Excatly my thoughts, love this video
since when where there intros in TH-cam shorts
@@oggoji6130 lmao ikr
I happen to own both of them. There is a massive difference between the two of them, I guess there is always this type of nut job 😂😂. No BS lmao
bro have it personal with those reviewer
This man is for the people 💪🏽
He's a bafoon
Exactly what I was looking for and straight to the point. What a legend, thanks!
Decided between these two for about a week. Bought the 7x, HOLY SHIT I'm blown away. Came from a Sennheiser GSP500 paired with an astro mixamp tr and I was worried about going to wireless... boy was I worried for no reason. Best headset I've ever owned BY FAR
Nice I almost bought the novas but I'm going to get these see if I like them
I’ve tried them and i didn’t like that weak clamping force. How is it holding for you
This is a great and precise review. Got the Nova 7s this week. I love them! They are definitely well tuned for 360 audio.
Hei! What is your experience with using this headset?
Do work with playstation and is the mic good?
@@breezy_too-cheezy4341if you want em to work on pc ps and xbox get the 7x. 7p is for pc and ps only. personally i’ve never had issues w mics from steel series and it sounds good for simple console gaming
I believe they do work with PlayStation
@@GavySunner i bought them and yeah the work and the mic is actually pretty good 👌
The best review I watched on TH-cam)) U r cool MAN! THANKS!! It's just what I wanted to find
This my man is one of the only shorts I liked. Can’t stand this format of videos but I truly appreciate the quickness of the answer. MUCH appreciated.
Straight to the point, no listening to 20+ minutes of talk about less facts than given here in 55 seconds. Thank you. I wish that would be the new standard for the future ;)
I think this short sealed the deal for me. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for this quick, non 30 minute unboxing review that gets straight to the point and covers the most important things. Awesome short!
i have the wired arctis nova pros and im in love with the sound, im really glad that i cancled the wireless version.
We really need an "Arctis nova 9". Basically an arctis nova 7 with the battery swap system from the nova pro (just get us a wall adapter charger no need for that equalizer station/gamedac).
don’t really need battery swap since the nova 7 has fast charge. if you forget to charge your headset just 15 min of charge time gets you 6 hours of battery life.
@@Hypno_BPMIf you've been using swappable batteries, it's hard to go back. You never have to think about charging them
@@alvesvaren sure but you’re saying you rather charge an extra battery for 3 hours or whatever instead of plugging it in to charge for 5 min to get quick battery life ? i’ve had my nova 7 for 5 months now and it hasn’t gotten dead once yet.
@@Hypno_BPM You just swap them. It takes like 10 seconds and then you're always wireless.
It's also much easier to just buy a few new batteries if they start to wear down after a few years, compared to just needing to charge the headset all the time
@@alvesvaren that’s the point i’m making , you don’t have to charge these headphones all the time. it’s like once a week for 15-20 min that’s it. rather than charging the back up batteries for 3 hours every other day.
Literally echoing what has been said, thank you! I watched another review and after 15 minutes of random talking I still didn't know what the difference was!
This, 55 seconds, to the point and has all the information I needed!
Noice. This perfectly went over all my questions I had about the 2
Thanks! You really helped me. I hust found this after almost two hours comparing headsets.
Going to buy the arctic series 7p+ for my Ps5.
You earned both a like and a sub, for making such a time saving and very good review. I’m on my way to the store to pick up the 7’s. Keep it up mang!🤜🏽🤛🏽
This is the video I NEEDED to see. Thanks for saving me time and money
Perfect man, no nonsense and just what i needed to know… thanks!
Subscribed! Solid work as others have mentioned
This sold me. Great short explanations thanks!!!
Best tech review I’ve seen in years
Everything I needed to know in 30 seconds. Perfection.
Thanks man! All the information I needed.
This man is the best youtuber I've ever seen!
