    What would be awesome is a video explaining how to go through the process of shooting in S-log to getting it on a laptop, then editing it in a program like fcpx etc and how to apply and use LUTS. Great for beginners😊

      I have made Komplet own video about CINE EI!
      With this video, I want to show beginners what advantages SLOG has, cine ei would only confuse them... 🤓

    Another nice tips, Max! Thanks! Since that i started to use S-log in almost all my client projects, I'm that my footage turn be better. Do you film your stuff using an A7SIII or A7IV?

      @maxsautner  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Nice to hear!
      I film handheld with my FX6 and A7Siii on my ronin rs 3, perfect combo but I wold like to get an other FX3, because CINE EI :D

    *When I learned about SLOG I started using this more on my a6400 and ZV-1. Now I know longer have the a6400 but have the FX-30 I'm learning S-LOG 3 and Find it easier too edit color not as well as those whom have been using S-Log for awhile, but I'm learning*

    Hi. Thanks for the useful tips. You are talking about how to expose in indoor or room or light-controlled environment. What about outside, run and gun environment? How to get the right exposure?

    • @maxsautner

      The zebras are the same!
      You just need to work with your ND!

    also keep mind, NAVIE iso is the only iso that will give you clear s log 3 footage, so get ur self a nice variable ND filter

      That's right!

      do i realy need a ND Filter when i only use the FX30 in my indoor Studio which is a very dark one.. nearly blacked out?

    • @visionaryentertainment1431
      @visionaryentertainment1431 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@VELVET462 no I’m that case u would set ur ISO at 12800. Your shutter speed at double of your frame rate. And get a low aperture lens like f 1.4 if it’s still to dark, u need to add lighting now.

    • @VELVET462
      @VELVET462 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      im happy to hear that, i did everything you mention.. sigma 16mm F1.4, a few amaran lights etc, frame is 23 or 24 something? and Shutter at 48, but with all the lights (Key, Fill,Hair, and other stuff) i think shooting in ISO 800 should also work well, need to try that the next weeks, but thanks for your informations@@visionaryentertainment1431

    Do you recommend using slog 3 for vlogs?

    • @maxsautner
      @maxsautner  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Antonio,
      Not really... vlog is a fast delivery content! Keep it simple and use S Cinetone!
      Log is for more complex postproduction workflow, and needs a ton of time.

    how abt iso ? should i use auto if using slog ?

    • @maxsautner
      @maxsautner  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, it's best to use native iso values. on my A7Siii its 640 and 12800, on my FX6 its 800 & 12800.
      When using those, you will get the highest dynamic range and the lowest noise in your image.

    Hey, not a bad vid but more of a sales pitch to use S-Log rather than a deep dive. Especially given that zebra is one of many ways to expose a shot.
    This comment is half feedback/half heads up to anyone not so well versed on the topic.

      @@maxsautner No problem. I understand introducing beginners to a concept that can take hours hands-on to learn properly can be difficult but I think it's good to have some kind of a verbal disclaimer that a certain process is 'preferred' and not totally black/white, right/wrong. Especially when there's other YTers saying that another handful of ways are like 'the way' to do it. (+1.7 exposure meter, graph, etc.).
