I've played both the piano and the cello parts, so I've listened to almost every recording one can get their hands on. This is arguably my favorite recording so far! Sounds the way I imagine it should - not easy to do with this piece. Thank you for sharing!!
This is a truly incredible video. I have a wonderful recording of the Arpeggione with Yo-Yo and Emanuel Ax. But Mitsuko Uchida and Yo-Yo together and so young ... obviously having a blast with each other ... Thank you so much! If you can somehow get the video for the rest of this performance, that would be wonderful.
