Those cans threw me as they're not orange on the bands, I've been eyeing up some 712 for a while as the only akg I have are the little entry level 250, they're good for what they are, definitely wanting to see what the better offerings are like, are they the open or closed back ?

Ah I think they are the 702 not 12 not sure why u had 12 in my head lol. They are open back, feels nice and airy inside especially when paired with nx
