Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Coffee cake in America doesn’t have coffee in it. It’s usually just a fluffy sweet pastry you eat with coffee. A common one is cake with a top layer of brown sugar and cinnamon with some nuts. Like a streusel cake. Great video by the way.

the unknown item looks like a pecan sticky bun, basically a cinnamon roll topped with caramel and pecans. sometimes cooked with the caramel and pecans on the bottom of the tray with the cinnamon rolls placed on top and flipped after cooking.
Likely walnuts in PA instead of pecans.
Coffee Cake (in America at least) has no coffee in it. It's a crumbly, cinnamon brown sugar cake. It's called coffee cake because it goes great WITH a cup of coffee. You would love it!

In America, “Coffee Cake” is not a coffee flavored cake, but instead a plain, vanilla, or yellow cake with cinnamon streusel/crumb topping. Sometimes it also has cinnamon swirl within the cake. It’s called coffee cake because traditionally people would eat it while drinking coffee.
Just watched this with my 8 year old son, he asked why we can’t have a breakfast like that??? I put my foot down and said we can but no coffee!! Hard but fair!!

You still need to do the blues brothers challenge. Both jake's giant chicken order (4 whole fried chickens and a coke), elwood's order (Dry white toast, lindsay can do that part!) and the restaurant scene (Cocktail shrimp, rolls, steaks, and whatever else was on the table).
I think he had an Angel Food Cake as well - binging with babish did it a few weeks ago
Yea, I think Beard called them cream puffs, but they are indeed Angel food cake with whipped topping and a strawberry on top :)
He stuffed his mouth with angel food cake as far as I can tell. This is my favorite challenge. Ever since I was a kid and watched this, I have wanted to eat this meal myself.

An apple pie that's hotter than the sun.
A Terry's Chocolate Orange (with some superficial damage to the box)
Mince and onions
A lamb lunch.
The bosses cheese
Penne al arrabiata(but with action man bow ties)
A plate of sandwiches with a clump of cress a crescent of crisp and a hot egg.
Washed down with a shot of directors and a flavia and or a half a bottle of blue nun.

That movie was filmed about 30 miles from where I live. And we have multiple flavors of wafers ! Key Lime, Raspberry, Strawberry, Lemon, Peanut Butter, Vanilla, Chocolate, and others. :D

I used to eat those cookie wafers when I was growing up in the U.S. (before you were born - in the 70's) and my great-grandmother always had these when I came to visit! They came in three colors/flavors: chocolate, vanilla and pink (not sure what flavor that was - not very different from the others - ha). I think that 0:48 (where you have question marks) is some kind of cinnamon roll with pecans.

We do have the wafer cookies in America, I have hated them since childhood, the usual flavors are vanilla strawberry chocolate and peanut butter. Still popular with the older generation.

Coffee cake here is usually a term for a cake eaten with coffee or tea, not coffee flavored. The don’t usually have buttercream on them.
More often strudel bits or a thin poured glaze.
