Had to click on this video as soon as I saw it. Excellent work here and amazing scenery and engineering here. As you said in the video, it's on many roadgeeks bucket list, including mine.
Hope you had a good birthday. It's always great when there's new stuff from you, partly because your videos are so well-filmed and informative, and partly because you always hip me to some new tunes ...
Happy Birthday my guy!! We really are appreciative over the years the effort and time you've put into producing a magnificent product that stands out among your (youtube driving) peers. Thank You 🙏
Wow. Amazing! This sure beats the Quad Cities USA like I’m used to seeing on your channel! Beautiful Hawaii! Happy Birthday also! Thank you for sharing this! Mark in Iowa. Great to see you back! Mark.
Happy birthday to you my friend- you got lucky to visit it on your birthday! I have always wanted to ride Interstate H-3 for years since I read about it years ago as a kid- I have raced on it in video games- there was a series of video games- Test Drive Unlimited and its sequel where you had the opportunity to cruise and explore those highways in pretty cool detail- so that has made my desire to ride H-3 a major item on my bucket list as well! Then again- Hawaii has been on my list for YEARS as well- thanks for a great ride and a great video!
"The other side of the range feels like another world." I thought that exact same thing when I first did it. I remember when I first drove the H-3. It was unlike anything I'd ever driven before. The Haiku Stairway caught my eye so much that I went back and did it the very next year.
Happy birthday mate!! Amazing video, love how driving the H-3 feels like you're travelling through a rainforest even though you're actually never that far from civilization. And the views are simply breathtaking.
Nice video! This is the most scenic freeway in Hawaii and very challenging to built it. I love riding on H-3. I think I've ever seen these freeways in Hawaii from the game Test Drive Unlimited.
Hawaii really a beautiful state overall, same with Alaska Glad to see you back after a near year long hiatus, thought you permanently retired there for a sec lol
Hawaii is the best and great for some fun in the sun is the best and amazing trip for the first time in the world of the same thing as well and the best thing ever for the series of the videos on TH-cam is the only way to get it right by setting it in motion to the maximum
I admit that I-H3 is a freeway engineering marvel with tunnels and even have their carriageways elevated because Hawaii doesn't want to replace nature and wildlife with architectures.

Thanks. Oahu has its own vibe compared with the rest of the island. It's L.A. with a lot of laid-back (by California standards).

Yeah I'm back, but just taking things a bit slower. I'll have the rest of the videos out soon, likely in the next month or two.
Well, its cold here sadly.
Well that was August. Illinois is home, so I feel everything.
