My youngest son shared this song with me years ago… since that time we lost 3 family members to Domestic Violence and our family has been torn apart…. For some odd reason I am deemed the bad guy… No one calls unless they are in a jam… my middle daughter lost her 19 year old daughter in this tragedy, she was visiting my youngest pregnant daughter from out of state … they are the 3 that were killed. My youngest granddaughter (12) was shot twice but my baby girl survived and got her 6 years old brother out of harms way. I never meddled in my kids lives but when my daughter reached out to me and told me she wanted out I sprung into action… I purchased a house for her in another state but she and the rest was killed the day of settlement. …. I have done a lot of reflecting trying to figure out why I am being treated as the bad guy… this song popped in my head today and speaks volumes of my feelings… I thank my son for sharing this song with me even though he is now a distant memory 💔
When I listen to this I think of my kids. I know I haven't been a perfect Mum (I've struggled with depression for most of my life), but they make me want to be the best I can be.

I dedicate this song to God. Never really believed in god as a kid then when I was 11 my mom died and I decided I hated god and blamed him for her death I was angry for so long. Until I was 18 After one of my many suicide attempts. I heard god speak to me “come to me my child I love you” I had heard him say this before many times and told him to piss off.
