Erika and I have been living a keto lifestyle for over 2 years and lost over 200lbs together. We feel so much better and love our keto life now. We would love to hear your weightloss story. Make sure you let us know in the comments.
I'm starting my keto journey. I need to lose about 180 lbs, so it will be hard, but I feel very hope because low carb is definitely the right path for me, I'm pre-diabetic and want to be healthy.... Also I'll complement with intermittent fasting. Wish me luck 🤞🏻
Just discovered your channel, so happy I did! Sick of watching American keto channels as we have none of their options. I’m loving all your Aussie supermarket videos thank you so much ! Keto is truly the only thing that truly works for me, appreciate your content . X
Just adapt. I am from SE Asia (Singapore). I kept it simple. I knew it would be difficult or expensive to get eggs from free ranging chickens, non-GMO food, grass fed beef, or even kale. I try not to eat like the rich and famous when they go on keto. Lol. I knew that if I found it to be a chore, I would give up on keto. So I just ate what's easily available here. I don't look for kale but just look for whatever is leafy and locally grown vegetables. I eat meat without bothering about it being grass fed beef etc etc. I even eat canned sardines and tuna VERY OFTEN. No problem. My BP is at excellent levels. I also have learnt that cancer is not due to canned food but sugar is the food for cancer cells. I basically stay away from sugar and high carb food. By the way, I don't even bother to measure. Just stay away from sugar, carbs and starches and you don't have to measure quantities.
I love how respectfully you treat each other, there are a few other TH-cam keto couples who could take a page from your book. (Peter’s wife using his tablet.)
Picked you guys up by accident while searching woolies and coles for low carb goodies, as you know not a lot out there for australian KETO, mostly u.s.a. vids . Ive only being doing keto for two months but feel 30 years younger, iam 61 now and wished i found this LIFESTYLE a long time ago. Ive always ate veggies and lean meats but never lost any weight and could not understand why so hard to get rid of some kilos, then i found DR ERIC BERG, and then the penny dropped..! SUGAR. FULL STOP. I wish G.P.s would get up to speed, i had two stents in 2014 and the diet they put me on was 35% carb and lean meat. and cut back on snacks..!! Not to much talk on the sugar side..!!!! Love your story................
Thanks Andrew. I know how you feel. More GP's are coming on board, but they are definitely a minority. Congrats on your achievements. Glad you stumbled across us.
Thank you so much, I was diagnosed three months ago as a type 2 diabetic.Watching and learning I have lost 49lbs. And no longer a diabetic. Keep up the great work, you beautiful Angels.
KETO ROCKS and you guys are the PROOF! So far 2 months in we are down a combined 59.8 lbs on our Keto Journey, thank you for sharing, new sub here, we blog every Saturday here on YT.
*Your weight loss journey is truly inspiring, and it's amazing to see the transformative power of the keto diet in your lives. Thank you for sharing your remarkable achievement!*
New subscriber from Perth, Western Australia the lucky state lol. So good to see Aussie girls doing a Keto video. Hope to get motivated and give it a go. Well done on your weight loss keep the video coming!
BRAVO GUYS!!..Your turning point story about 'The stroll that nearly killed us'!!!..had me LMAO!!..In all you guys are informative with your Keto content..bloody entertaining to watch aswell..AND AUSTRALIAN!!..Im having a TH-cam marathon with all your UPLOADS!! ..CHEERS! 🇦🇺👍😄👏👏
I needed this! As you know I have been watching you for a while now. Last September I left veganism and began Keto. I lost 3kg in about 6 weeks. But my husband was still vegan and we were fighting so much over food. We agreed to compromise but that literally meant that I went back to eating lots of carbs! Then Christmas came but thankfully I never gained any weight at all. I never lost either! It is back to Keto for me, I’m tired of aching joints and being hot and sweaty in my fat summer clothes. Thankfully my husband is happily eating meat again so I feel like nothing can stop me doing what I know is right. Thank you ladies for being so down to earth and genuine 💕💕💕
Thanks so much Jacqui. Thanks for keeping us updated on your progress. Each time you start again can be the time it lasts forever, just keep coming back as many times as you need to. Glad you don't have the vegan battle with the husband at the moment. Things will work out.
