yeah me too gesheed, but after have completed two stages, now the stages is going to be a hard and suffer a car plane levels with a lot of enemies with shooters on the whole screen also some levels is going to be hard also the bosses 😖😖😖
Oh man. The music in this game. Havent heard it for 27 years or so. Damn. These flashbacks give me the chills. I was 6 years old or so and I was super bad in playing this game. Havent been further than level 3 or 4 I guess 😂😂😂😂
I so remember playing this game back on the old game boy and played it on the super game boy too. Those were the good old days of games back in the day.
I remember when my mother have brought this game for me. It is one of the best gameboy's game have ever played. Great intro and i love the batman aircraft stages.
0:32 I like how Bruce Wayne snuck off from the party, got dressed up as Batman, and *STILL* managed to overhear Commissioner Gordon talking about Jack Napier at Axis Chemicals. Lmfao.
Ooh this is so nostalgic, this is one of the first 3 games I've ever played, along with the Monster Inc. game and the japan-release game of mickey in a scary version of the disney castle fighting with ballons. I was a noob back then and gets easily scared by pixels XD
The best power-up in this game was being able to shoot multiple batarangs. This was especially useful when you fought Jack/Joker, since he jumped around and was a little harder to hit. Shooting multiple batarangs at different heights would hit him many times as they swung back and forth across the screen even when he was in the air. Once I got the batarang ammo, I avoided all the others. Whoever is playing in this video, I wanna scream at them because they keep grabbing every ammo power-up they come across, even the ones that "de-power" him back to shooting the crappy short-range pellets. Like, do you enjoy torturing yourself, bruh?
Pick-Ups: Black Pistol: Increases weapon damage White Pistol: Decreases weapon damage Batarang: Summons a batarang that orbits the player and damages enemies on contact (max. 4) Grey Pill: Makes the batarangs orbit you faster W: Wave Gun, shots can pass through obstacles B: Bonus points Heart: Restores 1 Hitpoint N: Normal gun, the weapon you start with P: Power Shot. Like the normal gun but the bullets are bigger and it deals slightly more damage S: Short Shot. Like the normal gun but very low range. Smoke Bomb: Aka Smartbomb, destroys all enemies on screen. R: Batarang Shot. Can hit enemies multiple times. The downside is the low range. This will wreck bosses. Batman head: Extra Life T: Tranquilizer Shot, the strongest weapon in the game. A pain to keep, though.
It's funny that this game used a style similar to Super Mario Land 1, tiny sprites to fit with the small screen size of the Gameboy. *plus the fact that batman uses a gun*
funny story, back in 2001 I found this game at the YMCA and played the crap out of it, I had a gameboy color then and i had some good times with this game, I also had looney tunes gameboy, it was awesome!
I got this from eBay and the game play is so smooth and the little shooter you get responds well.. basically no delay, it’s hard explain, but you can just pick this game up and get the hang of it straight away.
There's a great game-to-movie adaptation waiting to made here. "In a world where no one is tall enough to ride the teacups, Tom Cruise is... BATMAN." It'll be huge. The bat suit, I mean. They'll probably have to shrink it.
This and the gameboy Star Wars game and sonic the hedgehog on master system 2 were the first 3 games I ever completed back in the early 90s at a young age.
I played this when I borrowed a friend's game boy over the weekend or something; with more time I might have finished it but didn't get past the batwing stage. I distinctly remember the music from the chemical factory. With Batman's no-kill rule, my guess is that those various guns he has are somehow non-lethal? the manual probably explained them
@@Michael.Ch90 Most Likely? I remember longplay sites rules usually stating save states are allowed because a longplay is more about showing the game than displaying player skill, and it wouldn't be too hard to edit state loading out, so I don't know about this one
@@FrankYule But since the player still had his 4 bats flying around when fighting with the Joker, I would assume he really did all the game without a single mistake😉
Ah yes, my first ever batman game I owned. Batman using a gun in order to blow criminals to nothingness: As Batman usually does! The Batman 1989 movie is still one of my all-time favourites, the game I still consider being pretty fun in its own right. The batwing level was awesome to play as a kid!
Wilson da Colonia Contra Ataca utiliza em diversos vídeos a trilha desse jogo. Por causa dele ela é nostálgica pra mim, mesmo tendo nunca jogado esse jogo
This was one of the best games at these times. When I defeated the joker in the last level, I pressed in the end credits (near at end I mean at the end credits) Select and maybe the cros in one postion, but maybe without cross, and while holding Select and pressing Start I have had got a menue where it was possible to choose a level: do you know how the trick?
...while holding Select and while pressing Start in the main menue (that from the beginning) to start game: then level choosing possible in that upcoming further menue
Brought so many memories back 😊 apart from the super marios game this and the addams family game were the only platform game I finished not sure how I got through the batwing flying part after watching this. They don't make them like this anymore. Mtfbwy.
This is one of my favourite Gameboy games. I just love the spinning logo in the intro and the music :D
Mini Batman hahaha... starring: Peter Dinklage
One of the best Batman games I've played.. So challenging!

