For the ramp at that height, the construction of the ramp had to be damn good to hold up a moving weight on it. Everything in that short segment played a significant part in it.

I have a total new respect for Tom Cruise! When I saw this I was like please let it be Tom Cruise Please let it be Tom Cruise doing the actual stunt because they show the trailer but when he jumps off, they just show the back of his head and when he lands they show him. I've known him in the past to do his own stunts but to do this takes incredible guts! This guy is crazy but gotta have love and mad respect for the incredible stunts and movies he has done. This is entertaining and cool as hell.... However I question the real danger... Tom is a very experienced rider as well as jumper... He's driving in a straight line, following a red stripe, standing up on a bike the bike looks very slimmed down, nothing to snag on he's wearing a tight outfit, meaning nothing to get caught on the bike and not going that fast... To me, this is a simple stunt for Tom!
I've never seen a single Tom Cruise movie. His movies aren't really my style. BUT he has all my respect. Even an adrenaline junkie like myself wouldn't try some of the things he has done.
You should check out his earlier movies if you are into his action movies. He has practically done every genre in movie so you will most likely find something that you will like
