The internet is free, use it to leverage your coming here to Japan. The process took about 7 months until it was time for me to flight out. My school costs about $12,000 for all 2 years.

During World War 2 , when the white Americans put our Japanese brothers in concentration camps, a Mexican went in there with them, and lived with the Japanese in the concentration camp for 2 years. When the white Americans found out they dragged him out and made him serve in the war, where he earned various medals for valor and bravery. Before the stereotype of the Mexican gardener, it used to be Japanese gardener in LA.

Hello! I'm about to travel to Japan alone soon. And as a hispanic I worry that I will fit so out of place especially in the small towns I plan to visit. Any fellow hispanics got advice for me?
Don't expect a welcome wagon. People are nice but much of it is superficial. Unless you're white or "white looking", you'll be kept at arms' distance. I'm Latino, very dark skinned and short, so suffice to say, I didn't fit in. Again people were polite but I'd never find a date over there for example.

I’m Latino. I look indigenous (brown & short) and i lived there for a year in 2015-2016. People were polite and helpful everywhere I went. I lived in a small town and the elderly always tried to make conversation. Everybody would talk to me in Japanese and it was great cuz I learned a lot. I don’t know about others’ experiences but that’s what I experienced. 😊

As a Mexican-American myself it makes me happy to see Japanese people enjoy our culture. I enjoy teaching others about our diverse culture with its rich food and history. When I was in Switzerland, I liked it when I breaking the stereotypes of Mexicans and seeing we are not that bad. If I go to Japan, I hope I can make friends there and who knows maybe even find a nice woman there too ;) but also play soccer with the Japanese and teach them a skill or two as well lol. I have a theory about why the oriental asians and the mixed latins with too much indigenous origin attract each other and I think it is because they are like far relatives because the ancestors of the latin people crossed to America from Asia through the Bering Strait to the contrary the latins with more european genes see more to Europe.

I have a theory about why the oriental asians and the mixed latins with too much indigenous origin attract each other and I think it is because they are like far relatives because the ancestors of the latin people crossed to America from Asia through the Bering Strait to the contrary the latins with more european genes see more to Europe.
