Had 2022 b5 now for about a year now on 10,000 miles. Love android syetem set up, spotify comes up right away fast and the map as well. No hassle fumbling your phone or connecting. System had a very few hiccups over the time like black out screens but they were resolved quick and easy with reboot button. Overall Im satisfied.
I bought a 2022 xc60 r-design in December 2021 and I have had nothing but an endless stream of software and electronic issues. Even the mechanics shrug their shoulders at these issues as they are not trained to troubleshoot and resolve non-mechanical problems with this vehicle. Caveat emptor!
I got a 2022 in January and it’s already spent 2 weeks in the shop. The car is spectacular when it works and I still adore it but that Google system was half-baked and needed more time.

I thought Volvo simplified the engine on the updated PHEV. Other outlets report the supercharger being gone because of the stronger electrification. Please confirm and update. Thanks.
@6:25 lane assist is the most useless feature. The anticollison and pedestrian detection is cool though. The lane assist is a useless extra feature that makes windshield replacements cost $1000 for no benefit whatsoever. The anti collision has saved me from rear ending someone really bad before I was staring at a car to my right and traffic came to a random complete stop right in front of me (California problems happy I don't live there anymore) and by the time I looked ahead again I started hitting the brakes but I wasn't pressing hard enough and the car locked the brakes on its own and I still had to pull to the shoulder because the cars stopped so fast in front of me and I couldn't tell they were already completely stopped but the car could tell!
Correct, the "Recharge" is No Longer supercharged. But the New "B6" is now Electrically Powered Supercharged. Which'd used to be a T6. ... I think People are Just confused with all the Re-naming Volvo has been doing. 🤣

I’ve had my XC60 Recharge since January. It is a complete nightmare. After I had the Volvo for 6 days, the dash lit up like a Christmas tree and the car spent about a week with the dealer in Pasadena who has tried, but so far has failed, to correct the problems with the software that manages the infotainment system. The Google system frequently freezes or reboots and has actually locked me out of the car even though I have the fob in my possession. Apple Car Play? Forget it - the dealer told me last week that it might be September before the over the air update has been debugged and ready for prime time. I should have read the early reviews before I drove off the dealer’s lot and kept my 2015 Acura MDX.
In UK, B4 diesel mild hybrid, would you believe in eco mode last week drive to Volvo dealers at 65mph, 55-7 miles per gallon that is gods honest truth using pilot assist.
35-40 miles of electric range is perfect for most people who can plug in at night but who (like us) take road trips once every month or two where we'd rather pump gas than deal with the dreadfully bad public-charging infrastructure.
Some of them are very close in reliability to Toyota or Honda. But overall, Euro cars aren't as reliable as most Japanese cars. Volvo reliability is not good or bad. It's hit or miss. When it is good, it is very good. When it is bad, it's horrible.
I got a brand new 2022 xc60 b5 awd. Its been a month i have it and its already giving me transmission problems. The transmission doesn't shift on time. It kicks everytime it shifts. Also it is very slow car. Sometimes the front display and all the functions goes black and unable to use air conditioning or any of the functions. Do not waste your money or time buying a volvo. Trust me volvo is not worth it.
Update. Some China made cars have better quality and better fit and finish than American made cars. A lot of the assembly is by robots and it is the manufacturing tolerances that matter.

My Volvo XC90 Inscription is still fresssh and trouble -free, and it's a 2019.

Purchase my22 b5 awd momentum back in april - 6.5k miles later still happy overall. No over the air update as of yet for apple CarPlay yet - it’s June

Sadly these aren't the Volvos of the 70s and 80s
Do you have tubro supercharger B6 engine?
@@shaandaelier no I have the B5 Inscription. However my dealer said he had seen instances of the total software failure in multiple engine types.
Sounds like a modern Volvo to me. At least you’ll be safe on those trips to the dealership 🤷🏽♂️

I believe the extended range dropped the super charge.
Damnit, another video where Micah did not reveal how tall he is😏😏🤣🤣🤣
Feel like he’s mentioned he’s 5’10” before. If not here, then he’s definitely mentioned it on his personal channel with his family reviews.

Volvo XC60 or v60 would totally be on my list, i LOVE the way these cars look. But WHY do they have to be so overly complicated!!!
soon the “Embla” EV will be available, BMW iX size

I wouldn’t get it. They are Chinese made prices of junk

Hey did you test this Volvo in Belgium? I see it on your display (abdijmolenweg).
Love Volvos better than Lexus and genesis imo

Is it a suv or a sedan

Looks good. But would of been nice to go over the 35 miles city electric range for the plug in model. Which rivals the Lexus nx plug in hybrid

Definitely gonna need an extended warranty for this thing
Man, I wish I could get my 2017 S90 have that upgraded Sensus infotainment.
Hybrids make no sense to me. If you're going to go electric go electric. why pay a premium to add a battery with such dismal range?

Electric is a much different experience. Hybrid can be the best of both worlds especially if you drive primarily in EV mode around town.
Imagine what awesome cars Volvos would be if they were as reliable as Toyota or Honda cars.