Love my Nova 7s! Got them from Best Buy a couple months back. Super comfortable, customizable (via both software and buttons on the headset, like the voice:game volume toggle), and decently affordable for that. I’m happy with them. I didn’t realize how much my Turtle Beaches sucked haha, but makes sense given they’re like $50
This style of Tech shorts is really good. 👌
The timing was so good, I had been looking for a good headset for over a week now. I would’ve gone either with Nova pro wireless or Audeze Maxwell (probably Audeze), but I heard so many complains about the build quality and weight that I wasn’t really sure. After seeing the Nova 7 wireless, I checked some shops nearby and to my surprise they had it for sale! Even with a discount! Going to get them tomorrow, thanks for the suggestion.
Seriously, I have been going back and forth between Turtle Beach, Astro, and Steel Series for weeks, and this short convinced me to get the Arctic Nova 7s and so far I am not disappointed!
completely, 100% agree with everything you just laid out. No gaming headphone is worth $400 in my opinion. There are always other choices that do the same things
This man is exactly correct! I purchased the Nova 7x wireless and I couldn’t be happier!💯
Completely agree, have been using them for couple months and they are incredible, recommend for sure.
Thank u for deciding for me. Headed and out to best buy rn to pick up a pair of of nova 7x's
Keep in mind that the nova pro also has built in 10 band EQ and mixing capabilities. These features are a must for some people.
They both have eq, both have Bluetooth/chat mixing, both utilize Sonar.
Only standout on the Pro Wireless in that regard is the line out sub-mixing which most people don’t need.
@@badseedtech like if you were doing podcasts or playing another instrument ot hear it? is that what it means?
For some people like who? For which use?
@@MrVuittonDon footsteps in cod mixing can help you get better footsteps
Thank you so much you saved me so much money. I have to sub to this great channel.
That was clear, thank you!
Oh my god man. Thank you for this. I was having a hard time choosing between the two. Pro was WAY OVER my budget but i want it to get a bit more features. But after what u said, I'll get the nova 7. Thanks
Fantastic, just cancelled my Nova Pro Wireless order. I needed to hear this 🙏
U must be deaf bc every reviewer said the nova pro were uncomfortable due to the anc sticking out. Watch more reviews
@@jcap8391 did you even read my comment lmao
@@CalmConcept You needed to hear one reviewers opinion about something everyone had already made consensus on. Yes I heard you
@@jcap8391 hahaha okay bud
@@jcap8391 no you didn’t read his comment, he said he canceled his order of the Nova Pro, the ones you said are uncomfortable and people complain about, yeah those are the ones he canceled his order on
Went with the nova 7 because of everything you mentioned, thanks!
Still using the old arctis pro wireless and I hv to say, they hot-swappable batteries are life changing. I really do hope other brand starts to implement these
you really don’t need them with the nova 7 fast charging. 15 min charging gets you 6 hours of battery life iirc.
@@Hypno_BPM so in intense game, i need to say, hey, hold on 15 minutes, i need to charge my headphone?
@@Firdaus55555 so you’re telling me you never check your headsets battery before you start playing , you just put ‘em on and hope you don’t run out of juice ? i never had my headset die in the middle of a game especially if i’m gonna play an online game. single player if i did lose power i really wouldn’t care to take 5 min to charge my headset for 2-3 hours of battery life.
@@Hypno_BPM man, not everyone didnt hv a life or job. Sometimes you just want to plug n play a game or two before going to bed after a bad day. What steelseries and turtle beach offer with hotswappable battery is the ease of use and the "choice" to do so. Yes, i can charge using usb cable normally, but, having the ability to "choice" on how im going to use my headset, is, kinda dope.
The Sonar is what makes it stand apart
Got everything I need to know under 30 sec. Brilliant
Perfect review. I bought the pro’s and I hated that center of the headphones. Extremely uncomfortable and it took a long time to get them to connect. I contacted support and they couldn’t do anything. The Nova 7 was a better buy
Great advice. I'm thinking of getting rid of my Nova pros and going to the 7''s. The pros are to quiet. No noise canceling option for the pros. Did a firmware update PS5 is turned up ect to quiet. I've worn the 7's and they are much louder and I never even turned off the noise limiter. Didn't know it had one. I should have kept them..Thanks again
YOU ARE THE MAN. thank you for this.
