Something missing everywhere is a dedicated area for Australians uncovering their ancestors migration into USA and Canada . In Australia many people are discovering exciting new cultural back grounds and were unaware that prior to Australian convict transportation to Australia that their ancestors were being shipped all over the world as convict, indentured servants, military careers, many reasons , with some dominant countries like USA . And that frequently creating a whole new set of ethnic back grounds only being discovered now but it's presenting Australians with some even more unique issues . And using a ton of forums is helpful but sound understanding of dna for ged match use etc is not always there -- wish someone would target this space. many many Australians now searching . Trying to create paper trails is from the get go is even with all these helpful resources is a massive job because often these connections were many gens back --unless you get lucky .
