I have a new 2023 Airstream Classic. We just returned from our 2nd trip that was only 68 miles each way. When we arrived at the park I gabbed a Philips Head screw driver and started checking the inside of each cabinet. Sure enough I found one that had started backing out. I learned to do this check on my 2020 Airstream after traveling over 30K miles with it. Inspect your rigs folks. It can prevent so many issues. Thanks to all of you that served in our military forces! You are much appreciated!

We live about 2 miles south of an airport here that the osprey is tested regularly. They are some neat birds. As far as the rig goes, I think the best analogy I heard was "you have to remember that your home is going through an earthquake every time you go down the road". Keep an eye out for changes.

Just a tip to try. I have the same Zero Gravity ramp door on my Raptor. Just like when you open and close slides, you need to open the man door so all the air can get in and out and you don't overstress the slide motors. For the rear ramp door, open the rear garage man door first to let the air out and you can let the ramp shut nice and gently. I've never had to slam my rear ramp door that hard. Of course, you always need to double-check it's latched by giving it a tug on each side once it's closed.

    • @SuiteTravels

I would seriously consider abandoning your RV manufacturer after learning they built my full time home on the cheap. It will be unfortunate if your next issue concerns something more substantial in the frame due to bad decision making by the manufacturer.
Some RV manufacturers over build to preserve there brand reputation, some disappear after 10 years because of recurring issues across their models.

We've known the RV industry for over 40 years Dustup, and they ALL have issues. Owners just need to understand that it's not like a house. Stuff is going to happen rolling down the road.