YES YES YES! The very first thing I noticed even a week or so after starting keto was the lack of pain! I work nightfill so its a lot of heavy lifting and repetitive work, I'd go home in agony. Back in agony. feet in agony. When I got home it would take me at least 2 hours before i could lie down in bed without pain, only to wake up with joint pain and an aching back. Now, NOTHING! No pain. If nothing else, ( I have lost over 20kg in 6 months so far on keto) just the no pain is worth it. I've been trying to find aussie based keto channels so i'm glad I found you two.
Wow, what an excellent outcome. I agree, it must be so worth it for you to not feel pain just from doing your job. Keto has been a godsend for us with the pain relief. Glad you found us.
Wow wow wow the joints when getting out of bed is exactly what I experienced and I had only lost maybe 5lbs. Good stuff and congratulations from Kentucky, USA.
Wow you guys are awesome! Loving, caring, informative & real. Really enjoyed your video & so glad to see people from Aus rocking it. Well done! Definitely a loyal follower here :)
Gday ladies. Oh goodness you're so lovely and I love your videos. I've wanted to start keto for ages but dont know where to start lol. DietDoctor seems like a good place to start. Well done on your weightloss. Keep the videos coming xx
Hi there, I am from Sydney, you guy are lucky that you are doing Keto together. I have been on keto from the 1st of December last year . Just on my own. I have to cook for my two boys and a husband normal meal “carbs and everything else “ It wasn’t easy to be honest but I had to do something to loose weight. I was 112 kg and today I am 85. Still need to loose more weight. My goal is to reach out for 60 kg. I know I can keep going with keto. I don’t eat any processed food, bread, pasta or rice and also no take away food. In my opinion, as long as you know what you want and where do you want to be , just stay focused and don’t stress. Love your short videos.
I just love you guys. I watch you pretty much every day. I started keto a few months ago and have lost 14kgs. I feel amazing. I walk every morning. I also found drinking keytones a added benifit which has improved my health even more. Even better they are an Australian owned company which is even better. They are called keto Switch. Don’t know if you’ve heard of them or not but they are amazing. I also stay under 20grams of carbs a day. But thanks to you both I have been able to find and try so many products that I wouldn’t have known were out there until I accidentally seen one of your videos and from then on I have watched you everyday. So thank you so much and please keep doing your videos. Xx ❤️ Kyli
I'm about to start keto myself. I have PCOS and have struggled so much with weight tried low fat diets, low calorie diets ect and non worked so I'm hoping keto will be my key to success
Hi ladies.. love your story and so glad to have found your aussie take on keto. I've been keto since July 2018 and lost 25kg so far. I'm angry i didn't find keto earlier and wasted so many years fat and sad but this is my journey and obviously this is the time! I'm travelling overseas in a month so will be a challenge but I got this! xx
Hi Simone, Wow, well done. We find it hard to not be angry too, but are so happy we found it as it changed our lives. We will also be doing a fair bit of travelling this year. We plan to vlog our trip to Denver CO in March. Our plan is to show you how to travel and incorporate a keto lifestyle.
I just discovered your channel yesterday and I love your videos. thank you so much for sharing your journey - what an encouragement! I began my keto journey in late January and I can't ever imagine going back to a high carb diet. Blech! Congratulations on your success with keto. I, too, noticed a drastic change in joint pain after starting keto. Looking forward to binge watching all your videos!
Thanks girls you are my motivators.. at age 70yrs my dr said cut out carbs .. thanks now I’m going to follow you too.. type 2 & diabetes is hereditary.. bring on those recipes 💕💖
Love following you both... I’ve been on keto for 6 weeks and enjoying it however I still have joint pain cannot wait for things to improve more. Regards from Newcastle NSW
everything you said has been my experiance, except the bit about periods lol... I gave up dieting dubbed all other diets torture diets, so after watching Fat Fiction It made scence. Ive lost 24kg since Keto change and never been hungery, never worked out eather but energy gains mean that now i can mow the lawns in one go and not have to rest... Thank you for confirming for me that this is helping my life in the otherways, I too noticed better sleeping pattern , lower blood pressure, better joints, clearer thought etc.. also im not as irritable as i used to be.. Good on you for posting keep it up love your content.
