Peter Wright proving why he should not be in the Premier League and why Chris Mason was right. He disrespected this tournament by calling it a "mickey mouse tournament" and got humbled off the back of his arrogance. Similar to the way he got humbled after he disrespected Jim Williams at the World Championship by saying he was using it as a warm up ahead of facing RVB and then lost 3-0 and never got to play RVB. Needs to learn to shut his mouth, focus on using one set of darts and focus on finding some form again.
We'll be left wondering two things from this:
1. Did Bunting land that 121?
2. Did Heta land that upper cut?
Love the way buntings face always looks like hes squeezing a fart out when he chucks,great play.

Heta was fairly poor in all fairness. Always liked Van Den Bergh but if he was playing an opponent who was at the races anyway at all he'd have been beaten.

Crazy to see how Peter throws now compared to the 90s. He held the darts more similar to Bristow back then.

I am sure DvB is well aware of that and wants to shake that stat off him!
But yeah, it could be a mental blocker at this point - Especially since it got really heated last time around!
(MvG was deliberately standing a step too close to DvB cause he KNEW it would affect the mentally weaker DvB at worlds)
(DvB called him out and got frustrated and MvG just went "what, whatever, crybaby" and moved a step back, knowing he had won then cause DvB had lost his rhythm then)
