I think you have a few years of repairing and pointing walls in your future. Very nice build for the smaller window. Nice to see Tilly of course, and a few kitties. Be careful working alone while Sharon is gone.
Wow Andy, you have done so much work to complete that room. You must have those chairs and fire with Sharon by your side and Tilly at your feet speeding you to the finish line.
It's called a churn brush because it is the type of bristle brush that was traditionally used for cleaning milk churns. The shape allowed it to reach the furthest corners of the milk churn. The fact that it has become the "go-to" brush for lime pointing is perhaps incidental, but may also give an insight into where the traditional lime skills were preserved. I would also have known the churn-brush as a "welly-brush", because it was the type of brush that the Department of Agriculture & Fisheries for Scotland issued for cleaning and disinfecting boots between farms!
Sharon hope you have a good trip to visit your Mom. Andy hard work pays off. It is coming together nicely. Hopefully by the time Sharon is back you might have the second window frame installed and perhaps the glass too! Great Job on this video.
Good job! The hole will be filled sooner than you think. Question - why not put a window in the top half? You'll have natural light and need to use less electricity in the winter. I like the idea of a window there.
I have researched how the Spanish, would have written seven and eight, everything l have found leads to the number 7, so, 1744 is my answer. Enjoyed the content.
No he didn't and penicillin wasn't invented, it was discovered by Alexander Fleming. Louis Pasteur was known for germ theory of disease, Rabies vaccine, Cholera vaccine, Anthrax vaccines and pasteurisation.
👏👍
That inscription may refer to repairs in the wall that year or an extension. It looks like the house was built in stages.
Good steady progress!👍👍

I really love the look of the walls always as you finish them. They go from s tumble down pile to a neat and sturdy looking building, very satisfying.
Mayo del año 1744 (The month of may of the year 1744) That's what I read in it.

I think that was their plan, window on top to let more light in
@@Lainy989yes. They said they don’t need a door there when they have the other door into the utility room with the other half of the kitchen.