You are both amazing! I have watched the transformation and admire your strength and courage to pursue what is right for you. Keep on with your endeavour. 👏Cheryl
You guys rock, all your videos, lives and posts have helped me so much, i was just low carb to start with back in Nov 2017 but then when i found you guys i decided to go more keto cause my weight loss had pretty much stopped (lost 20kg) and i was starting to feel defeated and down again. Since i started following a more keto lifestyle i am feeling better again, not sure if any weight loss again yet will find out in a few days. So thanx so much for your support and helpful tips, look forward to what is to come on this awesome keto journey. going to post this on challenge page too
Thanks so much Tammy. We love hearing stories like this. You have been doing so well. Congratulations on successfully moving to a keto lifestyle. Weight loss isn't everything, but it's nice when it happens.
Great video girls just found your channel.wanted to do Keto but felt alone as most on you tube are American.looking forward to all the recepies.Good on you.
Enjoyed this story very much. Thanks for the inspiration. I am ten days into my keto journey (lifestyle) and already feeling a difference within myself.
I’m binge watching you; you guys are adorable; I remember my epiphany too, trying to tour Washington, D.C. and wanting to die! I also Do have diabetes, unfortunately! Do everything in your power to keep it away! Keto is first diet the weight stays off and I’m satisfied.
Well done girls 👍 Proof is in the pudding, mainstream dieticians really need to look at this who still go around beating the “eat less exercise more” drum. The fact is you can’t outrun a bad diet and nothing is more effective than Keto when it comes to weight loss.
Hi Dan and Erika you both look amazing! I started on the keto journey just about a month a go after seeing my friends loosing heaps of kg following the same diet. Got a bit lost at the beginning don't know where to start so I did a bit of research and googling and that's where I came across this channel. I love it especially the keto products you recommend and what's available in our local supermarkets and stores online. Luv you guys can't wait to watch more of your videos 🥰 keep it up xxx
I agree with the changes of the body. I usually suffer from insomnia but after cutting down on carbs and sugar I have restless sleep or can stay awake after midnight now I need to go to bed before 10pm. Also another thing I noticed I often have dandruff or dry scalf I've tried all the medicated shampoos on the market and spent lots of $$$ but nothing really worked for me. After a strict Keto diet believe it or not I no longer suffer from dandruff 😊
You guys are awesome 👏🏻 such a great honest, down to earth couple. I'm only days into full Keto and absolutely loving it. I have lost 82 kilos since Jan 2018 with the help of RnY Gastric Bypass surgery and now want to shift the last 20 kgs to get to goal. Your videos have been a great help to me so thank you 😊
Thank you for sharing, really inspirational. I have been doing keto only 3 weeks and I love it. I have health problems so I need to do this. I love your recipes as well, your channel is really good and is helping me. Bless you both
i too have tried everything even had gastric sleeve i lost over 50kgs and put 30 back on after allowing carbs back in started keto on 1st dec 2020 and have lost 12.5kgs so far
I'm enjoying your videos. You two are such a positive, fun couple! Wonderful that you've enjoyed extensive travel too. I'm curious~ What type of work you both do? KETO ON! 💪
it was a Tuesday actually 😂 I love hearing stories of the keto lifestyle change, keeps me motivated as I'm losing weight quite slowly but it's only early days so I just tell myself I could be them in 2 years time!
Thank you so much. Erika I am you. The physical pain in my knees, ankles and lower back is horrible ,the blood results are the same as yours with me having pre diabetes and not fitting into plane seats. I have just subscribed to your channel and love the realness of it, there’s no mumbo jumbo .I am going to give this Keto a go. I am 40 kilos over weight and getting larger as I age. I also can not put my socks on without a struggle and feel generally yukky. I have just found out I have sleep apnea and have a machine but you both have given me hope cause everything else I’ve tried has made me fatter after not being able to maintain the weight loss. ❤️Nelly.
It's such a familiar story isn't it? Thank you for your support and we believe in you. You can do it. If we can, anyone can. It can be a bit overwhelming at the start, so please feel free to email us and ask any questions you might have. We are happy to help.
Absolutely love your videos. Can we also say how beautiful and clear both of your skin is? Magic. I’m off to binge watch more videos lol I’ve started my keto lifestyle again this week. I feel amazing while eating this way.
Hey guys, can you do a comparison on the artificial sweeteners like stevia vs monkfruit vs splenda etc etc etc? Love all your other comparisons as they're really helpful. Love the show and stay safe.