Great review. Most people always focus on the negatives so it's great to hear the positives. Was going to go for the nova pro, this video convinced me to go for the nova 7 instead - definitely saved my wallet some pain! Went for the diablo edition too which looks fantastic.
quick and easy, thanks💪
Just bought the 7 today. Did a lot of research, including your take, thank you. Haven’t used them yet but I’m hoping for a great experience.
How are they are they good ?
Is the mic good?
This is what i was looking for. Gonna order the nova 7 rn😅
Thank you for breaking it down in less than 2 minutes take everybody else a 1/2 an hour I aint got that kind of time thanks brother
Dude you made me buy one epic review
I just bought the regular 7x and I am not a fan but I thinking of picking up the Nova 7 in hopes it’ll fit my ideal sound profile better :) Thanks for the vid
Whenever I‘m tempted to buy the nova pros and sell my nova 7 I come and watch this video.
Coming from an astro a50 the nova 7 just lack in sound quality that’s why I always get tempted to upgrade. I‘d love to keep using my astros but sadly they just don’t fit well enough over my psvr2
Thanks bro. I want the ANC but the 7 is $130 on Amazon rn vs $350 for Nova Pro.
Ima just stick with nova 7 after watching this. My last headset was a tb stealth 700 and it brick on me after 2 years. I’m ready to move on from TB because I hadn’t had a headset from them that has lasted me a whole console generation. Also it has Bluetooth which is great and what made me get a TB since they were the only ones who had it at a budget friendly price back in 2021.
The battery swapping is 100 percent worth it to me, but this was great. Subscribed.
I got the nova pro wireless the other day, I love em! I prefer them over my Audeze penrose and my Arctis pros w/gamedac.
Great video! Im about to return my Pros due to the terrible ANC (transparency mode actually) which was the only reason I bought it. I really enjoy being able to hear my surroundings while gaming and after not being able to get any external mic to work with Airpods Maxs, I went with the pros.
I was incredibly disappointed as I seriously cant even tell a difference from Noise canceling and Transparency. Didnt fully understand the difference between the 7s and Pros but now I do, knowing I can atleast have a cheaper headset that does the same things.
quick true and fast, i like it thanks
These are great
I was about to upgrade my nova 7 wireless but now having second thoughts
Awesome review! Do you think switching to the 7's from the Razer BSv2 pros are worth for Bluetooth and usbc?
Sir, I truly appreciate the quality of your videos and the information provided. Question. I own the Audeze Mobius. For competitive FPS games, shoukd I stick with the Mobius or do you highly recommend something else? I also tried the Sen pc38x.
I like the battery swap station but I don't need the other features. I just need that, good audio and mic. Unfortunately there is no option for that.
Hi Brian. Full review on the Nova 7’s anytime soon? Maybe you can say something about the amount of sound delay when using 2.4 wireless connection? (If any)
I agree with you for the most part but the no battery swap is a deal-breaker for me, I will only ever buy battery swap headphones. Got used to it on my old steelseries headphones and there's no going back.
So I have been seriously considering going wired. Recently, my Sony H9s crapped out on me. The leather around the bottom of the headband came off, making them uncomfortable to wear. The Battery life on the H9s are pretty terrible, its just better to keep them plugged in.
SO I ran to Walmart, wanting to get a cheap pair of replacement ones just for now, and I ended up getting some Astro A10s. They are totally wired only connect to a PC using a 3.5mm plug. I would describe the sound as "okay". No noise cancelling, so I can still the hear the tv when my wife is watching Hulu while I am gaming. But it got me thinking... maybe I should just go wired from now on?
