Hang in their Google. Sorry to hear about your fall. My wife and I very much enjoy following your adventure every few nights when you post. Yu are the best & thanks for bringing us on your trek!!
Some people have very little empathy for others. It is what it is. I was seriously damaged sliding down an ice field on the side of Mt Whitney like Chatter did that time and had to shame an old couple to take me to Lone Pine where I eventually wound up in ICU. Get some rest!!!
Oh, the PCT is easier than the AT and Oregon is flat and smooth...excuse me while I slip and fall from the trail to my death, lol. Every trail has its challenges. Happy the skies cleared a bit so you could see the views around you, the mountains, lakes, and streams are spectacular in this area.
Your not the only one with shoe problems in Oregon. Russell in the Bush had a high school reunion in Seattle. Couldn't find his size in Seattle or Portland because his brand apparently switching from 3.5 to 4.0. Good luck as you'll need them for all our ups and downs as the flat grounds are the roads you cross.

Oh man, I actually smacked my pinky toe on a rock when I was running to catch the VVR ferry over Lake Edison. I ended up losing the toenail lol.