Thank you both, I’m looking to start at the end of the week, I’m just researching what to do and what not to do. Thanks so much and I’m so very happy for you both😀💕new subscriber in Tasmania😀💕
Thx Ladies I really enjoy your videos and was nice to hear your story. I have been on keto since Oct 2018 and had minimal success as far as weight loss goes but I cant walk so Im thinking exersise or lack of is the issue. I track everything and keep within my macros. Also - I WONT GIVE UP . Thx again you really are inspirational
You "normal" people are just great. 🤣 My daughter & I've been living keto now for 2 weeks and are doing well. She falls off now and again but gets straight back up an moves on. I think I've watched so many keto vids and have managed to meal prep and do the shopping list without too many problems. There's 4 of us in our house, my daughter and her 2 teenage daughters and me, oh and our dog. I do 90% of the cooking and mostly cook the 1 type of meal with a few extras like potatoes and sweet potatoes for the girls who have threatened to move out if I try to feed them cauliflower anything. 🤣🤣🤣 They are coping. Thx for all your info as it's been hard to find Australian info around. 😻
Wow, thanks for sharing your story. It's definitely a learning experience. We try our best to provide good Aussie content. I can tell you our 15 year old Nephew refused to his Mum's cauliflower bake but loved ours when we served it and even went back for seconds. You will never change a teenagers mind, they have to figure it out for themselves.
Thanks for sharing! Just found and subscribed to your channel. Any before and after pics to share for inspiration? My weight loss hase been very slow but I love feeling better.

Thanks for your video's me and my wife are starting keto in a week or so...absolutely scared but excited. Hopefully it helps with my endometriosis aswell
It can be a little scary, but it is well worth it. If you or your wife have any questions feel free to let us know. You can always email us at info@havebutterwilltravel.com
That one is your call. We still have pepsi max on occasions. It might be easier to keep it in while you transition and focus on removing the carbs first.
I have been eating keto for a year now and pretty much at my ideal weight but I watch keto videos to keep the motivation going and I've always wanted to see more women talking about it. Glad I found you guys. Maybe come to India sometime and do the most difficult keto travel you ever have?
love it. My daughter and I started on a Sunday. We stumbled across Keto on TH-cam on the Friday, we watched more vlogs on Saturday and on Sunday morning had bacon and eggs for breakfast, no toast. We are in week 3 and excited. p.s thanks for your supermarket videos, they have helped us out heaps.
You are such a beautifully supportive couple and it is a joy to see! I have tried Keto and liked it but the first few days are killer and have returned to carbs. Do you both think about doing a transformative challenge like in this video again? This video is very inspiring.
Hi Ladies, I have just started keto and am a new subscriber, so I was wondering did you track your total daily carbs/ and or net carbs along with protein and daily fat intake on an app or did you just focus on the carbs when you started out on keto? I am using the Carb Manager app which is great but am curious as to your opinion as well on this ? Cheers Sue , keep up the great work 👍 thankyou
When we first started out we mainly focussed on carbs. Then once we were a 6+ months in we looked at tracking other macros too. I think starting with just carbs is the best option.
Thank you so much...everything food wise is it America...now I have Australian food...I haven’t started keto yet...I have type 2 diabetes and have to check with my doctor first...I gave up smoking...put on weight and got diabetes...so now I am hoping to do keto and lose it fingers crossed...I hope you do recipes you make it all seem so easy and less confusing...will follow you.
started last sept 1st. weight loss has been slower then most i feel but have stuck it out 12kg loss. i have PCOS so still on the pill and i take a cholesterol pill which is not a stain. i am thinking of stopping the cholesterol pill first then the pill but i used to have so much trouble with my period to point of not being able to get out of bed. but i know other women have had success with keto. thanks for sharing.
Hi Belinda, Things like PCOS can definitely slow down the process, but it definitely sounds like you are on the right track. I'm sure you are working with your Dr. So well done.
thanks guys my dr is only going on my weight loss and loss of cm's thinks its great but not sure she really understand how it really works. oh forgot to say i am in Adelaide. thankfully i have a/c Thursday was not fun. did you guys get the heat wave your way i don't really watch the news??
