    Bill made a small goof in this video in that he forgets about the small hex screws that hold in the ends of the outside rear quarter weatherstrips (one on each side.) The left Driver's side hex screw can be seen at (9:22) at the far right of the quarter in the video. At (9:35), Bill puts the weatherstrip right over the hex screw! A big No-no! A small goof, but definitely worth mentioning! Otherwise great video. Keep 'em coming guys.. Tony K. 1966 Sprint 200 Registry, MCA#70001.

    Thank you for the info. Please share how to repair the sear that separates the front and rear window

    Great video series but a couple point worth mentioning. Depending on who you are one of these points may seem more important than the other...I list them in no particular order of importance as I believe they are equal - any time you have the door panel or quarter panel off it is highly recommended to do periodic maintenance of the inner door workkngs... lube the regulators, check the plastic rollers, vacuume/blow out any debris etc. and the other point is on the outside rear quarter beltline, dont forget the screw, it will screw you. 9:22.

    Hello.. you mentioned for the door you had one that had a black bead for the 65.. this should also fit a 66 ??? I'm wanting to remove as much chrome as possible..

    I bought this kit but it came without staples for the rear beltline. What staples can I use instead? Can I just glue it in place?

      @cjponyparts  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I refer to use heavy duty staples or tacks. I have seen people glue them but don't think it will last.

      CJ Pony Parts I ended up using wire ties combined with rubber adhesive. More importantly, thanks to your video I had the confidence to finally remove the back seats. Now I know how easy it is it should be no worries in case the adhesive comes unstuck!

    I've removed both the rubber stop and the clips on the door, and my window still doesn't go below where it's supposed to. Am I missing a step? I have a 65 coupe
