Making Ken parry Chun-Li as the last frame we see was the biggest pop-off in an animation that had me hyped the entire way through. Thank you for this work of art.
Remy main here, I found it cool that he was in here, I saw most of the artwork in tumblr and was disappointed at first, and seeing him placed a smile on my face
I'm astonished, the fact that this game gets this kind of tribute 23 years after its release, just goes to show how amazing and special it is. Great job!
@grunchchristmas honestly I love Remy for his design the most, he looks very unique compared to other characters from the series and could really use an update
You don't probably get Alot of people appreciating your Hugo frames but thank you , You really nailed the big man's personality in that little time Signed a Hugo Main
It's the little things like correctly getting Remy's finger snap, Poison striking a pose while Huge flexes, and all the background details that just hit the nostalgia tingles for me. Amazing work.
This is incredible work, especially how well you convey everyone's personalities in only a few seconds, the stylized backgrounds, and of course the parry sequence at the end. You've clearly spent a lot of time with this game. I used to be a reviewer, and have played and written about literally hundreds of games. I've always loved fighting games the most, and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike is one of my all-time favorites. After all these years, it's one of the few that I regularly go back to. This video is a good reminder of why. Capcom should hire you for SFVI!
As soon as I heard it was 3rd strike's anniversary today, this animation immediately came to mind. From moment 37 to the mystery behind Q, its safe to say this has to be my favorite game in the Street Fighter series for just how much fun you can get out of this one title alone and how much this game alone has done for the FGC as a whole. Happy 25th to 3rd strike, as we all fight for the future, trapped in the world of Street Fighter 3! Now if you need me, I'll be on Fightcade.
Gotta say. The shot with Sean is colored beautifully. Probably my favorite part of this short aside from Elena being cute as heck, and Ken parrying Chun-Li's kick.
This is the freshest, yet most well-aged animation I've seen in recent memory. This could be an adult swim bumper for the game, months before it's release. I can almost feel CRT static oozing from this video. AND the Chun parry at the end? Absolutely top tier.
I literally cannot love this more. Makes me miss Dreamcast and 3rd Strike all over. I think it's my favorite fighter ever, or at least strongly competes with DOA2 and SC3 for the position. This had to have taken forever, and I greatly appreciate the time and effort to deliver this masterpiece.
So much nostalgia the memories of playing this with my cousin oh lord its just so incredible how we went from this to street fighter 6 its insane man thanks for the animation AND UPLOAD MORE
The memories come flooding in. The arcade, the people I've met, those close matches I've won and lost, the sounds of buttons getting pressed, the friends I've made. It all comes back.
I miss the old arcade days. Playing with people in the arcade was so fun. People would give each other tips and pointers or just become pals and hangout. Playing online is just so cold and impersonal.

Everything here is just bizarre as I have no other way to describe this but awesome, just awesome! I was lucky enough to also grow up with arcade games that got me into the realm of fighting games as well. The Street fighter series as games and as a franchise of the story itself just gives me goosebumps of how cool, creative and chill back nature makes it very appealing to me. I loved the Chun-li scene, and Ryu it's just awesome to see in the big screen of this video, especially if its based from the intro of SF III 3rd Strike but as FAN-MADE? I'm probably ranting at this point, but thank you for creating this piece of art, nostalgia. That hard work you put into clearly shows the passion right there, great job!
Some of street fighter 3's characters don't get alot of notice or love like necro , Q, and Hugo and this video does them justice. We need to see more of them in the next game !
The dedication of this animation is… very much alot, I’m surprised to how close this emulates the game’s art style, the animation is both great and smooth and visually… it’s extremely detailed and looks like it’s from the 1997s as well…. Basically: Impressive! You just kick started your career with a bright future
This game was so animated for its time. Every character had a distinct personality to show you who they were, Q not withstanding (and even then he has some interesting quirks). This animation just takes that thought and goes all out with it. I loved every second I was trying to get good at competitive with Makoto, and seeing this kinda makes me wanna boot up Fightcade again for old times sake
Absolutely top tier animation. You really did the game justice. Everyone's got so much style and flair here! I love how much impact their is in Urien and Dudley's animations especially.

Absolutely insanely good work. The thing that appealed to me the most about Street Fighter III is the incredible amount of style and flair it brought in just about everything; music, animation, aesthetics just completely on point.