What a delightful couple you are! I very much enjoyed the whole video. I laugh when you said you HATE doctors as that too is my opinion. I recently went to a doctor because I'm running out of breath and strength. A half a block walk to my friends place would have me puffing like an old steam engine and my legs would be as weak as... “Well,”, the doctor said, “..you're getting old, Bud!”. Really??? Wonder what his first clue was? I'm a 77yo, pretty active, my weight is not a problem (67kgs) but I'm loosing my stamina, big time.. So, rather than put up with my doctors pithy comments, I decided to do something about! This year I've started fasting with the objective being autophagy (self healing). I've now refined it to once a month where I do a 72hr fast. The first 48hrs to a “Soft Dry Fast”, the next 24hrs is the re-hydrating stage where I sip water carefully. I count that as a 24hr water fast. Ok, the point behind this background is that I read somewhere that if I go onto a keto diet, I'll get into the autophagy stage sooner. I've been studying keto diet and while some foods appeal to me, others don't. Like I've got an 80yo cake recipe penned by my grandmother. There is no way that I'm going to stop baking that! Similarly, I like oat portage and stewed fruit in the mornings. It's quick, it's easy, it pleases my pallet, and I'm out the door quick-smart. I find nothing in the keto diet that could be a reasonable substitute. I'm not really into cooking. My goto meal is a can of soup with a handful of frozen vegetables throw in. And a couple slices of bread (naughty me). IMHO, the best I can do is lean heavily in the keto direction, where possible, and make up for my lapses with the 72hr fast. Thanks for the video and, like someone else said, it's so refreshing to hear an Australian point of view. I'm tired of the Yanks gung-ho presentations...
Thanks for sharing your story girls! As Dan said, it's a very familiar story for many, myself included. Would love to know, how Erika learned of the Ketogenic lifestyle for her to come home after visiting the doctor and announce, "we're starting Keto on Monday!" Did the doctor tell her about it? I started seriously eating this way 1st August '18 and had lost almost 14kg as at the end of December. Pretty slow loss, but there was a cruise and Christmas during December. Hoping to have a good loss this month. As you know, I managed to get my husband on board as well as my sister. My sister and I have been heavy most of our lives and we had started to think that's how it was going to be forever and the day. My sister and I are going to Spain in September to walk the Camino de Santiago - an almost 800km walk from the French side of the Pyrenees across northern Spain all the way to Santiago de Compostela. We are giving ourselves 7 weeks, hoping we'll have spare days for some other sightseeing afterwards. The more weight we lose the easier it's going to be. Not so sure how we'll go sticking to low-carb while away, but will just do the best we can. Love your work girls! Keep it up.
Hi Kerrie, We probably started more low carb for the first week or so, as we had heard of diet doctor and had tried his meal plan before. We roughly knew about low carb and that morphed into keto really quickly. I think we found the 2 keto dudes and that is how we progressed. You have done so well and I love how you are spreading the low carb keto love as you go along. Wow, the camino is going to be quite the trip. Losing weight and being fat adapted is surely going to help. As always, thank you so much for you support.
Hey Tammy, we like this one - www.fatforweightloss.com.au/macro-calculator/ We have a getting started post on our website too - havebutterwilltravel.com/what-is-this-keto-diet-all-about/
just hearing Erika say she had lots of tiredness and pain, I wonder if she has ME/CFS Fibromyalgia? It can have loads of symptoms, the pain brain fog etc. Not many doctors know how to diagnose it, seeing a low carb doctor will help. I have it, as soon as I went keto the symptoms started to go as well. Also I had a lot of puffiness, which has now gone, but I don't eat any sugars, including fake sugars as I think they still cause inflammation and they fluidy puffiness. Also I can't eat nightshades of hard cheeses. Keto is good but there maybe other food intolerances. I also drink bone broth and do bone broth fasts one day a week and that has helped gut health and sleeping, anxiety, hope this helps
Hey, I’m doing keto im in my second month and loving it 😁 I feel good much better and lighter. Do you have a Facebook page I can follow along? Do you have any tips for eating out?
Hi Brea, Here's a link for our facebook page - bit.ly/2TCHuT9 We also have a post about eating out, here's a link for you - havebutterwilltravel.com/keto-travel-essentials-series-eating-out/ Hope this helps.
Just watched this video. Back on Keto the past 2 weeks. Which Keto are you following? I’m from Florida. Trying hard to get back on again. Trying Dirty, Lazy Keto this time. Hoping this works.
