Great video, you showing the comparison of the different systems was very enlightening. Others should take heed, and adjust accordingly. God Bless from TN.

Learning more about effectively planning guilds. How are the bird, toad, wasp, etc. Populations this year in your area to help with keeping the population in check?

More wasps than usual but everything else seems about par.

well done, you have it going on out there for sure. How did the walnut trees fair ? Spraying there?

The walnuts took a bit of damage but they are well established enough to survive the onslaught. The grasshoppers have thinned out but still present. I'm hoping another hatch doesn't occur. 🤞

I am working on my guilds, my biggest issue is with our lack of rain in the summer (zone 6, 3000 ft elevation, arid, 30% humidity in the summer); comfrey is doing well, lots of grasshopper damage right now…. I’m having trouble finding other supportive plants that can survive the weather and not require a lot of water…we are on a low production well….help!!!

Water is certainly key for most plants. Finding drought resistant plants that will thrive in your zone may be a challenge but most certainly a number of plants will do well. There are a number of articles suggesting different plants to choose from. Here is one such article to get you started www.bloomingbackyard.com/drought-tolerant-plants/
