That's what people fail to realize, a lot of these artists that had big hits in the past [some up to now] are doing work behind the scenes and some are making more than they did while doing music for themselves.
Yeah but that's not necessarily a brag. They're giving their talent away to less talented people for a price.

Lastly writers/producers depending on contractional agreements can make more than a lot of singers/rappers that they write/produce for.

Every time you hear about groups breaking up, you always worry that it was something messy and the industry tore them a part but it’s so nice to hear that these sisters are still close and it was something out of their control.
I remember them for sure, my sisters used to play their single CDs back in the day when you had to purchase the hit single CD that had maybe one more track and the instrumental to the main song.
The 2000s was a fun time man, lotta shit when down in that decade and I’m happy to have been apart of it.

Facts
Cherish was pretty dope during their time together making albums. Felisha and Fallon did even better when they grouped up with BluPrint and released some dope ass tracks. Those women are amazing song writers.
Bluprint was/is a disaster. I think everyone knows why.
@@mkoh8778 The music speaks for itself though. BluPrint’s EP was dope front to back. What group hasn’t had their problems? Almost all of them have ran into their share of problems.

Yes I had their unappreciated album it was really a solid album from beginning to end. I remember letting my friend borrow it and bugging her for over a year to give it back I told her I don't care if she no longer had the CD case just give it back🤣

@@jonnyvon4565i can imagine the frustration. people were playing with our feelings. she could have copied it ripped with a dvd burner .Dman my age is showing lol!. that one is one of my prized possessions to this day. its rare. i've got the double CD/DVD by anthony hamilton with live and 2 video clips in it that a friend refused to give back. i crossed state lines to get it back. i looked online and to this day that particular press of cd/dvd is super super rare to find.

Like 3LW, I never looked at them as having longevity. They were nice and Capitol Records needed a girl group
Correct me if I'm wrong, their debut album Is the last top 10 album by an ALL BLACK female group and that was in 2006

They had some cute song. Show and Tell is still a jam I'll play here and there in a quite storm mix. Unappreciated was a great album.

Wow Cherish are all beautiful. I think them, The Pussycat Dolls and Dainty Kane were the last 3 girl groups standing at that time. So Cherish had a little bit of competition sort of speak IMO

Their attitudes on Encore really left a bad taste in my mouth. It's a good thing to be confident, but to be cocky....not a good look
I don’t think ludacris played that song on “hot 9.75” ludacris was in movies by the time and this group came out in 2006 they were probably 5 years old when Chris luva aka ludacris was on the radio and plus hot 9.75 has been gone since like 2001 it’s been 107.9 for over 20 years

They are probably going to rebrand because it is off brand. There are other channels that actually specialize in musical artists. I thought this channel was tailored to the comedy world which is why I subscribed. It’s getting disappointing at this point. Like wow…let those channels do their thing. Stay on niche or rebrand. The timelines are off. Ludacris came out in 1999/2000. So him being an undiscovered DJ that played their 2006 record on the radio doesn’t make sense..