Good for you. Well done! I have shared the keto way with a gout sufferer. He told me it's gone despite him taking red meats and other proteins while on keto. He used to suffer from very painful gout almost all the time. Now, he's happily free from any got attacks or pain. Another man who was warned by his doctor that his kidney GFR is falling and that he would soon need dialysis, saw his GFR increase after going on keto and even avoiding the need for dialysis. It's not the proteins. It's the sugar.
The latter's son who is suffering from rheumatoid arthritis has seen the lumps or swellings on his body due to the consumption of steroids for for more than 20 years reduced. He's still working on it. A long term sufferer.
I can't remember how long I've been overweight and how many different diets. Put weight back on after loss. Diabetes type 2 (once my blood sugar was 40) with knee problems.
Hi could you show me the two recipes you made up for lunch and dinner that afternoon before going to kids party I just can't find it and would so much love to make it up
One was the taco omelette - havebutterwilltravel.com/taco-omelette/ and the other i think was the chicken burgers - havebutterwilltravel.com/keto-chicken-burgers/

@@HaveButterwillTravel thanks. I'm working my down slowly. So far I'm at around 30 to 50gms per day. So far have lost almost 10kgs in 5 weeks. My goal is to be full keto in the next month or so. Still have another 22kgs to lose. I wanna just be healthy and fitter like I was in my 30's. Love your videos ladies.
Hi just wanted to ask I didn’t think you could drink any cordial on keto iv been watching your videos and loving them but just a bit confused as I see you buy things with no added sugar but they are still very high in sugar just not added sugars
@@HaveButterwillTravel I see a lot of different goodies people have bought from IGA but they r all independently owned so you are right there, Thanks for your reply 🤔😎😊😉
Have you read the book Wheat Belly by Dr William Davis? Its keto but you can eat 45 carbs a day. Incredible book, I was bedridden, now I work on my property doing heavy labor and gardening.
Hey, ive been doing Keto since start of June, I'm currently struggling with sleep maintenance insomnia. I've lost about 8kgs. I want to just sleep better. Any suggestions?
@@HaveButterwillTravel the insomnia has slowly been getting worse. 6 months after stopping Effexor in 2017 is when all these sleep disturbances started. I'm hoping the Keto will eventually improve this for me.

Thanks so much Brandon
Wow you guys are awesome! Loving, caring, informative & real. Really enjoyed your video & so glad to see people from Aus rocking it. Well done! Definitely a loyal follower here :)
Thanks so much Jo-Anne.
Finally I found a Aussie couple to follow and love what I have watched so far.
Still catching up on your videos...Keto rules ...it has changed my life...you girls are down to earth ..that's Aussie for you lol 🙂
Thank you 💜

Thank you so much
Hi there, I am from Sydney, you guy are lucky that you are doing Keto together.
It’s definitely tougher when you have non kept food in the house. Congrats on your achievements
Xx ❤️ Kyli
Thank you so much for taking the time to send such a lovely message Kyli. You have done amazingly well - good on you!
Amazing story! Erica is glowing in this video 👍
Thank you 😊
I'm about to start keto myself. I have PCOS and have struggled so much with weight tried low fat diets, low calorie diets ect and non worked so I'm hoping keto will be my key to success
Good luck. You can definitely do it
So happy to of found your videos. I just started keto and your videos have helped me so much :)
Thank you so much. We are glad to have helped you. Please let us know if there is any way we can help.
Hi ladies.. love your story and so glad to have found your aussie take on keto.
So glad you found us. Keto is definitely for life for us.
You Guys Are GREAT!! laughed with you 2 on your story leading to doing keto...Thanks for sharing your story n experiences with us ❤❤🇦🇺🤣😂🤣🤣

Thanks girls you are my motivators.. at age 70yrs my dr said cut out carbs .. thanks now I’m going to follow you too.. type 2 & diabetes is hereditary.. bring on those recipes 💕💖
Wow, thanks Diana.
Love following you both... I’ve been on keto for 6 weeks and enjoying it however I still have joint pain cannot wait for things to improve more. Regards from Newcastle NSW
Hopefully you will start feeling better soon 😊🤞🏻
everything you said has been my experiance, except the bit about periods lol...
Thanks so much for sharing Scott. We did lol at the period comment.
You are both amazing!
I have watched the transformation and admire your strength and courage to pursue what is right for you.
Keep on with your endeavour.
👏Cheryl
Thanks Cheryl.
Thanks so much Monica.
You two are adorable! Love your shopping tips! Keeping it real. Thanks!