Mannn!!!!
Memories
Some of the best music the game boy has to offer. Being a sunsoft game, that's not surprising.
Pretty good music for a Gameboy game.
Sunsoft games always had good music.
Main thing i remember!!
It is good but you've got to hear RoboCop's title theme on the original Gameboy.
Yeah, the graphics quality considering the hardware capability is pretty impressive too.
Game Boy has the best soundtracks of all consoles!!!
The spinning logo and screen transitions are pretty impressive considering how early in the Gameboy's lifespan this came out.
I so remember playing this game back on the old game boy and played it on the super game boy too. Those were the good old days of games back in the day.
The spinning logo at the very beginning is very impressive to me.
The Genesis/Mega Drive version has that too in its opening, heh. Still cool, though!

I loved this game as a kid. I liked how it actually followed the movie pretty well, unlike the NES version.
I was playing the NES game and I was like:"I don't remember seeing robots in the movie".
The NES version is a much better video game.
@@miltontavares9506 i was going to answer exactly the same till i saw you answered the same before 😂
Behind those comically small sprites, lies a really fun game. This is great!
The first Batman game my mom bought for me when I was 9 years old. I missed my mom
Who needs the Arkham Trilogy when you got this?
Heh. Try the NES or Genesis versions, those are a lot better and have better music.
Ambrose Burnout I owned both games back in the days. Nes had better graphics but this game was better I think. At least I played it more.
This version definitely stayed truer to the movie than the NES version.
THEY SHOULD CALL THIS GAM TINY BATMAN. I LOVE YOU TINY BATMAN. SO SMALL
That sounds like something Pat The NES Punk would talk about. "AWW WOOK AT DA CUTE WITTLE BATMAN." XD
Lol

Lucas Harima Monsters Inc., dude this game is from 1989 the original Gameboy, you must be thinking about something else dude.

Short range pellets arent bad, they are way more powerful than anything else, but you should also play them with a plan
Absolute classic. I always loved those spinning bat protector things
I used to love just listening to the music on this game when I had it. Often hanging out in an area just to listen to the music fully.
Whatever happened to the no guns rule,Batman?
"It, uhm, is a Batarang thrower, uhhhhh, modified to sling projectiles at high speed! As you can clearly see, it's a totally different thing!"
And what about the antigrav batarangs that orbit him like the shells in Mario Kart?
@lazii man Does it actually say that in the game tho?
@lazii man Yeah, but for the most part, when you see a gun, you think of a normal gun that shoots bullets, not tranqs.
I just pretend its Flashpoint Batman
One of my favourite first video games. Genuinely very good, and not just from a nostalgic standpoint
This is the Batman Ben affleck studied for his role
Here's where Batman Begins.
Sunsoft always knew how to make a kickass soundtrack. Even Fester's Quest was off the chain.
Tom Cruise as Batman
More like Peter Dinklage.
Too tall.
This music kicks bat-ass...
I just loved that game in my childhood. Such a cool game. 🔥💪🏼🦇 Great gameplay and music 👍🏼
The player is a genius guy , nice one just like I’m watching a movie . Good job
I dug this game out just now. It's bloody tough. Game Over just after the joker boss, which in itself was hard.
That Level 4-2 is a massive pain in the ass, but other than that, a fun game.
I can get to that level without dying, and then I can't get past. Been 30 years trying!
I can never pass that level when that screen moves forward, ugh! At least the game has unlimited continues but it's a fun game
Cue the fanboys screaming, “BUT, BUT BATMAN DOESN’T USE A GUN!”
Batman did use a gun in the Golden Age of Comics.
Sunsoft sure kicked ass back in the day. Genesis Batman is still my favorite Batman game ever.
Never understood why there was a Batwing stage but no Batmobile stage.
Don't think I ever made it past the Batwing stage.
I've been playing this game since 1990, I've only gotten past the Batwing stages once and died within seconds on the next level.
Agreed! It would've been cool if there was a Batmobile stage, they showed a Batmobile cutscene but no Batmobile stage
I still got PTSD from playing this... was so fking hard for my poor 6 year old soul
I loved this Game as a kid . Still have it :D
Oh good god this has taken me back
After 33years, I can watch the end of this game,, Thank's Bro What à nostalgie
One of those GB games I never really put down. Unforgettable visuals and music. That image of Joker after the Jack boss fight is kind of terrifying.

Yes, it doesn't respect the character at all, but it's still fun and feels like a "what if Batman killed criminals ?"

so this is the inspiration for Lego Batman? xD
