I still remember waking up one week before my graduation. Finding my mom crying in front of the TV as the morning news announced his death. I had many occasions to listen to him live. Only once when he was with the Makaha Sons. But it was an a series of experiences I will never forget. I may be biased being Hawaiian. But I have been able to see many shows in my life so far. From U2, Three Doors Down, to Alabama, Toby Keith, and George Strait. Reggae, Hip Hop, Pop, you name it. I don't think I have been to a bad show yet. But listening to Iz live is still the greatest musical experience of my life