Thanks Alison. I don't know about adorable, but I'll take it.
I have high inflammation markers very overweight will give keto a go cheers congratulations girls xx
Thanks Kirsten. It definitely changed our lives. My advice, fully commit and don't be afraid of fat.
Enjoyed this story very much. Thanks for the inspiration. I am ten days into my keto journey (lifestyle) and already feeling a difference within myself.
Thank so much! Best of luck
This video was not only inspiring but also helpful. Thx for sharing your story. 🌷
Thanks so much Kate!
I’m binge watching you; you guys are adorable; I remember my epiphany too, trying to tour Washington, D.C. and wanting to die! I also Do have diabetes, unfortunately! Do everything in your power to keep it away! Keto is first diet the weight stays off and I’m satisfied.
Thanks so much!
I feel the joy you have now... 😊
Good on you Hazel!
Well done girls 👍 Proof is in the pudding, mainstream dieticians really need to look at this who still go around beating the “eat less exercise more” drum. The fact is you can’t outrun a bad diet and nothing is more effective than Keto when it comes to weight loss.
Thank you so much Anshul.
Thanks so much Bella - all the best with your keto journey, it sounds like you are doing well so far 😊
Your videos have been a great help to me so thank you 😊
Wow, Kelly, that's amazing. Well done. Thanks so much for your kind words.
Finally happy to find your channel. Living in Australia I can connect more with you guys❤️
Awesome! Thank you!
Another great video! Great to see your channel growing so quickly.
Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing, really inspirational. I have been doing keto only 3 weeks and I love it. I have health problems so I need to do this. I love your recipes as well, your channel is really good and is helping me. Bless you both
Thank you so much Lesley. We appreciate your comment. Glad you enjoy the recipes too.
i too have tried everything even had gastric sleeve i lost over 50kgs and put 30 back on after allowing carbs back in started keto on 1st dec 2020 and have lost 12.5kgs so far
Great work!
I'm enjoying your videos. You two are such a positive, fun couple! Wonderful that you've enjoyed extensive travel too. I'm curious~
What type of work you both do?
KETO ON! 💪
Thank you so much. I work in a hearing clinic and Erika works in a call centre.
it was a Tuesday actually 😂
I love hearing stories of the keto lifestyle change, keeps me motivated as I'm losing weight quite slowly but it's only early days so I just tell myself I could be them in 2 years time!
We had the date completely wrong. We went back and checked. We began keto on the 10th of July 2016 and it was a Sunday! Dan was right!!
Magic.
I’m off to binge watch more videos lol
I’ve started my keto lifestyle again this week. I feel amazing while eating this way.
Thank you so much Kim.
Hey guys, can you do a comparison on the artificial sweeteners like stevia vs monkfruit vs splenda etc etc etc? Love all your other comparisons as they're really helpful. Love the show and stay safe.
Great suggestion! Thanks Donna
Well done! That is amazing! Both of you look happy and healthy!
Thanks Tina
YES! YES! at 3 days in my knees didn't hurt! That's what did it for me too! 30 days today 19 pounds down no more knee pain!
It really is amazing isn't it! Good on you Karli
@@HaveButterwillTravel Thanks so much!😀

You got this!
Thanks so much Tania. The biggest tip we can give you is keep going. Focus on any non scale victories you are experiencing to help you get through.
Congratulations! Keep up the good work. 👍
Thank you so much.
Amazing! So motivational 💪🏽❤️
Thanks Kaila.
Just recently went back to NZ after 2 yrs and omg i had mega wriggle room on the seat . Im down 100lbs in a year
It’s the best feeling isn’t it??
Hi I am new to keto and I have just started following you both! I love brown rice and don’t know how I will
Cut it out but I am going to try :)
Thanks so much. Removing rice can be hard but if you can you will be better off
Well done! An inspirational story.
Thanks so much!

Thanks for your video's me and my wife are starting keto in a week or so...absolutely scared but excited. Hopefully it helps with my endometriosis aswell
I'm guessing that diet coke is off the list
It can be a little scary, but it is well worth it. If you or your wife have any questions feel free to let us know. You can always email us at info@havebutterwilltravel.com
That one is your call. We still have pepsi max on occasions. It might be easier to keep it in while you transition and focus on removing the carbs first.
Love your energy and your results are truly fantastic 💖
Thank you so much.