The swappable battery is just way to much of a difference maker for me. Don’t think I can ever go back
Its nice, but the battery on the 7 lasts for almost 40 hours. It’s not like you have to plug it in much.
What about the terrible side tone which is too quiet and makes me yell into my mic
How do you connect these (Nova 7's) to your GO XLR ? thanks for the reviews! Helping a lot!
Disagree with the ANC part. Coming from Arctis Pro Wireless to the Nova Pro Wireless. I noticed how loud my room fans were
Man you are amazing
After I heard the Bluetooth feature I kinda regret getting the nova pro, but I still like having the hot swap battery and metal build.
Does the dongle works with a USB adapter from c to a? Is is maybe one in the box?
Thannnnkkss!!
this video came at just the right time for me. I got myself the nova 7. Thanks for looking out brother.
I felt that "lol wtf" 😂 i had mines over a year. Kinda sad because tho the mic is terrible, its damaged and its no way to fix it
Thanks for that fast and clear video! but what about the Sony H9? It’s still a price difference around 70€ to the Nova Pro. So my question is, Nova 7 or H9 (if going cheaper than Nova Pro)?
If you tweak with the software does the bass hit on the nova pros or not?
Review of the nova 7(x) or a versus with something like TB stealth 700 max...? Thanks anyway,God job!!!
Which should I purchase: Logitech G Pro X 2, Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023, or SteelSeries Nova 7?
Thank you
Full review video on the 7's coming soon?
Just got the Nova 7s today for my PS5 slim !
Highly recommend if you got the slim PS5 because it has two USB C ports in the front unlike the OG version.
Plus i don't like to use the USB ports in the back so thier perfect for fhe PS5 slim ! I got mines for $180 at GameStop with a $10 discount so $170 !
I was looking at getting the Nova pro wireless but then I realised it was $500 in my country whereas I saw the Nova 7x at $230 and got that because I didn't really need the replaceable batteries and the ANC
What software to remove limiter?
Great video. Does it work with a usb-c to USB adapter? My pc or old Xbox one doesn’t have a usb-c port.
what about the 7.1 sound?
ANC is the main reason I’m looking for a new headset
Had both hes spot on nova 7 for the W
The 7p's are wicked. Best headset I've ever used. ❤️
Whats the difference in comparioks to the 7 and the 7x?
Got these after my Arctis 7s charging port busted. Hope it feels similar.
I believe they also messed up some of the features that made the base station so handy for content creators. I would still prefer. Battery swapping to having to use a wire at all. I know eventually I would probably just learn to live with the wire instead of using it wireless.
Good stuff.
I need to upgrade asap and just saw Arctis pro is on sale for half the price around 140 pounds instead usual 350 i watched the review and i still can't understand why there are so many cables like usb for phone ,usb for pc ,usb to use certain sound option 🤔 😅 it has some cool aspects but all those cables freak me out. I already have whole drawer of cables and to this day i only use few main ones because most brands dont put a stomap on them so u know which device it is for ! I bet after some time those cables would be mixed with other cables in my home .
What is the difference between arctis nova 7 vs nova 7x?
That’s a big price diff considering that you aren’t missing that much. Is a full vid on these coming up?
The nova pros have way better sound quality, software options, and compatibility. Thats what the price difference is.
@@ThePenguin134 would the novs pros work fine with xbox and playstation? nova 7 does, but nova pros have a separate version for xbox? looking to get a series s/x in the future to go along side my ps5..
@@ThePenguin134 way better sound? I keep hearing that the pros sound a little better, but not way better
Sold. Wtf that was so good
Do these work with both the PS5 & Xbox Series X like the Nova Pros?
Do you recommend the nova7 wireless pr hyperX alpha wireless? I’ve seen they’ve been so similar and I couldn’t figure out the difference.
wondering what is your eq setup?
Took me a year to see this video and realize there’s a volume limiter by default on the headphones 😭
So sound quality and loudness are generally the same between the two I was worried I’m losing out getting the 7 instead of pro
