Actually built by Jacques Istel and his wife Felicia. I worked with him in the 80’s as he started construction. I designed the irrigation system and sold the parts. The only time I was out there was to see the project. Always seemed convenient that the center of the world was close to I-8. Thanks for the tour. I live in Yuma.
Thanks for taking us along, we camped near there a few times but never went to see what it was all about. There appears to be more to that place than I would have expected. - Kyle and Michelle
It's amazing what shifting and falling items can cause during travel. A real head scratcher sometimes. We've driven past Center of the World, and have wanted to stop. It looks incredible! Maybe next time through.
Great video. The Mrs. and I and several others went to Center of the World back in late January when we were boondocking as a group on Sidewinder Rd. I was shaking my head on the way in but actually came away kind of impressed with the carved plaques. Ringing the liberty bell was fun too. The place doesn't make much sense but we enjoyed it
Sorry A little late on watching this video!!! Cant wait for us to get back out on the road. Got a new truck 2017 Ram 3500 4x4 cummins. Jessie , Have you heard of AlfaOBD? Just found it doing some research on wanting too ad AUX switches . Its a very powerful software / OEM factory program accessories (aka and remote start and program aux switches) and also a lot more. Question, the BAOFENG BF-F8HP you have in your amazon store , is that something that can be used for help? As in it has like a broadcast sos ? Looking for something that when in back country and something happens (hope not) that can be used without cell service. Thank you !!
Yes Ive heard great things about alpha! Congratulations on the new truck. The handheld radio can input many different channels but not necessarily help. People can help if they hear on it. But no sos channel that I know of, you would need a Garmin in reach
Do all toddlers like the same game of a small dog chasing them!? Aiden does the same thing with Dagny and we same the say thing "Get em Dagny" to encourage her to play with him

Yeah offroading with the trailer is a completely different story hahah I would definitely recommend a stop sometime!

Lol totally agree Mark. I thought it was super silly on our way there. But it was pretty fun in general.
What a fascinating spot! Not too bad for $10. 👍
Yeah we thought the same thing. We have driven by a couple times, really glad we made the stop.
Still doin it right! Your Black Series is haunted. Ha.
Haha it's haunted 😃😉
The irony is those old model Ts could out-off road many of today's rigs.
They were definitely light! That would help in the sand!

@@AdventureEndeavor 10-4 I will have to look at the Garmin thaen. Thanks for the insight.
Of course definitely good to have something especially if your going offroading with one vehicle. We normally take both so we're not as worried.
The town was built by the Rothchilds and he named it after his wife Felicity.
