I just moved house and found mine in a box with some old forgotten about camera equipment while I was unpacking. I bought the watch brand new in Japan Narita airport duty free shop while travelling about 45 years ago and lost it a few years later. All that time it was in that box in the attic. It started working on the first couple of shakes. Now I'm researching and find it's very sought after. I can't remember how much I paid but I don't remember it being expensive, although back then the yen was very weak against the pound, so everything was cheaper there than in the UK.
You just found a hidden treasure man. I bet it looks like a new old stock watch. Especially if it still has the tags, it would sell for a lot. But I think it was meant for you to keep, wear it in good health, friend!
@@KirbyYoung Unfortunately it's not in new condition because it did get some hard use in its first few years. The bracelet suffered the most. I threw away the box and papers when I got it back to the UK from Japan. Back then we didn't really think much about stuff like that with a Japanese watch. They weren't really valuable back then. I'm just so glad I found it.

I saved a photo of this watch maybe 10 years ago before I learned anything about them thinking, man that’s the exact kind of watch I would like if I wore them. Cut to now, I’m collecting and still chasing this guy
