Yes, visit geo-dome.co.uk and click the top link that says shop, I have loads of plans for many different sized domes. Material cost would be around £450 and about two weeks to build.
The windows are made the same as the main triangle frames, just turned inside out, hinged and covered with polythene. There is also a flashing strip along the top edge.
How sturdy are these structures? I understand that domes in general have a better durability because of the myriad joints and shape. However, are these built to last years and wear and tear?
how are those pieces are connected to the frame? i am a student and want to learn how geodesic polycarbonate domes are made and some specification of that material
I want to purchase these plans. When I go to this dome to buy the plans it has 3 different options to purchase at slightly different prices. Which one do I choose to buy all the information I'll need to build my own my self?
Hi Paul, first let me highlight all the great work you are doing on your channel. My husband and I are looking at the plans you've made available on your site. This dome is of particular interest because we feel we could turn it into a mini studio for our glamping site. We have a few questions, however. My husband's primary concern is the waterproofing in between the joints of each section you assemble. How do you make sure it's water-tight?
pauly1060, thanks so much for you vids! i am going to purchase the 4.5 meter plans from your website, but do have a question--does stapling the polythene as you've done provide for a waterproof seal when the pentagons and hexagons are joined together? in other words, are there additional steps needed to ensure that the dome does not leak in between the joints where pentagon meets hexagon?? i do appreciate your time.
Mr. Robinson. I noticed some of the domes in cold weather climates / zones sink their base panels beneath the surface. Do you also do the same or would frost not be an issue with these structures? Thank you sir.
Perhaps that's why the title says "time lapse video" Just saying lol Not to mention, how can you not figure all of that out???? Dimensions are all over google.
This is my favorite one. I bought the GD5 plans but now I'm thinking I want this one instead. Great videos, they really help out a lot.
Men In Black showed up to help? Spacey!

Good morning, I have a question, how is the structure anchored to the ground?

Looks promising for my garden in Copenhagen. If I buy it as pre-built with polythene and you send it to Denmark, what would the price be?
wow.. do you have the plan for it? I want to built one too! please...
Very good 🤗
Can it withstand heavy snowfall, branches, etc?
I assume we can buy in pre fab sections, Where can I buy one and how much please?
very nice thanks for sharing
this is great, where can I found the plan for this? Thanks.
Is this a beveled board method? Does it leak at the seem?

Cool... Was thinking about trying this with PVC
Hi Paul, Thanks for the video!
What is the width and thickness of the wood frames in this video?
I guess if in 9 years he doesn't answer , he probably won't.
I would like to build this. What type glass is this? How about a PDF of plans.
привет Павел ! для такого типа конструкции как сделать скошенные основания ? сколько брать разницу ?
Nice, but aren't u affraid that the shell will break with strong winds or hail?
why would it? Its shape should do extremely well in winds
Do you have a web site where I can buy the plans? What was the cost to build this?
Thanks for the reply but, the website you posted doesn't work.. can you help?
Do you have a sheet of materials you used for this, could you private message them to me if you still have them?
What size difference is your tiangles on the pentagon to the hexagon?
How much. I want to make a green house
would you be able to send me a basic plan on how to do this
Couldn't register for the training none of the links worked
He glued this structure together!
I used 5 season horticultural polythene, stapled to the timber frame before final assembly. Check my channel for a video showing covering.

Hello! I really like this kit! Do you have plans or link for it?
What did you use to cover your dome and how?
Can this support snow ?
What did you use to create the venting windows?
Is there an even cheaper alternative?

that is beautiful - hopefully I will have a husband that can build such things
You can do it yourself! You’re capable and independent!
Could you tell me please, what is the high?
The dome is 4.8m diameter and is about 2.9m tall.
Paul Robinson. Thank you so much!

@bradgray51 acidome.ru Howerver it is in russian, but google translate helps a lot.
For some reason the video made me feel tired.
Great....Now I feel like a slow,lazy loser!
An art work, but not quite efficient for greenhouse purpose.
Love it
he does not explain anything so this is not helpful at all.

Very nice! Bucky would approve!