I have been eating keto for a year now and pretty much at my ideal weight but I watch keto videos to keep the motivation going and I've always wanted to see more women talking about it. Glad I found you guys.
Maybe come to India sometime and do the most difficult keto travel you ever have?
Now that would be pretty difficult.
Awesome job. Glad you enjoyed the shopping hauls.
You are such a beautifully supportive couple and it is a joy to see! I have tried Keto and liked it but the first few days are killer and have returned to carbs. Do you both think about doing a transformative challenge like in this video again? This video is very inspiring.
Thank you so much!
Wonderful story....Congratulations to you both.
Thanks Sam.
Hi Ladies,
I have just started keto and am a new subscriber, so I was wondering did you track your total daily carbs/ and or net carbs along with protein and daily fat intake on an app or did you just focus on the carbs when you started out on keto?
Hi Lynda, We have a few recipe videos on our channel. We have a lot more on our website - havebutterwilltravel.com/category/low-carb/recipes/

Thanks Vicki
Outstanding ladies.
Thanks Glenn
What a great story to share on Australia day 😊👍
thanks so much
Very motivating, thank you 👍🌹
Thank you so much
started last sept 1st. weight loss has been slower then most i feel but have stuck it out 12kg loss. i have PCOS so still on the pill and i take a cholesterol pill which is not a stain. i am thinking of stopping the cholesterol pill first then the pill but i used to have so much trouble with my period to point of not being able to get out of bed. but i know other women have had success with keto. thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your videos. I've just found them by chance and love that you're ozzies.
Thank you so much
What a delightful couple you are!
Thanks so much Amber. IMO it's about doing the best you can in the most sustainable way.
Erika’s lost weight since this... boom!! Great tale guys
Thank you so much.
My husband and I want to start but not sure where to start what calculator to use for our macro break down any suggestions
Hey Tammy, we like this one - www.fatforweightloss.com.au/macro-calculator/
We have a getting started post on our website too - havebutterwilltravel.com/what-is-this-keto-diet-all-about/
just hearing Erika say she had lots of tiredness and pain, I wonder if she has ME/CFS Fibromyalgia?
Thanks for the info Joy
You guys are great.
Thanks Larry.
We haven’t been keto for awhile
You guys are fun!
Thank you!
I’ve found out my arthritis’s is less painfull joints and and border line is less intense
That is great Tracey!
A long term sufferer.
good on you two 12th july 2016 was a tusday
Thanks Sandra!
I can't remember how long I've been overweight and how many different diets. Put weight back on after loss. Diabetes type 2 (once my blood sugar was 40) with knee problems.
We all have a similar story don't we?
Hi could you show me the two recipes you made up for lunch and dinner that afternoon before going to kids party I just can't find it and would so much love to make it up
One was the taco omelette - havebutterwilltravel.com/taco-omelette/
and the other i think was the chicken burgers - havebutterwilltravel.com/keto-chicken-burgers/
Hi just wanted to say thank you both for the recipes I made them and they are so delicious.
can relate to keto being the norm and high carbs the strange way of fuellingthe body
Thanks Geraldine

It would be worth checking out our old keto videos. We have lots with Woolworths and coles info
Amazing story! I have always struggled with weight once I hit my 30's. How low do you guys keep your carbs each day?
At the time we were doing 20g
Hey Kerry, not sure what products are are referring to that we buy that is high in sugar?
I'm loving your video's , was wondering if you could do 1 at IGA?????
We can, the IGA's are all very different to each other from our experience.
@@HaveButterwillTravel
I see a lot of different goodies people have bought from IGA but they r all independently owned so you are right there,
Thanks for your reply 🤔😎😊😉
Have you read the book Wheat Belly by Dr William Davis? Its keto but you can eat 45 carbs a day. Incredible book, I was bedridden, now I work on my property doing heavy labor and gardening.
Erika has read that book. Congratulations on the improved health, that's amazing.
Hey, ive been doing Keto since start of June, I'm currently struggling with sleep maintenance insomnia. I've lost about 8kgs. I want to just sleep better. Any suggestions?
That's a tough one. Has it started since keto?
This may help. perfectketo.com/keto-insomnia/
@@HaveButterwillTravel the insomnia has slowly been getting worse. 6 months after stopping Effexor in 2017 is when all these sleep disturbances started. I'm hoping the Keto will eventually improve this for me.
