good tips guys. keep up with the good work. I see you all legends in the ladder, bye bye
: ) bye
I couldn't pay attention to the new voice, reminded me of the OSHA videos I have to watch in lecture.
might be a bug on xbox but "blizzard" is not a line of sight based ultimate ability I've been frozen through walls and floors when it was on the lower or higher level of the building
Dudes voice is god like in this video.
the voice like Winston if his voice was a tad higher. But advice is solid. will start practising.
Will putting my LOS on the maximum setting cause my game to drop in framerate?
such a good vid thank you
The pleasure is ours! :)
For some reason I love your voice
sooooome?
In regards to this voice actor, everything is awesome except for one little detail: the enunciation on many word endings such as "ing" and words that end in "s" and "t". A little bit more focused dictation on those words would be the kicker. Still A work, 99% :)
Wasn't expecting you to reply, glad I was able to reach you. Just stumbled across the channel and this was the first vid I saw. Very good voice work, like I said. Keep it up :)
He sounds like McCree
It's good voice acting but I preferred when it felt more natural
Imo this is much professional
You have a nice and very clear voice, but I agree. If you can sound a bit more natural / casual I think it would be better.
New voice is great!
You should narrate crime documentaries with that voice.
Can you adjust FOV on ps4? I cant find the setting anywhere..
Golden 1984 I doubt it. We get less settings sadly. But we still have the ones we need. But I guessing it's default all the way wide. We're getting new crosshairs setting once Doomfist goes live tho.
i love the narrator's voice.
Damn bro you got some pipes! Get in radio or voiceover asap.
Can i chance the line of sight on consoles?
Everyone please note this only applies for people if your sr is under 3500(for console that is) as the meta/playstyle for master and grandmaster games is far different
You are right, meta is different in different leagues, but the rules and basics are the same.
well done. Great video.
Thank you, dude!
Are you the guy who narrated Magic's Secrets Revealed with the Masked Magician?
Exactly! :DDD
i need to copy this video's link for all the pharahs saying i'm not keeping up when they suddenly drop behind a building, so i can't fly to them, and for all the flankers complaining about no heals when i give them a zen orb and then they run away out of los before it finishes healing lol
thank you I play Ana people get mad that I don't run up there just for them to boost or teleport and ditch me in a battle. line of sight I heal from the back.
Sad story for me also :/ *Ana main here*
Overwatchdojo what pisses me off is the people that jump while I'm trying to heal them or the ones all the way behind two walls across the map yelling I need healing. so you want me to run down there die and still hear complaints about being died when you could've just stayed in line of site and received the healing you need. also why is Ana the only sniper not able to grapple or get up high.
you are right, even on high SR-level a lot of players think that always the supports need to find the LOS :/
Overwatchdojo any advice for someone who has no group and keeps losing sr because people refuse to work together.
with lucios new aura outline i can see it through walls, but i havent noticed if it still heals through them. so it doesnt?
You can see through walls? : ) it is weird..
Overwatchdojo yeah, if a teammates playing lucio i can see the outline of the aura through walls, idk if its supposed to be like that lol
New voice is nice, reminds me of winston
the thing that bothers me is when I have perfect line of sight but I get no heals.
Nice video!!
Thank you!
Since there was a new voice actor what are you going to do now original voice actor?
The original voice actor is also the one creating most of the content you see in the episodes. Doing research and trying things out to compile it into an episode. :)
Thanks man :D you guys make the perfect duo for me to get better at the game! Keep up the good work!
Content-writing, private coaching and so on, so on..Like until now : )
This voice is so beautiful :3
Zens ult is los in the circle you cant heal people behind walls even if your in the circle.
Meis ult and soldiers biotic field are area of affect not line of sight
Please check for yourself, they are line of sight. Throw it on one side of the wall and stand to the other side.
great video
Holy shit this is eye opening
:) thank you!
You sound like Sojiro from Persona 5...
May I stay in your attic?
Nathanael Platier
I beat it Twice. Hell yeah...
I cant find the option ... Is it even possible on ps4 ?
The option for what exactly?
Overwatchdojo for the FOV :)
I wish the whole Overwatch community would watch this because too many times I get my team running around like headless chickens, then blaming me for not following them to their death.
You are right unfortunately :( Just link this video in every competitive matches :)
Can't keep... Stressing...
Voice-over... Too... Silky... Smooth...
That rein gameplay at 3:40 is so painfull to watch as reinhardt main.
Join our discord and send us VODs or you can be "body-actor" : )
awesome vid
Is it the same guy? or new va
New one :)
"Los based abilities"
All primary and secondary fire from every hero.
Uhhh, what about genji's fan?
Well it is LOS based, it just has a travel time. It needs a clear path to the enemy right?
Being pedantic, but a note for the future. “Line of sights” should be “Lines of sight”
