Nice mustang, but not a Factory GT, rather C code 2bbl 289 with reproduction pieces added to replicate a GT.

Hilarious! Chevy (Delco) is one of the few if not only companies that makes a battery that fits the old Mustangs and other Fords LOL.
It's certainly been restored to a high level and it's a pity that the previous owner couldn't finish it . Have a good Christmas Steve . Hopefully you won't be spending it trapped in the garage ! Although there could be worse places to be snow bound !!
Really nice touches. As far as the battery goes, I have seen in the past where I believe there’s a company that makes reproduction batteries based on what type and model of your car you had. Yes I could have bought an Autolite reproduction battery but they are twice the cost of a normal battery and have a terrible reputation if you try to use them in a street driven car and not just for shows.
You are right, they can be crazy expensive.

we used to use a piece of angled and drilled metal (Dexion) and long bolts to fit any undersized battery,but as long as you can find the correct battery,keep on truckin'. love all your videos!!!

I am so glad that the car drives and more importantly stops! It is great that you found a battery that fits too. There are companies that rebuild batteries and convert them to 'Gel' here in the UK. I have no idea of their reputation just someone mentioned that to me.Obviously that is no help to you but as a last resort that could have been an option to find someone in the USA who does the same. This video is well timed for Christmas, something positive at the end of the year. Once again a Merry Christmas to you Steve and to Cassi .👍👍

Down here in OZ the temperature is steadily climbing towards 30degrees Celsius. Not sure what that is in Fahrenheit. I have never seen a blizzard and I don't think I want to. All the best and thank you for your excellent posts.
Easy to remember 28c is 82f….close enough then to work out roughly that 30c approx 86f
